excellent hotel - but a hell of a climb first and most crucial thing to note when booking this hotel = its atop a high hill overlooking the harbour- excellent views and a really nice hotel- but its a beast of a climb up from the harbour!! we opted for the buffet breakfast which is good- not great but it is good. the apartment we booked was small but adaquate but lacked Air-con- wont make that mistage again! the pool is great and the sunset views are spectacular cabs are 6 quid from harbour to hotle- embrace cabs! theres a nearvy spar and shopping square with resteraunts and bars- that took care of us most evenings visit 'the market' down in the tow is a good shopping centre and offers bettwer quality and value that the tourist trap shops the spare across the road is very well stocked- worth a trip to stock up on essentials

We had a fantastic stay at Riosol Servatur Hotel. Our room was spacious and featured a large terrace equipped with sun loungers, a table, and chairs. The room itself was generously sized with two bedrooms and a total of four beds. The beds varied in firmness and quality, but overall, they were comfortable, and the pillows were very nice. The room was fresh and appeared recently renovated, and everything worked as it should. We even had hot water in the evenings, which is not always guaranteed at hotels abroad. The hotel grounds were clean and well-maintained. The large pool was not heated, but the temperature was pleasant during our stay. The children’s pool, on the other hand, was warmer and seemed to be heated. We had both breakfast and dinner included. The breakfast was excellent, but the dinner became a bit repetitive toward the end of our stay, as the menus tended to be similar. Nevertheless, the food was good. The only drawback was that drinks were not included with dinner, and we had to pay for them separately. The hotel has recently changed ownership and is currently undergoing renovations and upgrades. The reception area, which seemed newly refurbished, was very nice. However, we heard that a few guests had issues with water leaks in their rooms, but they were moved to new rooms, which resolved the problem. As the hotel is located on a slope, there are naturally many stairs. However, there is an elevator available for those who may find stairs challenging. In summary, we had a really good stay and can highly recommend the hotel, especially considering the ongoing improvements, which are likely to raise the overall standard even further.

“Could be so much better.”

We stayed here before in 2018 and I am really shocked how downhill it has gone. We got in on Tuesday night and admittedly it had been raining. We stayed here before in 2018 and I am really shocked how downhill it has gone. We got in on Tuesday night and admittedly it had been raining. Got to the apartment and the floor was flooded.. water dripping through the ceiling light fitting. Cracks in the ceiling.Went back to the reception only to be told sorry we have no more rooms as 20 odd other people have already been moved. I was offered towels to clean up myself. The room was a disgrace. Skirting boards falling off the wall. Bathroom door would not close. The stink of sewage was very bad. So eventually we were moved the next day at 2pm. The hotel setvatur next door had just taken over on Nov 1 so they did start to improve things bit by bit. The hotel entertainment is bad......very bad. Juan was a one man show with no talent. Halloween party /escape room was a 45 minute wait for us in the hallway. just walking around the downstairs bar for 10 mins in the dark looking for scraps of paper... No good. And Juan bangs a trolley at the wall and yells at the people to get out. Trying to be scary....well it was just sad.close to our last night he was telling us to write him a review and took my phone up off the table and started to create the review himself until i stopped him and said i will leave a review myself. This guy was badly picked for this job in my opinion. The new girl that stated was Liv. She is very nice and good with the kids so I wish her luck. All inclusive IS NOT ALL INCLUSIVE. now there is all Inc "plus" with us way more expensive and not worth it. The pool is tidy but very very boring. No ball games or any such things for kids allowed. Poor kids were bored most of the time. In 2018 this place was great for kids but now .... Forget about it. Staff in general are good. Especially the restaurant staff. Food is cold a lot of the time. The place is getting very tired and run down.everywhere Needs major investment. The location is good with great views and I know the Setvatur will do a good job revamping this place but it needs to invest in the place and the entertainment budget. This place could be great with good management and fresh input.
