Clean and comfortable hotel, undergoing a lot of redecorating at the moment, but this was not intrusive. Clean and comfortable hotel, undergoing a lot of redecorating at the moment, but this was not intrusive. Certain things still need attention, eg outside steps need the edges marking as they're hard to see at night. Also, the entertainment stage area was shabby, just a ripped H10 flag at the back. It wouldn't cost much for a sparkly curtain! The food was good, buffet style, but with a few items freshly cooked each meal. Sometimes the buffet dishes weren't replenished when they ran out, which was a bit frustrating. The hotel is in a good position, close to local bars and entertainment if you fancy a change, and only a short walk to the beach. I would certainly consider booking again if we go back to Playa Blanca.

Return visit, no problems, two rooms as there were 3 of us. Clean throughout special thanks to maids, clean towels as requested, beds changed once. Food was great again, there must be some fussy folk out there as the choice is immense, we'll done to the restaurant staff. Very good stay again,… more

Positives : *Great location with lovely sea views. *Large resort type property with all the facilities. *Large comfortable rooms which are spotlessly clean *Excellent buffet restaurant with large selection and all presented beautifully. Quality of the food is exceptional. Within walking distance of shops and marina's Negatives : *We arrived after a long journey and they want to take a credit card which is normal. However we had to log on to mobile and log on and authorise pre payment plus sign a form to confirm we would be out of our room and various other things to sign for. *Receptionist didn't explain what the wrist band was for. *She told us to get the lift to our room (7001) but there are no lifts to this floor so it's a bit annoying that we had to go back to reception to find out there is no lift. No offer to help with our luggage either. *The key to our room malfunctioned and on three occasions I had to get a new key programmed, again frustrating. *Our room was right opposite the hotel loading bay and refused point so from 6.00am there was allot of noise. *The front door of the bedroom needs to have better sealant. The winds were very high over the last few days and the wind made allot of noise and debris came through the open spaces around the door frame. * The buffet restaurant gets very busy and it's not a relaxing atmosphere and at times feels chaotic. * Lovely large Sofa but could have done with a couple of cushions. * No tissues in the rooms

Ok! So positives- beautiful immaculate hotel, spotlessly clean. We had 2 cloudy days so the heated pool was a god send. Can’t fault the standard of hotel. Now negatives- I hate to leave negatives but I think it does really help. My biggest issue was the restaurant- breakfast perfect lots of choice. Dinner- ummmm service terrible for a 4* got at table, then waited 10-15 mins for a drink (as this is only done by service) after managing to get the first drink, no one ever came back to see if we wanted another or were ok. (Had to flag them down) food and plates not replenished quick enough, dinner plates still on the table when eating dessert! Staff not friendly , the restaurant manager seems to just wonder around and not muck in or help. There was one guy who worked so hard and was about the only friendly one there. Please bear in mind this was only March! So not even height of the season. Rooms- very clean but only 2 plug sockets, and very minimal lighting in the living area. Cleaners were lovely and friendly. Would I visit again? NO. Purely on the service and staff interaction being very poor! As I say the hotel is beautiful though. Oh last thing we were half board, the wrist bands work as payment for drinks and you really don’t have a clue what you’re spending until you check out.
