Blue Bay Beach Club exceeded expectations, making our Gran Canaria holiday truly special. The stunning location, welcoming staff, and fantastic pool area ensured a relaxing and enjoyable stay. While our room could benefit from a refresh, its cleanliness and comfort were never compromised. Gran Canaria itself was a delight, offering diverse experiences from camel rides in the Maspalomas dunes to exciting visits to Crocodillo Park. We would gladly return to both the island and Blue Bay Beach Club for another memorable adventure.

Stayed in room 402 nice big room and balcony staff were very friendly and helpful. The food from the bar and restaurant were quite good and reasonable priced. Now the only fault which was not the hotel's fault was the parrots on a neighbouring property they had this horrible habit of squeaking every morning at sunrise. So if you fancy a lie in ask for a room away from the parrots

“Lovely veiws from the balcony.”

We booked a 7 night stay in a one bedroom apartment bed and breakfast. The reception staff are friendly, especially Marya. We booked a 7 night stay in a one bedroom apartment bed and breakfast. The reception staff are friendly, especially Marya. The apartment is a good size, kitchen is well equipped and there was a huge balcony with 2 sun loungers and a table with 4 chairs overlooking the pool complex and the sea. The bedroom was also a good size, patio doors onto the balcony, a dressing room/ area and a thermostatic controlled heat/ aircon. The bed was possibly one of the most uncomfortable i have ever slept on - very very firm. The bathroom was large. A bath with shower attachement, 2 sinks, a toilet, a bidet and a shower cubicle. There was a lot of limescale build up on the fittings, a large mass of mastik in the bath drain which looked unclean, the shower cubicle was very dark and the door didnt close properly but it was functional. There are plenty of power points (dont forget 2 pin adapters) and a good size TV. If you want to use the safe in thr room there is an extra charge. The decor is very dated and worn. Out kitchen cupbards had trim missing exposing the chipboard undeneath and the walls/ skirting/ doors have all seen better days. The cleaning staff are very pleasant, fresh towels 5 days a week. Breakfast is mediocre at best - not a great selection and staff seem in a rush to get you out the door. Pool snack bar is good value and the food is very tasty but only avaialble 12pm-5pm. Pool area is nice and clean, plenty of sun loungers although many are heavily stained (also building works around pool area currently) you would need to bring pool towels or hire them.. supermarket on site has a good selection of essentials and the staff are very nice and friendly. There is a cash machine in reception and a couple of vending machines. If arriving late i suggest bringing a supply of tea/coffee as there is none in the room and the local supermarkets shut at 10pm. Attached pictures of room condition. Its might be a but dated, definately not a 4* hotel - possibly was when it was newly built - but we did enjoy our stay.

Not 4 star more like lower 3,very clean and tidy. This is a better winter sun location as the resort is dead June 24.So dead that the pool and sun lounger area is being dug up as i write this,staff are doing their best to allow pool to be usable.Kango Drills forming new service supply channels next to pool so not good place to relax at the moment. Place is worn out very used But the staff are excellent!! Needs big cash injection to obtain future return clients. Should be Adults Only Hotel-The main issue is that I feel the kids are bored here and the parents cannot work out a way to please them. Great place to unwind,book somewhere else if you have young kids. Food is Good and staff polite.
