We really enjoyed this family holiday, myself my partner and our child (1.5yrs) and my 2 parents. The food was amazing every night, great choice, healthy and all sorts, we couldn’t get booked into the Asian night as was fully booked but the hotel rooms were fully booked up. Good shade for the baby, the room looking out the sea views was so peaceful and the view was amazing. The walk down the promenade to the marina was around 20/25 mins pushing the buggy and letting the baby walk every so often but could be quicker. Entertainment was good and the baby/child shows were also really good. All in all a really lovely place with kind and friendly staff, great food and the room was also amazing with a very comfortable bed. Showers were also good. If there was 1 thing I could say they could improve it would be the child’s park. If they could add more stuff to that park it would be even better but still didn’t bother us as was so many more things other to do also and was still 5* stay for us. The kids pool was such a good depth with good shade around if you have a toddler etc. the highchair were always spotless clean the wine was good the beer was good the juice and coffee all really lovely the fruit and salad always so fresh. Would happily go back and recommend to a family everytime. Jet2 were also really good but this review mainly for the hotel of course.

Arrived late at nightafter small delay, check in was very quick and easy, was pointed out that snack bar was open for late night snack. Not a great selection in there to be honest, but we were able get something and grab drink. Rooms were spacious enough. We were a party of 4 and as such were split into two separate rooms which were next to each other. Our kids are old enough to have the room to themselves so they liked a bit of independence and own space. Decorated quite nicely 2 single beds pushed together, sliding wardrobes (not enough hangers though) safe (which you get mechanism from reception for a charge. TV fridge but nothing in it, and sofa chair and table and then a couple of chairs and table on balcony. You can upgrade rooms and all inc package if you want. We just stuck with what we had booked. Though have to say disappointed no mini bar nor water/soft drinks in fridge. (Water bot avail from reception) The hotel itself is quite big with 3 pools for everyone and an adults only pool. A pool bar and snack bar where you can serve yourself beer and soft drinks (if want take own cool drink beakers then no probs otherwise it’s just paper cups). There is a main buffet in main building and couple more bars. There is an option for eating at an another restaurant which is one night Tex Mex and one night Pan Asian. Says Ala carte but basically is another buffet. We tried both and both ok, preferred pan Asian. Main buffet is good with an Italian bit down the bottom end where can get fresh cooked pasta and pizza. Choice was varied enough. Standard salad bar and various choices of meat/veg dishes, there is also fresh cooked meats served at the grill and a roast meat of day. Did see some vegan options too and soups available. Desserts were generally small cakes fruit ice creams mousses/creams. Buffet unlike others I’ve been to is serve self drinks. Wine is dispensed via tap as was beers and soft drinks. Tables are cleaned quickly but I do feel that this is where money is saved. I do like to have my wine poured and drinks brought to table, even at breakfast you have get own tea/coffee/juice. Breakfast is decent all usual stuff, omelettes are not maid to order which does speed up things, you could either get an omelette with cheese or plain omelette these were pre made. Pool areas were generally clean and tidy though weather when we were there was quite windy so can have some rubbish/dust gather in some parts. Pools were very cold. Not a problem for us but you did feel the difference, and when in water if wind does blow can feel quite cold. You can get down to beach and the coastal path takes you all way to the marina area near playa blanca. It’s a good half hour walk but lovely, especially with breeze. There is a supermarket 5 mins away for anything you may have forgot, as well as a couple of shops onsite too. All in all a decent enough hotel and at 4* is about its rating. I can’t say I would rush to go back but on other hand if a decent deal came up I wouldn’t be too worried to go back. First time in Lanzarote and liked it. Place very clean and tidy and did like Playa Blanca. Only couple of quibbles for people. Usual Sunbed wars!!! Signs up saying bout reserving sunbeds but…people still down before 730am to get their spot. When we arrived on our first day we got beds at 930am but as hotel got busier due to English holidays if you want a certain spot you’ll have to get down before 8am. If want certain drinks then you may have pay extra and one of bars is all inclusive til 11pm then pay after. Staff I found were all excellent. I received good service from everyone.

“Brilliant hotel for couples or families in a beautiful resort.”

We loved this hotel. The view from our balcony was amazing and the beds were amongst the most comfortable l have slept in. The food and drinks were tasty and plentiful and the location was beautiful. We loved this hotel. The view from our balcony was amazing and the beds were amongst the most comfortable l have slept in. The food and drinks were tasty and plentiful and the location was beautiful. My only criticisms would be the over bath showers. Hopefully next refurb they will get rid of the bath and put in lovely walk in shower cubicles as it wasn't very safe having to clamber in the way it was laid out and the shower didn't work that well. The other criticism was that the staff didn't clamp down on the sunbed hogging which was constant. 5 pools, but if you go after 9 [which is the time it says you can go at) you will be hard pressed to find a single sunbed without towels already on it! Many then lie bereft of humans for most of the day! 😡

Mixed feelings. This is our third visit, the last one was a long time ago and the hotel could do with some upgrading. The rooms and corridors are looking tired and shabby. Some of the tiled floor areas are cracked. Some of the edges of cupboards and n the bedroom were coming away when reported someone was sent to fix them quickly. Bathroom needs upgrading cabinets chipped and shower area warped. Cleaning of the rooms was good. Beds were comfortable. Food was good overall we found the Italian end was the best area to sit on as air con worked there. Mexican was nice Asian not so good. Snack bar wasn’t nice we arrived very late at night and went for food . Tables were dirty and food unappetising. Queues for drinks at night were ridiculously long at the pool area. Seating area recently revamped and pleasant although there was still work being done to the roof. Pool area disappointing. I never saw anyone clean it or hose down the area needs a power wash. The sunbeds need cleaned. More parasols are needed as there aren’t many shaded areas around the pools and some of the parasols are broken. Waiting and bar staff were excellent.
