“Family Holiday”

Holiday with my daughter & family. Ideal location - 10 minute walk from town. 5 minutes from a supermarket. Lovely clean rooms, good facilities for all the family. Would recommend.

Stayed here in a superior studio apartment for 4 nights. Rooms are clean and modern and cleaned every 2 days. As our stay was before 16 June we had to pay €3 euro a day for air con. Food is good but make sure you check your bill as it can sometimes be wrong but think this is down to language barriers more than anything else. You can walk to the resort centre in about 20 mins but there is a bus stop at the end of the road and 2 huge supermarkets close by. Overall a nice stay but probably wouldn’t stay again just because of the location.

Stayed for 7 nights on a Jet2 package, 1 x one bed superior apartment for 3 adults and 1 x studio superior room for one adult and a toddler, all on bed & breakfast basis. I’ll share a number of points that I wish I had read in other reviews before booking as it would have definitely helped set expectations and/or make a decision on whether to book a stay here. The apartments/rooms were available when we arrived at midday which was a plus and meant we could get straight into enjoying our holiday. The rooms were quiet and on first and third floors not close despite a request but we accept this isn’t always possible. The one bed apartment appeared to have been made up for two people and when we attended reception to advise that our adult daughter had no bed, we were told just to pull out the sofa ourselves and the bed was made up in there?! How fresh was this bedding? Not overly impressed! The one bed apartment is split with sliding door and the bathroom is accessed from the bedroom side, the pull out bed obstructs access to the balcony quite a bit. Safety deposit boxes are €20 for a week with €5 refund for the key. Air con worked in both living area and bedroom. Beds were comfortable so got a decent sleep, but a few things would make these rooms ‘superior’ in my view - no hand soap provided in the bathroom, bought some from the local supermarket. Even the most basic hotels these days have wall mounted soap dispensers! There was a dish towel available in the small kitchenette area but no washing liquid, not always expected so I take some! The rooms are only serviced every second day so we got three cleans with clean towels and toilet rolls over our week but one evening, half way through our week, there was a very bad rain shower that carried a dusty sand residue that covered the whole outside space (balcony) this wasn’t cleaned and left this practically unusable! Cleans could have been more frequent but the overall feel from this small complex is there are very few staff around. The morning after the dusty rainfall the older gentleman owner, who is always very pleasant was power washing the pool area, but this was being done at 10am when people wanted to start using loungers, this could really have been done much earlier to minimise guest impact. The biggest disappointment for us was having breakfast included when we really would have been better being self catering! Firstly having breakfast served 10-12 is quite ridiculous! Especially with a toddler, and then when you do go for breakfast there are no buffet options like cereal, yogurt, pastries or self service tea coffee or juice! You can choose one item from the limited set menu and one hot drink and one juice, no refills and no mixing options! The drinks take an age to arrive aswell. We are not greedy people but having the ability to pick and choose is always important to us and sets us up for the day. After the first day we realised we needed to buy breakfast items in from the supermarket to ensure we could have cereal or croissant with a juice before going for ‘brunch’ not breakfast! So B&B is an absolute false economy at this accommodation. We also missed out on breakfast because of the times on two occasions, once when we wanted to go and get the tourist train from the town centre as it leaves at 1030am and it’s a 20min walk and then again the morning we left to return home as our pick up was at 915am, 10 breakfasts paid for and not received through no fault of our own! They will do a picnic breakfast made up of a small water, an apple and a dry white bread sandwich of processed cheese and spam! DO NOT bother including breakfasts! The pool facilities were great for the toddler in our party and the pool bar perfectly acceptable, always managed to find a few loungers and a parasol together, but it was getting busier when we left. Entertainment was just good old fashioned fun for all the family. Our favourite area was by the Marina and round another 5 mins to Santa Eulalia beach which was a good 20 minute walk, once you manage to get off the busy road it’s a pleasant enough walk to bars, restaurants and this bigger sandier beach. It’s just on the verge of being too far with a hungry toddler! But the only option to eat outside of the hotel which offers mediocre food. There is also a coastal path walk which is not buggy friendly. We made the most of our stay, but overall we would visit Santa Eulalia again, however not this accommodation due to the negative points noted.

Complex is located in quiet suburb of Santa Eularia so quite a walk into the town centre. Quiet location near 2 supermarkets and a 10 minute walk to the coast. Handy for bus stop to airport. Restaurant on site but none near by. Booked a superior apartment which was large but basic. No noise until the last night. Need to be on top floor to get a sea view. Adults only roof top pool area was lovely.
