Myself and my partner visited The Beatriz between 06/11/24-13/11/24. We had read many reviews but instead of being worried sick.... saw for ourselves, what can I say? Each and every member of staff were polite, friendly, hardworking and couldn't do enough to help. Yes the Hotel is a bit dated but it is clean, comfortable and spectacular to look at. Not a single bug or nasty seen anywhere ( perhaps we weren't walking around with a magnifying glass actively looking)? I have Crohns Disease and found plenty of good hot food choice at EVERY meal. Easy 20 minute walk to the beach but a cab back around €5. Our room was cleaned with fresh linen daily and the maid was very smiley and friendly always with a "good morning" we are already planning a return in June. Once again all staff exceptionally friendly ( perhaps you get what you give?) In closing, don'f listen to Mr and Mrs misery, we'll look for money back problems lol go, see for yourself and make your own minds up. Thank you

Our family of 6 (64, 59, 36, 34, 6 & 4 years old) have recently returned from a weeks stay at The Beatriz. We've visited Costa Teguise well over 10 times in the last 20 years with our groups varying in size, ages and holiday types, so are quite well travelled in this area. Hotel Beatriz wows on arrival with amazing displays of plants and great views. Our check in was straight forward, and from drop off to getting into the rooms was less than 20 minutes. The rooms, as reviews suggest, are a bit dated. They are also absolutely adequate for what was needed. They were tidy, clean, had a kettle in both rooms with tea and coffee available, and a minibar fridge to store any chilled goods. Air conditioning available and functional in both rooms. Many reviews mentioned bed bugs, ants and cockroaches - we had none of these in our rooms, though did see a couple of cockroaches in the piano bar area. As cockroaches live on Lanzarote, this was expected, and was dealt with immediately. The hotel has many up/down areas with both ramps and steps. The older guests in the party managed absolutely fine with these, and there are lifts available if needed. The pool area was clean with plenty of sunbeds available. A single pool bar to service the whole hotel seemed a bit underwhelming, but only once in the week did we have to queue. A downfall was the snacks in the pool bar. We were all inclusive, so assumed snacks were available all day, but the children were turned down for ice cream at certain times, and the sandwiches and fruit often ran out. One of the pools, all of which are salt water pools, was heated! This is the first heated pool we've had in Lanzarote, and it made a massive difference! The pool was never empty during the day, a first for me! The restaurant was lovely, and as a group of 6 we did struggle on a few occasions to get a table to fit us all. This was quickly remedied by the staff would would either move tables together or open the extra room to the side that had larger capacity tables. The food was amazing - a different theme every day, but always had simple food like soups, pork chops, sausages, pizzas, amazing salad bars etc, which was a great fall back if that day didn't fit our taste. Our evenings began at the piano bar that opened at 6pm, after the pool bar closed. full range of drinks at the bar (in the "stick house" as our 4 year old called it!) from beers and ciders to cocktail, mocktails and hot and cold soft drinks. The downstairs entertainment area and bar were a little bit in need of brightening up with carpets showing wear and seats/tables a bit wobbly, but this barely affected us. Evening entertainment was also fantastic. Mini disco for the kids every night, even when it was only our 2 taking part! The entertainment that followed the mini disco was different every night and always worth watching for a great evening. There absolutely has to be a special mention to Connell (sorry if I've spelt that wrong!) who was absolutely amazing with the kids and adults alike. The energy was entirely different when he was around, and is certainly a credit to the hotel. Our 2 still talk about him!! Overall 4/5. Would benefit from a bit of updating in places and making the snacks in the pool bar more available. We enjoyed this holiday so much, we're already booked to go back in February.

This is a honsent review we have been here 2 times before 5 years ago and can honestly say gone down hill badly let me tell you good points we think this place could be amazing if someone put money into it carpets are terrible stained curtains are torn old worn out no Christmas tree in reception when we look back on photos 5 years ago this place has changed so much .food is good can be Luke warm at times but always plenty to choose from staff are lovely but our bedroom has push in beds we had to complain and yes thicker mattress was put in but we paid stupid money for this place .pool area lovely but heated pool is freezing they do 5 min clean in our rooms the dust it thick everywhere in this hotel which is such a shame as beautiful looking hotel .definitely no way this is 4 star if you get this cheap then worth it but we paid top money thinking it was as good as it was 5 years ago sad to say definitely wouldn't come back.
