If you're looking for a relaxed and enjoyable stay, I can't recommend Galeon Playa enough! First off, the staff are incredible—so friendly and helpful. Tania at reception deserves a special mention—she’s an absolute gem, always smiling and ready to assist with anything you need. It really sets the tone for the whole place! The rooms and facilities are spotless, they keep everything super clean, which made me feel really comfortable during my stay. The breakfast? Wow. It's amazing! So much variety and everything is fresh. Perfect way to start the day before heading out to explore. All in all, Galeon Playa is a great choice for anyone looking for a well-maintained place with excellent service.

The hotel is well located and all the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are really big. The only downside with a standard room is they look out on where some people were playing football until 11pm some evenings but very quiet in the morning compared to other hotels and some nights it was fine. The more expensive rooms do not have this problem. The location is good and the little beach nearby is beautiful and great for children. We found the heated pool to not be as warm as we would have liked.The kids clubs was great and our little girl loved the mini disco. We were breakfast only but ended up eating quite bit at the hotel restaurant because we found that the food was nice and varied.

We stayed at the Galeon Playa just before the UK half term holidays. The location is great as its just far enough away to not hear any of the hassle and bustle of the main street but also close enough to walk to them. We stayed in a one bed apartment, everything was clean and we had enough utensils etc for the three of, we ate out most nights and ate breakfast and sandwiches in the room which was ideal. No air con but to be honest the breeze at night leaving the windows open made it comfortable to sleep. The only downside was that we were above the Atlantic bar which played music during the busier nights until 12am, which made it harder to sleep with the windows open. Had we not needed the windows open, it would have been almost silent as they do have good soundproofing. The chairs in the apartments could do with some buffers on the bottom of the legs as you can hear them scrap across the floor tiles in the apartment above, again not a huge issue. Pool area is clean and there are enough sun beds, space can be an issue around the main pool but the adults pool was often quiet so you could get a space very easily. We didn't need the parasols as they didn't offer much shade until later in the day anyway. Staff are friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble when we needed a blanket, taxi booking for us and late check out sorting. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone with families who enjoy a relaxed atmosphere 😎
