Bus stop opposite hotel to Ibiza town, only 4 euros each. Pool area clean, pool was very cold but our stay was at beginning of April so expected. Would stay here again.

“Not the best”

Great location. Great bar area on the ground floor. Rooms basic but clean. Layout of the hotel felt a bit like a borstal. Really noisy! Great location. Great bar area on the ground floor. Rooms basic but clean. Layout of the hotel felt a bit like a borstal. Really noisy! Not the hotel’s fault of course but listening to troupes of stomping, clattered clubbers dragging furniture about and playing god-awful music at 3am wasn’t the best experience. It’s San Antonio so kind of expected some noise but the behaviour of some idiots is mind blowing. Breakfast was horrendous. Sorry but it was. Coffee like soil, horrible juice, just horrible. Didn’t bother after the first morning. Location is brilliant so a good no frills base but not one for a quiet get away.

This was our fourth time staying in this accommodation. It's always been a bright airy room we've had previously. The service has always been impeccable. Although after this time I would consider staying in other accommodations next time. The first room we got had another hotel looking in and down on our balcony. The room also had no nets on the windows, so we would have had to have kept the curtains closed the whole time. The room was dark as the other hotel was literally about 15ft away. There was a group of lads on their balcony looking right into our room. Which i was not happy about.( nothing to do with the lads it was the lack of privacy) We like to spend the evening on the balcony reading a book and having a drink. We spoke to the lady at reception who wasn't very helpful, she made us feel that it was an inconvenience to have highlighted an issue, also the fact we return every year didn't seem to make any difference. She finally seen that i was getting visibly upset, she moved us to block 2. The balcony was private and the sun was coming in but there was also the option of the net curtains closed on the window. The room was so much better than the first. I've always returned as i love the vibe round the pool, the onsite supermarket and its location but the reception really let it down this year. The air conditioning wasn't great this time either The one constant every time we go, is the life guard/ pool attendant. He is fantastic, nothing is ever a bother and he can't do enough for everybody. Other guests we were talking to were saying the same. He would be the main reason to return to Puchet but as we go every year to Ibiza i think i would probably reconsider and maybe go with a different hotel next time.

I travelled here in August with a friend and this hotel is nothing more than average. I had emailed the hotel ahead of arrival to explain that we would be arriving around 1pm, and on arrival was informed our room was not available. I appreciate that check in is not until 3pm, but the hotel were aware we were arriving early and it would have been nice to have had access to our room. Furthermore, at check in we were given no information which would have been helpful (for example, WiFi password was not given, and we were not told what time the gate or certain doors into the hotel were locked for the night). The aircon in the room is horrendous! We had this on continually and it was only slightly effective on day 5 if you stood directly under the vent. We asked the hotel reception for help with this several times (asked if any fans were available or if somebody could come double check it was actually working), but we were continually dismissed “come back this afternoon” / “come back tomorrow”. I did not believe the hotel staff were happy to help at all. On arrival to the hotel, I noticed stains on the bedding. I do not think these were a result of unchanged bedsheets, but rather just marked old bedsheets which should have been binned. Our bedsheets were not changed once during the week. There were also some marks on the furniture (looked like juice marks) which again were there when we checked in and still there at the end of our trip. The room and cleaning regime could have definitely been better. The location of the hotel is OK - approx 15/20 mins to the main part of San Antonio which we just walked daily but there is a taxi rank right outside the hotel. There is also a bus stop across the road which takes you to Ibiza Old Town. l only had breakfast one morning in the hotel. I am a vegetarian so only have toast, but the hot breakfast looked terrible. However, it feels unfair for me to comment on this further given that I am vegetarian. The pool area is well maintained and unlike other hotels we did not struggle to get a lounger by the pool. They also have Balinese beds which are bookable and cost €50 per day (for 2 people). However, the Balinese beds did not seem to get much sun. If you are coming to Ibiza to party and only require somewhere to sleep, this hotel is good but otherwise I wouldn’t recommend. It is definitely more geared towards friends travelling to party as opposed to families or couples. Good things about the hotel - Price - Loungers available (regardless of the time you go to the pool) - shop attached to hotel which is very fairly priced. OK things about the hotel - location Not so good things about the hotel - air con (or lack of air con!!) - unhelpful staff - could be noisy for those who actually hope to sleep throughout the night I personally would not recommend this hotel to anybody and next time would just pay more to stay in a better hotel.
