Can't really fault our experience at Blue Sea as we had the best time, we stayed in room A109 for for 5 days, our room was clean and tidy and located in a great spot. Rooms are basic but comfortable and very spacious. The only critiques I have was the shower head didn't hang properly it just kept spinning and didn't fit in the bracket correctly, the pillows weren't the best and the food wasn't as hot as I'd liked and no British channels on the tv which was dissappointing.. The staff are friendly helpful and can't do enough the entertainment lady was brilliant, but DILLON is one In a million, this young guy works so hard and nothing is too much he's so polite and goes above and beyond he is a credit the Blue Sea and I just hope they appreciate what a great guy he is. Both Dillon and the life guard I salute you both for your strength quick and selfless actions during the horrendous situation which occurred during our stay your actions as well as some of us guest will be never be forgotten..... I would highly recommend Blue Sea I'll definatley be returning, great location, beach, shops, bars restaurants all within walking distance Costa Teguise is beautiful. Thanks for a great holiday Blue Sea 👍👍👍😊

Firstly, the hotel is 3 star, so you should expect a 3 star experience. Don't expect a 5 star experience from a 3 star hotel. Good bits : The staff were friendly and helpful without exception, definitely the nicest I've encountered in the canaries. We were also impressed by the food, I'm a fussy eater but the selection and quality was better than expected (remembering that it's 3 star). The rooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. Things to be aware of: The room could have been cleaned better, but it was ok, it didn't bother us enough to make a fuss. The pool area is quite small but again that's more of an observation than a complaint, it didn't cause us any issues. The animation team seemed to be only one person so there wasn't a lot of entertainment compared to other hotels I've stayed at but not a big issue for us as we were mostly elsewhere in the daytime. Overall: We liked it very much and would consider staying there again if we went back to Costa Teguise. I can't stress enough how nice the staff were, they are a credit to the hotel. It's 3 star and you do get what you pay for but we'd recommend it as long as you don't expect the 5 star experience.

“Honest review - Family stay”

Visited as a family of 3, with a 3 year old. Staff - friendly and helpful Food - edible, the one of the worst all inclusive hotel buffets we’ve visited. We had to eat so we found something to eat untimatley. Meats consisted of pork and fish, nothing else. We ate chips each night and salad. We didn’t come with high hopes after readying reviews, but it really wasn’t great. Our toddler ate the same thing every night, no choice for kids. Rooms - Clean but basic, large and spacious. TV has no English channels. WiFi in the rooms ok (if you have an Apple phone, you need to go onto the internet and type in WiFi safe.co and it will work). Shower was good and powerful and FairPlay the hairdryer was good. Beds so uncomfortable, and at 7 months pregnant found it very uncomfortable, we then decided to put the sofa bed mattress on top and that did make it more comfortable. Great fan in the bedroom we didn’t feel like we needed aircon. We stayed in B block ground floor, unfortunately had a awful group of boys above us, kept us awake until early hours and we didn’t really feel safe. Unfortunately reception did nothing about this. Pool - Very small and cold as we expected. We didn’t really use it as we went down the beach everyday. Unfortunately the guests and thier language wasn’t suitable for a toddler to bee around everyday. Sunbeds locked until 10am. Activities - Didn’t attend the night shows, so can’t comment. But absolutely nothing to do for toddlers or kids, our little was disappointed there was no mini disco, first All inclusive we’ve ever been to with no mini disco. Bar - Very slow, and you need to pay 1 euro each to have a reusable plastic cup. What we did find pretty minging that the cup wasn’t changed once during our 10 day stay, when we asked for it to be. Pretty gross. Location - About a 20 min walk to the smirking beach, down hill on the way and slight wind uphill on the way back. As they’ve closed the front path off you’ve got to take the long way around so it’s just over 1 mile 1 way. Shop on site is fine, but closest super market is about a 15 min walk. Unfortunately we wouldn’t return to this hotel. We are not picky travellers but unfortunately to many things let this hotel down for us.
