We are two couples in our 50's /60's and we had a great holiday!!! We both booked suites which overlooked the main pool and found them to be clean and spacious with maid service every other day . All the staff were extremely friendly and courteous and were always happy and smiley . We found the food in the restaurant although a limited choice was always hot and there was always something we liked to eat ,the breakfast in particular was very good!! The staff in the restaurant are very welcoming and the restaurant manager is a lovely chap who went above and beyond when my husband had sunstroke and asked the chef to make something I could take back to the room for him . The hotel is central to the resort and everything we needed was within a 10/15 walk. The only reason we wouldn't book again is it's more of a family hotel and having no children with us would prefer an adult only hotel ,however if taking the grandchildren wouldn't hesitate. Thanks for a lovely 10 day stay !!!

“Good value for money. Very clean hotel”

We got a great deal through ‘On the beach’ for this hotel (we have stayed here twice before). We went self catering as we prefer to eat out every night. The hotel is very clean and all areas are well kept. The pool area is also clean and tidy and although it’s not a heated pool, you acclimatise very quickly. The staff are very friendly and nothing is a problem. The self catering accommodation is basic but everything that you would need. The hotel has a great location and is only a short 5 minute walk from the main square. We would definitely return.

Currently still here holding onto our sunbeds it's that windy, first of all the hotel is fine it's what you'd expect from a 3* no better, no worse. Entertainment wise it's a bit sombre, not much going on in the day and at night it's not much better, 30 min kids dancing/disco (same each night) and then 30-45 mins entertainment after that quiz, singer, drag artist ect. Pool bar open till 5 but isnt inviting to sit in when the weather isnt the best, main bar shut in the day and only opens at 8 so don't expect any drinks in between these time unless you buy them from the supermarket. Even when the England game was on the bar opened exactly at 8pm. Only ate in the buffet once and it was OK, not much choice and won't eat there again. Atmosphere again is quite sombre and quiet, we went for a walk in the day and even around the area it seemed a lot was shut in the day and the stuff that was open wasn't busy or inviting. Not somewhere we would come back to on the impressions we have. Having said the poor points, the good points are the location, the bars and restraunts are literally 5 mins walk away, the beach is not far either and the staff are friendly. If you are thinking of booking looking for a lively hotel with plenty happening for the kids I'd seriously look at somewhere else.

Just stayed at the Galeon Playa and it was ok. The apartments are a good size and everything you need. They could be doing with a little upgrade and they could be cleaned better however the maids are super lovely. The wifi in the rooms aren’t great. My daughter had tonsillitis (not apartments fault) but when you need to stay in the room for a period having that is a must. The shower also wasn’t the best. Trickled out and it was either roasting hot or cold. There is also no air con which I didn’t know so should have researched a bit more. An electric fan is provided but it’s not the best however there was a strong breeze outside most days and because of this the kids area which is closer to the sea at the back you couldn’t really sit around there and that’s where the kids pool, play park and club is. I can’t comment on the kids club as we never used it. The entertainment staff are lovely. The bar in the hotel was our most expensive round of drinks lol…..€15 for 2 drinks. The wee bar around the corner charges us €13 for 3 beers and a vodka so that’s a massive difference. The hotel is in a great location, the supermarket is across from the apartments and you’re a walk away from bars & restaurants. I loved the chilled aspect of Costa Teguise however just a tad quiet for me so would maybe choose a different resort the next time. All in all for the money paid it wasn’t too bad.
