My 3rd trip this year to this amazing place was the Best so far. Along with its well maintained rooms, grounds and public areas, its Standout feature is its Staff. A warm welcome at Reception including Agustin ( guest relations). Cristian, Marcos, Angel and Eduardo are all part of a great bar team. Nerea and Emilio too from the restaurant and beyond. A big Thank You. Now look forward to returning again, to this Happy Place, before the year end too.

Relaxing adults only hotel, our room got the morning sun but spacious with fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Beach towels ready in your room. Relaxing adults only hotel, our room got the morning sun but spacious with fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Beach towels ready in your room. Basic AI drinks package was okay with good lager, bottled wines,Cava all available by the glass. Cocktails small choice and local spirits. Restaurant very efficient for taking finished plates and friendly waiters. Food , salads brilliant choice, various hot dishes including usual English must haves. Always freshly cooked meats (not the best cuts of meat) and fishes and paella . Desserts plentiful and ice creams. Breakfast fresh fruit selection brilliant and eggs freshly cooked. Thanks to Jamie at reception for helping get lost property back to us and the new lady who had just started and was keen to please. Entertainment good with often two acts per evening. Downside was guests smoking vapes at their outside tables and not going to the allocated smoking area. Would return and it’s not often I say that. Lots of kittens and we saw a rare bird in the garden area.

Me and my partner recently stayed in the princess and booked for a week. Pros: - Clean hotel, we had a very nice room with a sea view and a bottle of champagne waiting for us in the room. - Nice pool, very clean spacious and nice temperature - Staff very friendly, nothing was too much hassle, especially the man who helped us out the first night of our stay (Monday 1/7/24, as we needed to get to the hospital) - The bed was very comfy - Very good evening and day time entertainment. Animation team was brilliant. - Check out is 12pm this is good because we had a late flight - Hotel has its own photographer, which you pay for only the photos you want Cons: - Half board does not include drinks with your evening meal, which I found wasn’t the case in many other hotels. You even had to pay extra for water - Lifts break constantly this was a nightmare as we was on the top floor. So we ended up taking the stairs which makes you uncomfortable in the heat - Not a wide selection of food mainly sea food and salad - Location of the hotel is okay approximately 15 mins walk to shopping centre, We went to Puerto Rico for a day and found that there was a lot more to do there. About 30 euro in a taxi each way. - Getting a sun bed in the morning is a nightmare, need to be reserving one around 8am to get a good spot. However we did see staff removing towels as people would reserve sun-beds and not turn up until the afternoon. - The shower in the room constantly changes temperature, for example if you put it on cold it will go hot and cold while you’re showering. - The A/C was in all rooms and free however we found that it wasn’t great, and didn’t make much of a difference. - Finally cleaners are very polite and good. Over all we did really enjoy our holiday and thank the hotel for having us!

Hotel is nice and clean, food was good, entertainment is loud and as other hotels with the all inclusive you get people who drink too much. By 8am all the loungers by the pool are gone. It says you can’t reserve them but it’s not enforced. Pool is a good temperature but it’s tired and has a liner which is coming away in places. But it’s a ok hotel and a nice place to stay. And the staff are very pleasant. Location is awful… it’s 20 years since I’d been to Playa Del Ingles or Gran Canaria in fact. It’s run down, hardly no shops that aren’t boarded up and many empty closed restaurants. The whole place just feels worn out, under invested and in serious decline. If you were bed and breakfast you’d struggle to find somewhere to eat near the hotel . The few shopping centres are edging on abandoned. The biggest one is the Yumbo centre. It’s run down, and no decent shops just the same fake football shirts, flip flops and Chaep Chinese gifts. It’s a huge LGBT destination and almost every bar in the Yumbo caters for this. Overall I can say I won’t be returning to Gran Canaria any time soon in the Maspolamas / Playa del Ingles area., as it’s tatty and run down. I’m sure Covid had an impact but the decline looks to be well before then, I’d hate to see how it will look in the years to come. That said if you want to visit an all inclusive hotel and stay in all the time then I suppose location isn’t that important but if you like to get out or go for a walk you’ll be disappointed.
