“The best animation team”

We loved the animation team. 5 stars for the boys. ,,👍🏼The hotel has a magnificent view. It's very worth it. The rooms are good with a kitchenette. The food was also good and diverse. Lots of choice and for different tastes. Thank you for everything.

Great hotel friendly staff - especially hiraih Food range could be improved Lovely pool loads of activities throughout the day Came with a big group of mates it was perfect with lovely views and beaches Would highly recommend great all round holiday

Our third visit to Riosol and I’m afraid we won’t go back. Arrived to room not ready, no real issue- we changed in our daughter’s room and headed to the pool. Unfortunately, room allocated was less than satisfactory. Awful smell of stagnant water which turned out to be from a shower that didn’t drain, overflowed and flooded! Reported to reception who sent maintenance. Couldn’t be fixed, so they wanted us to move. Second day of holiday spent repacking and going to reception 3 times over 6 hours before new room was ready! It was a restless day at the pool. Then we couldn’t access new room, key fob hanging off the door and a few minor issues with the room that made it look like a rush job. Not a great start. We made the most of our time, determined not to have it spoiled but the hotel needs a bit of TLC and there are a few quick wins that just don’t get attended too. Pool glass is dirty, poolside floor is dirty, pool drains are green, sports area out of use (building materials stored there but we saw no works during our time), old furniture and mattresses piled near skips in view, paint coming off walls, mini market closed. Lots of arguments regards sun beds and umbrellas too, especially when the local families came to use the pool inflatable on Saturday. Two AI families left their loungers and belongings for lunch, and returned to someone else on their loungers after only 20 mins! On a positive note, our daughter is gluten free and was very well catered for. The staff work very hard and are always pleasant. The food was very good, plenty of choice and restaurant was clean and tidy. It’s such a shame, we’ve had two great holidays here but this one missed the mark.

After reading the reviews I was dreading going here. To be fair wished l'd never read them. There were 9 of us we had gone for my future daughter in laws hen do so wanted it to be a special and memorable time. Good points Only saw three cockroaches all the time I was there not one in the room and not one bug either, rooms were adequate does need a touch up but nothing major the beds were comfy and plenty of room. The balconies are great and the most amazing view. The food was like what you get in most all inclusive for the star rated and always plenty of choice most staff were very helpful and tried really hard to accommodate our needs ( eg drinks type of food things like that Animation juander was great bless him. for amount of tourists that were there he did a great job and was very pleasant well done. Pool area was nice the pool was lovely and cold but the weather was so hot it warmed the pool up by late. afternoon. Plenty of sun loungers around the pool and very comfy. A very short walk from the hotel are a few shops and bars we spent most of our time in the Blarney Stone where we had a blast. Highly recommend if you want a fun night out. The beach's are lovely and only about 6 euros in a taxi. All in all a fab holiday. Now the not so good bits but I do want to express it did not spoil our holiday, we were very disappointed but made the most of it as we wanted to still have a good time. We arrived on Thursday evening about 9.15 pm so it was dark. checked in and given our room numbers took us a bit to find where they were and trudged down 6 lots of stairs with the cases thankgod for the young ones lol. Woke next morning and realised there was an event booked in for the whole weekend Salsa had we known we would not have gone. Loud music all day until 4am in the morning very rude salsa dancers that would push past the very few holiday makers that were there to get in the restaurants and bar. All entertainment had been stopped for the whole weekend so this was very disappointing. One day we even left the hotel to go for food elsewhere as the shoving and pushing and noise were getting unbearable. We couldn't sleep at night as the music was playing very loud until 4am and the rooms above us decided to carry on partying in the rooms and balconies. To be fair on the 3rd night we did ask them to quieten down and they did. The hotel was a mess cups just thrown all over wet towels just dumped, really felt for the cleaners. After making our concerns to management we were promised vip bands and to go upto the vip area after the salsa lot had left on the Monday, the lady that told us was off until Wednesday so didn't happen. Complained to someone else and they said we could have vip on Wednesday, Wednesday came we got our bands and set off for vip area and pool, to be met with a sign it was closed until the 22nd we were going home on the 20th it looked trashed couldn't believe how adults could leave it like that disgusting. Didn't see anyone clean the pool or pool area all week so by time we left did look a bit dirty pool toilets were disgusting not cleaned at all, but not surprised as the cleaners looked to be playing catchup after the event. I can imagine if it hadn't been for this event things would probably have been different. So just want to say a massive thankyou to all the lovely staff, cleaners, animation as how they coped with all this is beyond me.
