“Ibiza and friends”

Very good hotel, nice and big rooms, very clean and delicious breakfast! I went with my friends and we enjoyed the animation in the night with Nico, the entertainment guy, he is amazing! The guys from the bar also really nice, specially Jose Caraballo, thank you!

Slightly disappointed on arrival as our plane was late due to the bad weather at Stanstead, we didn’t arrive till 10.45, only to be told the bar is about to shut and there was no food provision, not what you want after a long day! We found the room to be clean but basic a sofa would have been an asset. There wasn’t anywhere you could easily dry towels and swim gear as a notice said don’t hang stuff on the balcony railing maybe a little pull out line would be helpful. I’m a light sleeper and we got woken up every morning at 4am when the inconsiderate guests came back from partying. The maid did a great job every day which we appreciated. The pool had notices not to reserve sun beds but this was largely ignored and not enforced. The pool itself was very cold but just about bearable! (Sea was warmer) drinks were typically AI fairly sweet and not overly strong. The food had a good selection but rarely had any that was hot unless you waited for whatever the chef cooked on the griddle. I have several food intolerances but managed to find something suitable. The location was great for a walk around the bay to catch the sunsets and vibes of San Antonio. The entertainment we saw started at 9.45 until 11pm and it was all very good if a little late! The lady receptionist was very helpful and told where to catch buses to go to different parts of the island which we did quite successfully. The beach itself was not stunning but the beautiful clear water was wonderful. All in all the hotel is clean and friendly but just noisy in the night as people return!

The hotel itself is clean as are the rooms although very basic. Breakfast OK, food cold most mornings. I felt the need to write a review as i was disappointed within the first hour of arriving here due to what i feel was a lack of care. Upon booking this hotel i was not given an option to pay or even request one of the sea view rooms (i would have chosen one if i'd had the option) So i emailed the hotel directly after booking and asked that we be considered for a sea view room as we were celebrating our 40th birthday along with our wedding anniversary. We have visited ibiza many times and i just felt this would really make our trip special. I was told we would be able to have one subject to availability which i was happy enough with and understood. When we arrived we did not have a sea view room so when i queried i was told I'd need to pay 27 euros extra per day. I showed the receptionist the email response I'd received and explained that it said subject to availability, not subject to an extra charge! He tried to say they had none available which was just untrue as shortly after a couple came down to pay the 27 euros and upgrade their room, there were "plenty available". So i felt that they just wanted the extra money, no consideration for our double celebration or the fact id emailed the hotel directly after bookign to check. It would have gone a long way to have been assigned a sea view room for our visit given that they did have some available and given our celebrations / prior contact with the hotel etc. It's a shame as i wouldnt stay here again because the customer service sucked, but did like the location in the bay and felt it was fairly priced.
