Just returned had a fab holiday with my husband and 6yr old. Great hotel what made it was the entertainment guy Yohan he was absolutely amazing with my son. The team all worked hard and are all great getting everyone involved... see you soon Yohan and the team 🎤

The local resort staff were truly amazing! In a busy resort they made us feel like an important individual rather than just another tourist! Our original room was in the noisy part with music being played but when we asked to move they were fabulous and we ended up in a fantastic room. My wife is gluten free and had to order her food the night before when it arrived the food was large, hot and very well presented. They even gave us a bottle of fizz and chocolates when they found out it was my wife’s birthday. The resort is very spacious and beautiful as well as spotlessly clean. Easy access to the beach and other local shops. This is an amazing place to stay and we will return!

“Overall all, a lovely last minute gem”

Pools - plenty of sun loungers by both pools but towel reservations from early on. We sat by the quieter pool - lovely atmosphere and well staffed pool bar - rarely had to queue. Pools - plenty of sun loungers by both pools but towel reservations from early on. We sat by the quieter pool - lovely atmosphere and well staffed pool bar - rarely had to queue. Freezing water - the sea is much warmer and worth the 10 minutes walk. Location - Jabillo beach - very good snorkelling (we snorkel a lot). Cucharas beach - big beach so space for bat and ball etc; really good sand for building sandcastles - there’s often buckets spare in the hotel but worth bringing your own - they are 9 ish euros in the local shops. Food - there’s some absolute hidden gems; tuna tataki, roast duck, good quality chorizo, gambas and good manchego. Something decent every night if you’re prepared to look for it. The food is generally edible - not the best quality but we all found something we liked each night. Great for kids! Breakfast is equally variable but plenty of choice and omelettes cooked to order. Fruit is limited but there’s always a small selection each day. Room - hard beds but slept well, plenty of blankets and extra pillows delivered when requested. Kitchenette and fridge were a nice surprise. Balcony is a good size and well furnished. Room is tired, particularly the bathroom which had chips and damage to the toilet seat and mirror. Hot shower though and basic shower gel provided. Staff - work hard to make this a really well kept hotel. The grounds are spacious and well maintained and there are always plenty of staff around tidying up! Overall - would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a fairly basic 4 star. This is not a hotel with a range of a la carte restaurants and hand mixed cocktails do not come as standard! . Food is variable but decent if you are willing to look!

There were many good aspects of our recent stay at Los Zocos: the junior suite was well-equipped, the quality and variety of food was good, the pool areas were well-designed, fairly spacious and the staff in the dining areas were very pleasant and helpful. One major disappointment, though, was the wifi! During our first week, the wifi came and went a bit, but was generally available; however, after this, there was no wifi anywhere in the hotel complex. After a few days, I went to reception to enquire about this and was disappointed to be fobbed off. The member of staff informed me that a technician was investigating the problem and it would be sorted as quickly as possible: as we were leaving, three days later, it still hadn't been sorted! A four star hotel should, as a minimum, provide the services advertised: the fact that Los Zocos failed to provide wifi was very disappointing and detracted from the good aspects identified above.
