We were very concerned after reading the bad reviews. But please ignore them and make up your own minds if you’ve booked this hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted by lovely receptionists who explained everything about the hotel and gave us lots of information and our room cards. We are a family of 5 and our rooms were right next to each other with an internal joining door which was amazing. Yes rooms are dated but they are very well cleaned and absolutely massive. Clean towels and beds made every day and generally very comfortable. We were on the same floor as the reception and we found this very convenient and not at all noisy. The whole hotel is quite dated but we loved it, we knew what we were booking from the pictures so I’m not sure why others find the dated interior such a shock. It’s a beautiful hotel none the less. Entertainment was brilliant, quiz nights, karaoke and circus acts, my family loved it. Swimming pool was incredible, yes there is what seems to be a stampede for sun loungers in the mornings, everyone waits for half an hour to be let through and then runs for the sun loungers. The annoying thing is they put towels on and leave for most of the morning. There’s definitely not enough sun loungers but we went down each morning and joined the mayhem and managed to get 5 together. Breakfast every morning was brilliant, it’s your standard all inclusive buffet with lots of choice. The food at the snack bar wasn’t great to be honest but you would never go hungry, what people fail to remember is you’re in a foreign country and you have to adapt to different food. Lunch in the main restaurant was slightly different, lots of choice and again not the best but always something to eat. We did struggle at dinner time. We found ourselves just eating chips for dinner the first 2 nights so decided to eat out a couple of times at dinner after that. Drinks were standard all inclusive, different cocktails and although there were queues they all went down quick enough. The walk to town is about 20 minutes, not too bad, we did it a few times and there’s lovely beach and restaurants down there. All in all we really enjoyed our stay, if your reading the reviews and feeling put off then don’t be, look at the pictures, do a little research on the area and make your own mind up. The photos aren’t misleading, that’s how it is here, we enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

we stayed at the beatriz hotel for 1 week mid july 2024. on arrival the staff were very nice at reception and we had arrived late due to our flight being delayed. we were offered a cold dinner that i served at 11pm as we had missed the usual evening meal, this wasn’t very suitable for vegetarian options but fine enough for those who do eat meat. we checked out our room before this and so think the rooms are slightly dated, but suitable for just sleeping in although the beds are extremely uncomfortable as well as the bedding. the balcony and bathroom were great, very clean and nice view of the pool area. the food at the hotel is very hit or miss, some days/nights are great and others are not (just something to keep in mind for vegetarians as they like to add meat into a lot of their vegetables). the hotel is in dire need of air conditioning as it is extremely hot 24:7, the rooms do offer air conditioning but you may as well open the balcony door for better ventilation. the pool are is great, 3 pools mini golf and tennis area although we did not use these so can’t give a review on those. night time entertainment is also hit or miss, there is something on everything night including kids mini disco (is very good but only last about 15/20 mins or so) the singers, karaoke night and huddling/acrobatic acts were great. this hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the local spar and aquarium. and a further 5/10 minute walk from stalls and the beach we found these quite easy to find. there are a lot of local excursion stalls near by also, a lot of them pick you up via the hotel and drop you back off. overall the experience we had was good and we enjoy tour holiday and our stay. keep points to follow if you are looking to book at this hotel 1. bring an electric fan or something of the sort as the hotel is extremely hot the entire time. 2. breakfast and lunch are a lot quieter than evening meal time as expected however people can be very pushy and shovey so would abuse getting there as it opens or wait a short while and then dine as busy times are extremely busy. 3. arrive early for sun beds (9am) or wait until after 4/5pm when it gets quieter as there are limited beds, unless you book premium at the hotel then you have separate sun beds to use that are barely used. 4. do not book here if you are looking for a hotel next to the beach, even though the nearest beach is approx 15 ish mins away the beach isnt the best and very busy. hope this review helps!

“Ok hotel, not the best”

Not the best hotel, never been able to get a sun bed while we’ve been here people are like a herd of cattle in the morning getting them. We were sun bathing on our balcony most of the time. Used the free shuttle bus to go back & for to town. Food ok but not the best. Plenty of nice restaurants... more

Not the best hotel, never been able to get a sun bed while we’ve been here people are like a herd of cattle in the morning getting them. We were sun bathing on our balcony most of the time. Used the free shuttle bus to go back & for to town. Food ok but not the best. Plenty of nice restaurants in town & cheap €3.90 for a breakfast & it was lovely.
