Had a fantastic break in this lovely hotel. While the food, location, ammenities and all extras are very important in any hotel, the staff were the ones that made the difference for us, and probably why people go back to the same place. We tried the buffet and the 3 other restaurants, all a very positive experience. We did prefer La Graziosa but quality was really good in all. The buffet breakfast is propably the best one I have seen due to the extended variety. Many thanks to the staff in the Ginger bar, the restaurants, reception, the staff working behind the chicken, etc.. also Paula for offering your help always with a smile. It would be good if the hotel made sure customers were aware of the difficulty in booking the restaurants. Most of the customers we saw in the hotel were a bit older to what we have seen previously just to let people know. Overall a 5 star hotel with a 5 star experience and 10 Star staff ! Thanks and see you soon

We really enjoyed our week here. The food was delicious and there was so much choice. The avocado, mozzarella and tomato toasted sandwich served with sweet potato chips from the Ginger bar was so tasty. I have never slept on such a comfortable hotel bed and such gorgeous pillows too. The room was excellent we liked the lighting and colour scheme. Super shower too. It was cleaned thoroughly every day. I particularly appreciated the classes - zumba, stretches and pilates. The zumba class overlooked the beach so it was heavenly. The class instructors, Soraya, Dalyne and Armando were very professional and friendly. I even tried Spin for the first time. We love Lanzarote and its environmental vibe and the hotel green oasis in the lobby was beautiful and calming. I found the history tour around the hotel most interesting thank you Raquel. We will return to this beautiful hotel next year.

We came to the Meliá salinas to celebrate my 60th birthday… the hotel is in a beautiful spot close to the beach with its own beach access. The decor is gorgeous with a large lobby atrium open to the sky. Food was fantastic with I have to say the best buffet selection I have ever experienced!! We booked La Graciosa for the evening of my birthday and the food was outstanding!! We had cocktails in both the ginger bar and the shack and they were all excellent! We walked over to the reserve area but in all honesty couldn’t see what made it more premium apart from cushioned sun loungers and a breakfast area that got morning sunshine. All staff were very friendly but special thanks to Soraya 🤍 for a fantastic SUP Pilates class.. the perfect teacher 🤍 and to Carlos who always had a big smile…

*Sorry if this is lengthy. I'm trying to include all of the information I'd want to know* My friends & I came for a relaxing break just to spend time with each other, decompress & relieve stress. We were able to do that here because the ambiance allows for it. All the neutral tones provide that calming feeling you'd want. The crowd is more...mature. Many were the basic European couple or family & it looked like they were of retirement age. As an observation, there weren't very many of us mixed variety guest in the 30's range aside from us & a speckle of others. However, we weren't going for a party scene & we had each other so it wasn't a big deal. Many nights they had a live band & the Entertainment Coordinator (I wish I had his name) was great at hyping up the crowd to dance & enjoy the vibes. He was friendly and if he saw us during the day he gave us an update on the itinerary of the day and would make sure to invite to any event going on. There are three restaurants that require reservations so make those in advance if you can. We had help making adjustments to the reservations we had with many thanks to Carmen and Lucia! Also be mindful that La Graciosa has a tasting menu for dinner. The all you can eat had a pretty decent turnover of new food being replaced when it first opens but when they're about to close thats when you see the dregs of what's left. If I had to complain about that it would be some of the meats could be a bit more seasoned (more of a preference issue) & I would have wished they had longer time slots for each meal session instead of feeling rushed. I knocked off a star for the service (which would really be a 4.5) because: 1) we were not provided the rooms we requested but they tried to compensate by giving us access to both rooms. We were offered an upgrade in place of the room issue but it wouldn't have been comparable in space though it would have been a higher cost. 2) We didn't get quality CS from Rafael at the Shack. I had to go request for it and he seemed to have an attitude about that. Those two things didn't mess up our trip however. We still had a wonderful time. The rooms were cleaned daily, the mini bars filled once a day, the beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was cleaned and the showers had running hot water. In one of the rooms we had to figure out the ac because it seemed to not run the same way as the other but once we got it going, we were good. We were able to get assistance from the concierge for booking excursions and scheduling a car service for days when we had events to attend. We spoke to a few at the concierge and though I don't remember all the names, Elias, I think a Carlos, Lucia and Carmen all were extremely helpful many times. The resort is right on the beach front. It also allows you access to being able to walk along the beach front which has little shops and restaurants along their beach walk/boardwalk. Aside from the one staff member mentioned above all of the others we interacted with or came in contact with said hello, gave smiles, were willing to help of needed. They were all welcoming and I loved it. Even one night we returned to find a bottle and a nice card left in the room which I really appreciated. There were nights we sat up at the 24 hr bar just playing cards and uno and the staff at the bar would check on us and bring anything if we needed it. Also it was so hard finding gingerale on the island so thank you for having gingerale!! 💖 I really loved my time at this resort! We'd definitely return if in Lanzarote!
