“Gran Canaria ”

It was our first visit to Gran Canaria, we caught the bus from the Airport, cost us €10.50, bus journey was 40 mins. The taxi prices were very expensive, between €60/70. It was our first visit to Gran Canaria, we caught the bus from the Airport, cost us €10.50, bus journey was 40 mins. The taxi prices were very expensive, between €60/70. The weather was beautiful, we enjoyed our stay at Isla Bonita Apartments, the staff were very friendly, the Apartment was very clean and tidy, with a stunning view of Puerto Rico beach and harbour. Within walking distance to the Shopping Centre, bars and restaurants. There was a few things that we were puzzled about, 1 was why didn't our English plug adaptors fit into the Spanish plug sockets? The 2 pins seemed to be too fat for the actual socket. My Spanish phone charger fit perfectly, this meant I had to use the extension lead in the kitchen to dry and style my hair, in the kitchen area, and the 2nd thing was the bathroom, the wet room idea is great but we felt like we were flooding the bathroom every time we had a shower and also the hot water didn't last very long. Although this wouldn't put us off staying again, it was a pleasant place to stay, so quiet and the other guests were very quiet too. Pool area was very clean. The Bar across the road was very convenient, to save us having to walk down the hill to the shopping centre each time we wanted a quiet drink. We will return to Isla Bonita in the future. Good value for money. Stayed for a hen weekend apartments where clean and tidy. We where able to walk into the centre without issue . Gran canaria is hilly so may have been too much for someone not fit or able. Its only a few € in taxi so not too taxing. We needed somewhere reasonably priced, clean… more

Good value for money. Stayed for a hen weekend apartments where clean and tidy. We where able to walk into the centre without issue . Gran canaria is hilly so may have been too much for someone not fit or able. Its only a few € in taxi so not too taxing. We needed somewhere reasonably priced, clean and close to the centre Isla Bonita done exactly that would go back again if looking for the same idea.
