Check in was nice and easy. Room was adequate for 2. I was on 1st floor so had a terrace, with table and chairs, 2 loungers and a clothes dryer on the wall. Pool was big enough with plenty of loungers and tables and chairs. Cute little shop. When you get in your room, there is a schedule for cleaning, towels and bedding. You are supplied with brush mop and bucket. Good sized shower and bathroom. Functional kitchen. Location is great 1 lot of steps down to a hiper dino. Or about a 15 minute walk down into main shopping centre. Would definitely come again, after all, if you want 5* then you have to pay for it. This is a little gem of a bargain stay in the beautiful Puerto Rico

Reception A friendly reception and everything we asked for was sorted straight out. From a noise complaint to a taxi they were very helpful. Shop A very small shop but has essentials. Sells sachets of sugar/salt/pepper which I think is a great idea!! Sells the basics for comfort. Pool A small but ample pool. Very cold in January as expected. Top step missing on one of the three sets of steps but wasn’t a problem if you knew about it. Needs repairing. Small knee high Childs pool, but no children were here. Apartment Small and basic but does what it says on the tin. If you like to cook your own food then this is not the kitchen for you. It’s tiny. Water has to be boiled in a pan, toaster only toasts one side of the bread, extremely basic utensils. But if you eat out then you’ll be just fine. We had a first floor apartment so could just walk straight out to the pool which I was glad of. The water is hot in the middle of the day but Luke warm morning and evening. The lifts still aren’t working SO IF YOU HAVE MOBILITY ISAUES THEN THIS MAY NOT BE THE PLACE FOR YOU RIGHT NOW The TV only has BBC News or radio channels in English. We didn’t use the wifi so can’t comment on this. Pool bar This was closed - pretty non existent really and the place shouldn’t be advertised as having one. Sunbeds There’s always enough, they are stacked at night so you have to go get your own. They are very comfortable so I took the blanket from the room and lay it under my towel and it did the job. They have arm rests so for the less mobile or agile they could be tricky. Location 10-15 minute walk down hill to the Bea h or the shopping centre and €3:50 in a taxi back up. The shopping centre is great with a range of pubs, restaurants and bars but we prefer the Europa Centre at the top which is around €5 in a taxi. It’s more personal up there and the pool tables and darts facilities are better (Jamaica Inn if you’re a pool lover). I don’t think I’d stay here again as I like to cook for us and couldn’t due to the facilities being so basic. I wouldn’t warn people off coming here though, if you want a base then this is a nice little value for money set of apartments Iis a very quiet atmosphere and a nice relaxing feel. No background music or anything similar.
