We expected worse and accepted that, when we got there we were pleasantly surprised. We were already aware that there was no air con but the room had a ceiling fan fitted which was great to have on all night, plus blackout window shutters so could have the window itself open and shut the shutters l… more
We expected worse and accepted that, when we got there we were pleasantly surprised. We were already aware that there was no air con but the room had a ceiling fan fitted which was great to have on all night, plus blackout window shutters so could have the window itself open and shut the shutters letting the cooler night air in. The cleanliness was faultless, we put the sign for housekeeping on the door every day of our stay and everyday got back to a lovely clean room. We stayed in the sister hotel across the road before which is still our fave but then it’s double the price. We love the location, the staff and the comfort. There is no lift in the Ferrer building. The pool is on top of Casa Maria opposite and is great with music and a bar. If you’re in a budget I would recommend this hostel every time. Can’t believe it’s classed as 1 star!!

“Basic but great value.”
Stayed here 3 times now. Basic but does the job well. Pool in building across road good. Toilet flush was broken but couldn’t be bothered to move etc so dealt with it, was just a bit fiddly once you knew how to do it. Clean and well kept. No complaints. Very very good location for San An and… more

Went for a few nights, location right in walking distance of everything, we stayed in the sister hotel across the rd, very basic but for price we expected that, the main hotel has the pool on the roof, very nice( not a lot of shade though ) we went just out of peak season so we felt as though we had our own pool to ourselves which we liked. Food and drink not too badly priced, staff all friendly and help when needed, the only bad thing was there wasnt a fridge in the room, so had to buy a cold drink on way in each night, there is 24hr supermarkets open so can get a cold drink to take bk, overall very happy with stay, thanks.

Me and my friend stayed for 6 nights, it is a perfect location near restaurants and the strip and right near the bus station. Our room was very basic but had everything we needed. Me and my friend stayed for 6 nights, it is a perfect location near restaurants and the strip and right near the bus station. Our room was very basic but had everything we needed. The only problem was that at the pool you weren’t allowed to take your own water which we thought was a joke! You could only buy small bottles for €1.50 which is ridiculous! Overall the hostal was fine but this really annoyed us.
