“Lovely relaxing holiday”

Stayed in a 1 bed bungalow 108, paid extra for air con but didn't use it much as the ceiling fan was good, temps averaging 30, imagine when hotter you would need the air con. Stayed in a 1 bed bungalow 108, paid extra for air con but didn't use it much as the ceiling fan was good, temps averaging 30, imagine when hotter you would need the air con. Cleaner didn't always replace towels taken for laundry so had to ask for more, 3 of us but sometimes only left two. Bungalow was at the opposite end to reception by tennis court, very peaceful, dappled shade on terrace due to proximity of trees but was better to sit out to eat than in full sun. Chairs on terrace wider than normal and thick comfy cushions. Bungalow was big, beds comfy, table and sideboard needs attention/upgrading otherwise good. Shower good. Plenty of space around the pool, management needs to monitor sunbeds as some saved am and not used till 4pm. 5 mins to yumbo, 10 to the beach, 15 to Irish area where market is held, bus stop at end of road. Frequent buses and very cheap. Staff very pleasant. Maintenance always clearing and tidying leaves and garden areas. Will definitely be returning here.

“Situated in a good area”

Having just returned from our second visit there was good and bad. The complex is lovely I can't fault where its situated. Its 10mins 2 the beach and the same to the Yumbo centre. Everything you need to have a self catering holiday is provided and I cant fault it. On the flip side the cleaning of the room left a lot to be desired. We arrived on a Tuesay and by Saturday I had to go and complain that we had not had a cleaner at all and we had run out of clean towels. To their credit a cleaner was sent straight away and she came the next two days till again I had to complain. Our bedding was never changed once even though I requested with the cleaner. I'm not a fussy person but to have sweaty bedding on for 2 weeks I don't think is acceptable. I found the staff to be very polite if not a little sharp sometimes but that may have been down to the language barrier. I would recommend these bungalows but I think the cleaners need to be more frequent. Some areas of the bungalow were quite grubby.

First thing I have to say I love these bungalows and have stopped here four times in the last six years and I am a club cordial member. But this will be my last visit for a while Firstly no matter how many times I have seen the same criticism still no parasols outside the bungalows. The bungalows themselves are now very dated furniture wise and all needs upgrading. Secondly most of the electrical sockets are in a poor condition some in our were hanging of the wall the doors into the bathroom are a slide door type and do not close properly. One day I had to go into a empty bungalow to help a cleaner who had got trapped inside the bathroom.And my biggest gripe on arrival we were asked to were a yellow wristband when I asked why I was told to make sure only guests were entering the hotel BUT next day while waiting in the foyer was meet with everyman and his dog walking into the hotel to use the swimming pool ect This is ok as long as the paying guests have a chance to use the facilities which we couldn't. Also jacuzzi was completely out of bonds with children using it as a mini swimming pool the gym was no better with people coming in of the street to use the facilities there also. I think the biggest problem is that the Cordial group itself is expanding quickly,building hotels quickly but forgetting to maintain it's current properties

Unfortunately our trip here wasn’t as successful as others….. the hotel its self is beautiful & picturesque but the level of service provided was disappointing!! We checked in late in the day and the receptionist spent most of her evening on FaceTime whilst supposedly checking us in. We’d pre booked 3 bungalows and upgraded 2 out of the 3 (would say this is a waste of money completely!!) we were given a room that was already occupied and spent nearly an hour going back and fourth, the air con which we’d paid for didn’t work and we had to fix ourselves as no maintenance on site!! No towels in rooms which meant another back and forth to reception. When spoken with the manager we was offered breakfast which was very kind (broken toaster which we informed them but wasn’t fixed) we was also offered a late check out which we thought was great and when I doubled checked with reception I was told we could have 2 rooms for the 7 of us …… another miss communication from staff as we were then told to put all 7 of us in a bungalow equipped for 3 👍🏻 on our last day the hotel was that busy by 9am all sun lounges were taken and at 3 in the afternoon still no one came to use the reserved lounges. When I asked reception I was told to pay for them!!! So instead we had to drag them from our rooms!! We love Gran Canaria but wouldn’t return to this hotel!!
