We have just got home from a wonderful trip to the rubicon hotel I was worried by some of the negative reviews but honestly this place did not disappoint it was beautiful, the food outstanding and fresh probably the best all inclusive I’ve been too. Staff are super friendly and always happy to help. We upgraded last minute to the privilege deal so glad we did the volcan restaurant which comes with it was incredible and the food was amazing. So many beautiful pools to use and loads of sunbeds no need to get up at the crack of dawn as plenty for all. All drinks are branded and generously made. My only regret is I didn’t book for longer! Thank you to all the staff who made our holiday amazing!! 10/10

Overall we had a great stay at H10 Rubicon Lanzarote. The hotel has a good location especially if you have a rental car - between the volcano and the sea. There is a nice walk from the hotel towards the nearest beach in Playa Blanca (about 20 min). There are also some restaurants around - we did not really try as we were mostly going for lunch to Playa Blanca which has way more options. The main building with the bars and the restaurants is beautiful. The hotel is huge with pools, squares, a river, gardens. You can have nice walks in the evenings just inside the resort. Lots of facilities, lots of things to do around the hotel - the kids area with pool and pirates boat is great. The animation team and the mini disco was a big hit. The big pool is very nice, it was a bit chilly in March (water was around 20 C) but good for a quick swim. There is also a heated pool - around 27 C and the children pool is kept at 25 C. The food was very good - the buffet had lots of options, including fresh. We could always find a place outside pretty fast, even at max peak. We tried the Japanese and the Italian - both a nice change with tasty dishes. We had no problem booking them even if the hotel was pretty full. We were on half board, but the drinks were pretty reasonably priced. If you plan to stay for lunches it is certainly worth going all inclusive. Few things that could be improved: - the sink and the shower was clogged when we arrived but the staff fixed it in no time so it wasn't an issue; but a bit more quality check after preparing the room could prevent this - they keys are horrible. as soon as you keep them anywhere close to a mobile or a battery device they stop working and you need a trip to the reception - everything is extra - late checkout is 10 euro per hour, etc - would be nice to have some of these extras included depending on availability But again - we had a great time and we would certainly consider this hotel again if in the area.

A lovely hotel! Despite reading mixed reviews, it surpassed our expectations. The entrance lobby was very impressive, and we were offered Cava whilst awaiting check-in. Our room was very large, overlooking the furthest pool, but with a seaview in the distance. The air con was very noisy, but the staff sorted it. Nothing was too much trouble. The grounds are massive, so it is easy to escape other people. One pool is heated, then the water goes across the hotel grounds via more pools, getting cooler, and ends up at the far end where it is a chill out area, (and pretty cold water!) We ate in the main restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The choice of food was amazing. We were both so impressed. We tried the Italian one night, but decided the buffet was much better. There even was lobster one night. (My hubby's favourite meal). Drinks were very reasonable, comparable with a local bar, not a 4/5 * hotel. The bistro served nice lunches, too, right next to the quiet pool. The kids club was operating, but not many kids there as it was term time. You can get to the lovely prom via a gate in the grounds, and walk to the port, or even the marina. Must mention the brilliant number 30 bus. Goes from outside the hotel every half hour, and costs 1 euro 40 to go all the way to the marina (well worth a visit). The staff worked extremely hard especially in the restaurant, and were very friendly and helpful. A really enjoyable stay. We would totally recommend this hotel.

“Lovely hotel”
Just returned from a lovely relaxing week at H10 Rubicon Palace in Playa Blanca. Beautiful hotel, great staff and lovely gardens. Piano Bar staff were exceptional especially Tony. Only slight let down was Dolce Vita restaurant as service wasn’t great.
