Booked these apartments for a cheeky week away. Read the reviews so went with an open mind. Booked these apartments for a cheeky week away. Read the reviews so went with an open mind. We had nothing to worry about, stayed in apartment D1, lovely large terrace with sun loungers and sea views. Large apartment, new microwave and hob, good selection of utensils and kitchen equipment. Cleaners came in everyday also got clean towels every day. Whether we were lucky with aoartment but we would definitely stay here again.

We have been to PDC over 20 times and have stayed in several different places around the town. we decided to give this place a try for a couple of reasons - the location and the price. After reading some of the recent reviews about unhelpful staff, cockroaches, dirty sunbeds and various other things we were a bit worried but spend most of our days out and about anyway so thought we would see what it was like for ourselves. First thing was getting there and the room wasn't ready but we were earlier than the stated 3pm check in so that wasn't a problem, the reception staff were very friendly and pleasant and asked us to come back a bit later and when we got back everything was ready and check in was easy and straight forward. We were given room B16 which was quite a big apartment and on first glance looked reasonably clean. There was a kettle, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, 2 ring hob so you could make your self something to eat if you wanted to. A decent size balcony which got the sun most of the day but not much of a view as it is behind the shops and restaurants on the strip. Looking closer during the week you can see where the room is dated and a bit rough round the edges especially the shower but the cleaners came in everyday and did what they could but it would benefit from a deep clean. We had the bedding changed once and the towels 3 changed 3 times in the week we were there. The pool area was OK with plenty of sun beds and no need to worry about saving one with a towel like in some places and while we were there the maintenance man was pressure washing all the sun beds so if any were dirty they shouldn't be now for a while. We didn't go in the pool and didn't see anyone in it at all but that is the same in nearly every place we have stayed in PDC as they are usually freezing cold at this time of year. All the area around the complex and gardens were very clean and tidy and well looked after Overall we were happy with the location and the staff were friendly and helpful but we wouldn't stay here again unless the rooms had a refurb and the shower rooms got updated. I know it is relatively cheap compared to some other places but you can find better.

Just had a 4 night stay. Location is fab but the rooms are dated and not the cleanest. Just had a 4 night stay. Location is fab but the rooms are dated and not the cleanest. Tried to check in to be told come back in a hour went bk 2 hours later still not ready cleaner was watching videos with receptionist and was dismissed for another hour went to room crisps on floor dirty mirrors and sofa stained. Lots of missing utensils and fridge was warm . Had towels changed once and bins emptied although they missed kitchen bin and only mopped front terrace . There's not many plugs and lighting isn't the best . Pool areas ok but glad we were right on beach and strip to escape and just be out and about bed was comfy pillows terrible stayed in better 2 stars don't expect much but cleanliness is a must to us and our next door neighbours had no hot water for 2 days cheap but not very cheerful
