“Great holiday”

pefect location.... we had a great time here. food was lovely, always plenty of choice. everywhere was clean and tidy. The entertainment team were lovely, always doing somthing somewhere in the hotel. bar staff were always plesant...restaurant team were ok. well worth a visit to this hotel... ye... more

The entertainment team were lovely, always doing somthing somewhere in the hotel. bar staff were always plesant...restaurant team were ok. well worth a visit to this hotel... yes a few furnishings were a little dated but then it is a 3*. The only thing was the pool was cold. 3 of our group went in the pool 2 or 3 times the 2 weeks we were there normally we'd be in 2 to 3 times a day at least. brenna the Tui rep was so helpful and give us all the information we needed and recommended and advised us on trips.

What a brilliant hotel! - Food was delicious, especially the fresh salads and plenty of choice for the gluten intolerant and vegetarians in our group. - Rooms are basic but clean and perfect for a 3* hotel. - The entertainment team are brilliant with the children, especially Freya who is just born to do this job!! - Fab location, close to beach, bars, shops, restaurants and the Aquarium. - Reception extremely helpful when we needed to contact a Dr, talking Spanish on the phone for us and giving us directions. Also they were more than happy to book taxis for us. Only ever so small downsides: - Pools are absolutely freezing, coldest I've ever experienced abroad so you definitely need to put your big girl pants on to go in. - The pre mixed cocktails are rubbish, very syrupy however plenty of choice on spirits, wine, beer, hot and soft drinks. This is our second visit and we'd definitely be happy to return again :)

We were a family of 2 adults and 4 children aged 2, 9, 12 and 15. Staying in El Trebol for 2 weeks. Check in was very smooth. Even though the majority of our bus got out at the same time. We were given 2, 1 bedroom apartments. I had emailed in advance and requested that they be next to eachother, which they were thankfully. We were located in the block behind the pool bar on the second floor. We arrived after 9pm and the restaurant was opened for us and there was breads, salads, cold meat etc. It was perfect. It's a large complex so it took some time to get used to everything. There are 4 pools. 1 saltwater and 1 with a mini splash park. Plenty of loungers also. Umbrellas aren't plentiful but we could get shade under some trees. The pool closes at 6pm and the whole area is hosed down and cleaned each evening. The pool bar is open all day. Choices of breakfast items in the morning and then burgers/hot dogs/chips/ice cream for the rest of the day. As well as beer, fizzy drinks, juice etc. All self-service. Buffet restaurant is a different theme each night. Some themes better than others depending on your tastes. Food is exactly what you'd expect for all inclusive, average. Lots of fresh salad. Popular items like, pizza, chips are taken very quickly and replenishment can be extremely slow. Often lots of empty dishes or people queuing and waiting for them to be refilled. Self service drinks which also often run out and takes time to be refilled. In the 2 weeks, there was only one occasion we couldn't find a table and had to wait. We went out to eat a couple of times over the holiday. La Otra across from Spar and El Maestro were both lovely. Mi Piace at the end of the road was by far the best. Spar is open until 10pm and has all the essentials. We got a taxi into Puerto del Carmen at a cost of €35 each way. We also went to Teguise market at €25 each way. Would recommend getting there for 9am to beat the massive crowds. Although most stalls sell the same items! Reception ordered the taxi for us each time. We used the washing machine on site at €5 per use. Tokens available at reception. The reps put in loads of effort. Lots of games etc throughout the day. They are great girls. Evening entertainment starts at 8pm with the kids mini disco. Followed by some type of quiz and then the main show at 9.30. Some of the entertainment isn't great for kids, namely the outside acts. The Boys vs Girls night is great fun as is the music bingo. Cleaners are all very polite and friendly. Rooms cleaned every day but clean towels only every 3 days and sheets once a week. All the staff are so so helpful and friendly. A really great family holiday, would highly recommend.

Just returned home after a 2 week stay. Food was good with a different theme each night. The entertainment at night wasn't the best but the team did try their best. Plenty of sunbeds available on a day but still have some people reserving beds from 5am ish to get the best spots. Cleaners were very good however on their days off a brush in the room would be good to keep the floors clean. The air conditioning is only available in the bedroom and is ok. The living room area where our daughter slept got very stuffy on a night so we ended up buying a fan as it would have cost €60 for the 2 weeks to hire one which to me was very expensive. We did really enjoy our time and have booked to come back again next year.
