We've recently returned from yet another fantastic stay at Bluebay Beach Club I first visited this hotel over 20 years ago when it opened as Airtours Beach Club. I love the time I spend there and return every year with more and more of my family and friends, who also love it there too! I usually stay in a penthouse, I love how spacious the balcony is and I love that I have my own private BBQ and jacuzzi, which I often spend all day in. The views are truly amazing! You can see all the way to the sand dunes in Maspalomas whilst relaxing in the tub. The rooms are a great size and have everything I need. It really does feel like a home away from home. The kitchen is kitted out and has an oven, dishwasher, full sized fridge freezer and a microwave. The bedding and linen are all fresh and clean and the superb maids visit 5 days a week. Now that my kids are grown up, it’s nice that there is still lots for my nieces and nephews to enjoy. There is an arcade which always has a new machine in it each year, a massive pool for the older kids, a baby pool for the younger ones, also mini club where they can go and play for the day. The bar staff are amazing. Some are the same staff that have been there since it opened back in the 1999. There is a wide selection of drinks, all reasonably priced, a very cheap daily happy hour, and if nothing on the menu takes your fancy the bar staff are more than happy to help with any requests. I find the location of the hotel great, it's a very quiet area in the south of the Island, there are bars and restaurants just a short walk away, or Play del Ingles is only a 10 minute taxi ride.... You can literally touch the sea from your balcony, the Ocean view cannot be bettered, just listening to sound of the waves at night is amazing. The staff throughout the whole hotel are lovely and friendly, and will help to resolve issues, should any arise. Reservations, Reception, Maintenance team, the maids, theyre all lovely and will all greet you with a 'Hola' and a smile, I feel a million miles from London whilst I'm there. There are so many memories we have created at Bluebay through the years, all my friends and family love it..It really has a special place in our hearts. “Cost worthy”

For the price this hotel does what it says on the tin. For the price this hotel does what it says on the tin. Fantastic customer service, friendly staff, good bar and restaurant, breakfast decent enough and all the amenities you would need such as pool, gym, working lifts, bag storage while we waited for our rooms to be ready, early check in, spacious and tidy rooms. They also had a shop and arcade. Apartments all come with bed, bathroom, kitchen and balcony. Fantastic for a cheap get away with the family or friends. It is not meant to be a plush 5* star inclusive resort it is what you pay for and met all my needs that I wanted. Only negatives I would honestly give is the leisure parts. The beach didn't look too appealing (rocky, with no real shore?) and we were also unsure on how to get to it. Pool was freezing ice cold! Hardly anyone swam in it because it was that cold. Maybe they need to invest in a water heater or use luke warm water to fill? Also Sauna was closed which was a bit of a dissapoint. The activities that were on daily weren't really advertised accept for in the lifts. Neutral things- location is far up in the hills but we actually really liked this as it meant beautiful views. There are supermarkets, shops, restaurants about a 10 minute walk away. Also nearest bus stop is the same. Best to leave early in the morningvso you can get a bus as they are quite full at the nearest bus stop

So ignore all negative reviews...This is the best hotel for money in area and beautifully positioned. I have previously stayed for two years at the Monte Feliz but after emails to them to re book with no reply i found this little gem next door as i love the area. I stayed half board. First the room i had , double deluxe was an amazing room. Separate kitchen/lounge area with sofa and huge patio doors leading to a huge balcony with a view of the sea. Lovely bathroom with bath and shower, walk in wardrobe and a lovely double bed with another set of patio doors..all decorated ample. Pool area is lovely with loads of sun-beds, was quite busy but did not feel like it and always got the spot i wanted The lovely oval pool. Bar area was lovely and lunch prices were reasonable as was the beer at €3 a pint and coffee for €1. Restaurant is not huge but some lovely tables you can eat outside. Breakfast was fine, eggs were amazing and usual salad and meats, Cooked breakfast all buffet and nice choice of pastries. Coffee on tap. Evening meal was fine, not a huge choice but fish, meat and pasta etc..cant say i had a bad meal at all. Staff were fantastic and so friendly. Little shop was a little more expensive but fine but supermarket 10 mins walk with a little cheaper and more choice In all a had a fab experience and will definitely be back next year. Reception staff helpful with booking direct. Will defo be back next November!
