My husband and I holidayed with our friends, just after Christmas and for the new year. The rooms were lovely, 10/10 for everything and clean towels daily. Hotel very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Wanted to say a huge thank you to each and every one of the staff, particularly catering staff/waiters/waitresses for putting on such a special Gala New Year celebration. You deserved the standing ovation and your drink at the end. Happy 2025 to you all 😊

“Pleasantly surprised for a 4* hotel”

We found the hotel very clean and the Food pretty good. Lots of variety with a different theme on most days. 95% of the Staff were very friendly Only downside were you sometimes wait 5/6 minutes for lifts plus swimming pools were very cold for a heated pool

the hotel was well very pretty, and large, well kept and clean the pool area is nice but half shaded until lunch time, pool was too cold to go into although it was supposed to be heated. the staff in the bar were miserable. It catered more for then German population, including the food. the food ok… more

It catered more for then German population, including the food. the food ok, again a lot of German dishes, the food was also luke warm. i didn't have the gala meal as i didn't like the menu, so we went to the restaurant up the road and it was gorgeous, best food all holiday as it had flavour, which was lacking in the hotel food. we had room 560 the bed was so uncomfortable, i slept on the sofa one night and we kept rolling down wards its was like trying to sleep on a mountain side. good view though and room spacious modern and clean. there wasn't much around the hotel, so it was a good 15 min walk to the beach and more. The yumbo centre had good shops bars etc this was 10/15 mins away but the Kasbah centre nothing was open, whether it was because we were in December ?? the beach is nice, lots of nice restaurants and gift shops, get the lift down to the beach as its a hell of a lot of steps down then back up!! cannot really fault it even for all those bits and bobs, would I return? no, Gran Caneria in general is not for me. I do love a princess hotel though, you know your getting a certain level x

A clean hotel with large sun-area and a (partly hidden) outside spa area. Staying with half-pension, the dinners' quality varies, sometimes pretty good, sometimes more of a school canteen, with tattoed guests in tank tops. Some oddities: - Bar staff can suddenly stop executing your order, to prioritize another guest or colleague - The large in-house bar area is mostly quite and largely empty - The pool is actually two pools, one with cold water and one with less cold water (Decemer) - The room shower has the faucet 1,8meters away from the handles, forcing you to go between the two ends to change temperature, test the outcome, and repeat.
