On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

“The best secrets resorts”

We visited secrets Silversand for my birthday. We are UVC members so beckford we even arrived in Mexico, we received a call from our assigned rep Pepe. He was professional, friendly, caring and knowledgeable. Pepe took care of all out needs before we even got there. Each day there's a new theme and shows to attend and games at the pool to enjoy during the day. In regard to food, there were many options to choose from; meat lover, seafood, or vegetarian. The property is well kept all around. The room was gorgeous and clean. The room was also decorated for my birthday, as well o was greeted with a bottle of champagne and cake. Overall, I have a wonderful time at the resort and enjoyed the people that were there. Again Pepe we thank you for making our trip smooth and relaxing. THE ONLY ISSUE I HAVE IS WITH UVC. After purchasing out membership, we received a free week either 7 nights to selected resorts or nights vice versa. First off, our membership is for 5 years (trial pk) . I called to book the free week and I was told the time has EXPIRED that I was given/ allowed to use the free week by 2019. Ok, we went ahead and got "supervisors approval " to book which we did for March 2020. Fast forward to Marchi called as CORONA VIRUS is spreading all over and I change the reservation as I am a Jamaican and knew from family and the news that most likely the county will be on shut down. I was told we cannot cancel or rebook as the time was EXPIRED to use the free week. Mind you, we still have the membership for few more years hmm. So, out menon hold to speak with a "SUPERVISOR " again and now they DEMANDED that we choose a date now to reschedule and it had to be with the same brand resort. I felt pressured, well bbn I was pressured to selecte a date. Even thou during the summertime I rather to go to a family resort instead of an ALL ADULT. March was for my fiance' birthday. We ended up selecting July as we already had plans for July but not for breathless Adult only resorts. So now we don't know what will happen with this Corona virus and from what we were told " WE CANNOT CHANGE THE RESERVATION. These people do not seem to give one bit about their clients. And we were thinking about upgrad6to the 15 or 30 years plan hut with this kind of treatment. As of today we cannot leave the US AND WE CANNOT ENTER MEXICO etc. UVC can be great but needs better customer service.

“Very nice place”

We are members of UVC and chose this resort as one of our bonus weeks. We were not disappointed. The room was spacious and very clean. We loved all the pools, but stayed mostly in a quiet one near our building. There is not enough covered seats around the quieter pools. But the service was absolutely the best we have ever enjoyed. Someone was always asking if you wanted drinks or food delivered. The restaurants were all very good. We tried them all except for the Mexican place. Entertainment was good and the flaming coffees in the evening were a real treat.

“Loved It”
Beautiful resort with lots of pools. The main pool has a swim up bar and loads of activities. There is also an ice cream cart that comes around in the afternoon. Beautiful resort with lots of pools. The main pool has a swim up bar and loads of activities. There is also an ice cream cart that comes around in the afternoon. There was also a person going around cleaning sunglasses. By the main pool there is a lunch set up with daily with hamburgers, chips, guacamole etc..it was delicious. The pool side service was amazing, really quick and always right. The service and food at lobby bar and restaurants were excellent. We had a spacious honeymoon suite preferred room. It was facing the over the water huts so the view was ok. The preferred lounge breakfast was limited but enjoyable. I would absolutely go back to this resort.
