We stayed in November across 2 apartments, one for my Mum and Dad and one for my husband, my toddler and I. I was so pleasantly surprised by this stay, I knew the apartments were going to be clean and in a good location thanks to the previous reviews, but the service was just fantastic and we felt so at home at El Guarapo. The lovely ladies who cleaned our apartments (as well as serve food etc) were absolutely amazing with our little boy, they were always so friendly and warm and kind to him. The reception staff were very knowledgable, approachable and friendly. We didn’t have bed and breakfast but we did eat breakfast at the pool bar multiple times, the food was great and coffees also nice. Our boy enjoyed a nice vanilla milkshake! The rooms were clean and had everything we needed during our weeks stay. The complex itself is very well taken care of, there are people looking after the gardens, pool and rest of the apartments all the time and they clearly all work really hard. Every single person we came across was very friendly. We LOVED our apartment, apartment 14G. It was perfect for a family being on the ground floor, and far enough away from the pool that it felt private. We enjoyed a drink on the terrace in an evening. Location is excellent with a short walk to Playa Bastian, and a little further to the main square. You can catch a bus from Playa Bastian bus stop to Teguise market on a Sunday very easily. Also to add - if anyone is reading who stayed between 25th Nov-2nd Dec - all the other guests were so lovely to our boy (I think we were the only family with a child during this week) and we couldn’t be more thankful. We had such a good time and I think this was partly due to the really relaxed feel around the pool. If and when we ever return to Costa Teguise, we will be staying at El Guarapo :) thank you again for such a lovely stay. We’re really missing it. X

One year on and yet another great stay at El Guarapo. WhatsApp excahange ahead of our arrival was informative, Natalia welcomed us and admin was completed with minimal delay. So pleased that we had been allocated our favourite first floor apartment as we requested. The apartment contained all we needed for comfort and for making breakfast and snacks if required (we ate out every evening). Plenty of space, storage, kitchen utensils and appliances and a comfortable bed with mattress topper and good bed linen. Shower was excellent with a good supply of piping hot water as the apartment has its own water heater/boiler so you aren't impacted by other guests using supplies. Air conditioning not required as windows can be opened to keep a good air flow. The pool area is cleaned daily, there are some new umbrellas and we never had issues with sunbeds although we don't tend to spend more than a couple of hours there at a time and not on a daily basis as there are plenty of walks and other places to visit. Pool itself was cool on windier days but I could tell that there was underlying heating to take the extreme cold away. The whole complex is relaxed and quiet with some soft music playing from the bar when that is open - nothing intrusive. El Guarapo is not Adults Only but there is not really much for children here other than the pool. We always book dates outside of UK school holidays so encounter few problems with poolside noise - if you want a lively holiday with your youngsters then this may not be the place for you, if you want a quiet holiday then check your dates and avoid school holiday time. Cleaning ahead of arrival was thorough, during our stay towels were changed every other day when the apartment was also given an interim clean (bathroom cleaned, floor mopped, bins emptied) Bed linen changed half way through our 10 day stay. Easy to keep tidy between times as you would probably do at home - this is not a 5 star luxury hotel so expectations should be set accordingly! The location of El Guarapo is excellent being close to Playa Bastian, a selection of good restaurants, supermarkets, bus stop and an easy 10 minute stroll from the centre of the action in CT. We see no reason to look for alternative accommodation when we next visit Costa Teguise. Thanks to all concerned

“Lovely place to stay”

We booked this as a last-minute couple of weeks of winter sun. It was part of a package holiday with Jet2. We enjoyed our stay. We booked bed & breakfast and self-catered the rest of the time. The breakfasts were excellent. The rooms and the whole site were very clean and tidy. The beds very comfortable. All the staff were helpful and friendly. We were 10 minutes from the centre of Costa Teguise, which was meant it was quiet and peaceful but close to cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, and shops. The only downside was that the internet was poor. It needs to be updated and extended to reach the apartments not close to the reception area.

“Nice But We Wouldn't Return”

Whilst our apartment was clean and tidy. We had replacement towels every 2 days ans sheets changed once a week. The only problems we had is when we pulled the sheets back at the end of our holiday to find that our king size bed was in fact 2 beds inside a frame and a mattress topper placed on top,… more

Whilst our apartment was clean and tidy. We had replacement towels every 2 days ans sheets changed once a week. The only problems we had is when we pulled the sheets back at the end of our holiday to find that our king size bed was in fact 2 beds inside a frame and a mattress topper placed on top, in addition it was stained as were the 2 mattresses. If we had found this when we arrived I would have asked to be moved. The other problem was electricians were working on the out door lights and during our 2nd week the lights in the garden/pool are would trip the fuse and left the areas around the apartments in total darkness.
