Hotel was nice and clean staff wore all nice juan from the acitvv was Amazing he really made the kids club the pool dancing and discos and night shows so enjoyable he was very entertaining 🙂 and the food was also nice we had all inclusive …………………………….,,,,,,,,,,……………………………:……..

Need a bit of TLC, kids swimming pool was closed for the first two days and when it was reopened the water was sooo cold. Should be heated, just like the big pool. “Could be so much better.”

We stayed here before in 2018 and I am really shocked how downhill it has gone. We got in on Tuesday night and admittedly it had been raining. We stayed here before in 2018 and I am really shocked how downhill it has gone. We got in on Tuesday night and admittedly it had been raining. Got to the apartment and the floor was flooded.. water dripping through the ceiling light fitting. Cracks in the ceiling.Went back to the reception only to be told sorry we have no more rooms as 20 odd other people have already been moved. I was offered towels to clean up myself. The room was a disgrace. Skirting boards falling off the wall. Bathroom door would not close. The stink of sewage was very bad. So eventually we were moved the next day at 2pm. The hotel setvatur next door had just taken over on Nov 1 so they did start to improve things bit by bit. The hotel entertainment is bad......very bad. Juan was a one man show with no talent. Halloween party /escape room was a 45 minute wait for us in the hallway. just walking around the downstairs bar for 10 mins in the dark looking for scraps of paper... No good. And Juan bangs a trolley at the wall and yells at the people to get out. Trying to be scary....well it was just sad.close to our last night he was telling us to write him a review and took my phone up off the table and started to create the review himself until i stopped him and said i will leave a review myself. This guy was badly picked for this job in my opinion. The new girl that stated was Liv. She is very nice and good with the kids so I wish her luck. All inclusive IS NOT ALL INCLUSIVE. now there is all Inc "plus" with us way more expensive and not worth it. The pool is tidy but very very boring. No ball games or any such things for kids allowed. Poor kids were bored most of the time. In 2018 this place was great for kids but now .... Forget about it. Staff in general are good. Especially the restaurant staff. Food is cold a lot of the time. The place is getting very tired and run down.everywhere Needs major investment. The location is good with great views and I know the Setvatur will do a good job revamping this place but it needs to invest in the place and the entertainment budget. This place could be great with good management and fresh input.

We arrived at riosol and checked in which was pretty fast but did see queues at other times we entered as self catering so we ate out for the first 9 days couple of decent places to eat at the centre up the top the Chinese is nice and so was the kebab place and Las Vegas but you get harassed and shouted to come in every single restaurant which is so annoying because obviously you want food but like to browse menus every single place family family or trying to seat you 4 years family sit down no mate I want to look around and walked away from many because of this , we went to the pool the next day there were plenty of sunbeds and if there wasn’t the lifeguard would of got you a spare , you can put towels down from 8 am but please if you do this don’t go out all day and come to the pool at 5 we found a few people did this and it’s not fair it’s selfish . The pool was warm had steps a shallow end and a very deep pool end like 8ft deep .The pool could do with a bit of tlc the white plastics are old and look a bit dirty same as the rooms it’s right what people say it’s been a bit run into the ground but I’m aware it’s being taken over by servatur so maybe they’ll close it and do it up . We had shower problems it filled and flooded the room in like 5 mins there was water everywhere , we did move rooms and the same issue with the shower so maintenance came and fixed it and after that it was ok you could have a normal shower . We found there to be not a lot in lines of entertainment there was aqua aerobics every day more or less which was ok but then nothing , it says water polo but there version is not what I expected and it lasted around 15 mins tops when it says 45 mins on the board ,also water basket on other days but not until 4pm nothing else happening at all its so boring after a while like there’s no killer pool no darts no pool side quiz or anything really just the same stuff daily and like I said it’s a long wait til 4 to play the 15 mins of water polo or basket .same as nighttime mini disco and then we saw like a flashing dj stand that was supposed to be kareoke but they wanted you to read the lyrics off your phone it’s a complete waste of time . We found the bar opens at 11 and gets very busy very quick you’re a long time waiting for a drink but it’s the only place I’ve been to where kids with all inclusive wrist bands have to wait and ask for a drink they could cut the wait time in half if they let the kids help themselves but with it being mixed self catering and all inclusive it’s hard to keep a track of the wrist bands which I also think are uncomfortable and annoying and sharp don’t like them at all . We got upgraded to all in for the last couple of days due to moving rooms and shower issues so tried the restaurant but I wasn’t impressed I found the choice limited mostly see people eating salads or a plate full of cakes also the queue in the morning to get bacon and eggs is ridiculous they really do need more things cooked and ready to go , typical Spanish all inclusive food streaky bacon fried eggs bread fruit but not much else the cereal isn’t what we are used to either but I understand they’ve got to cater for everyone. The drinks are ok typical local spirits or you can pay premium they did do cocktails too but I didn’t really enjoy them much .when we moved rooms we got put next to the lift which is very noisy at night and you’ll need your window open we heard shouting and screaming kids running about at 3am he did tell me to call reception next time . So to conclude great views great reception team clean reception area ,rooms need an upgrade there needs to be way more in the line of entertainment especially during the day they need to round people up play games like killer pool football darts ,proper water polo that lasts at least half an hour better food I only ate there like twice still went out as it was better we did have a great time it’s a nice hotel but needs some tlc and an animation team bringing in that do games all through the day .the pool queues needed a deposit so literally nobody even plays it.The football area needs re netting because we lost 2 balls through rips in the net and it’s all loose around the bottom will be better when it’s been taken over and revamped
