I don't understand some of the below reviews! I am a British traveller who was at the hotel 30/06/24 - 07/07/24 with husband, two adult children and one of their partners. I have stayed in Playa De Ingles five times now and this is the best hotel I have stayed in. Arrived late to find plate of food and water left for us in our room. Myself and hubby stayed in 911, amazing views of beach and right round towards the dunes. Room really comfy, great shower! As for sun beds, there was never a rush and always found some where for the five of us round the pool. Food was plentiful, loads of choice breakfast, lunch and dinner. Can't say it was tasteless in the least? Tacos had plenty of flavour and hubby loved sweet and sour chicken on Asia night!. All inclusive drinks were good. Never had a issue with pool bar, Sara remembered my drinks and pointed out the best ones to me. Spent time in the main bar of an evening and that is waiter service. The location is brill and we did not notice any notice coming from bars/restaurants. Late check out ? not a problem. There was a room we could use free of charge. Will we be back??? defo! We are back in GC in September and seriously thinking of changing accommodation to this hotel. Failing that we will be back next year!

When you turn up to your hotel and a McLaren is parked outside, you know it’s going to be good! Check in was super easy and quick, we arrived in time to eat at the Food Garden. Great food choice, cooked well, always warm and didn’t find anything I didn’t like. We were Unique guests which I highly recommend, felt like we were treated as VIP’s. Breakfast in the Unique lounge, freshly cooked to order, brilliant choice with help yourself to pastries ect too. Excellent service in there too, the ladies were great and remembered my order. Also lunch again was excellent, no negatives what so ever. Our room was clean, sea view, beautiful view from the balcony and comfy bed. No sunbed wars in the morning, unique guests had our own Solarium with comfy sun loungers and shaded area with water fountain and hot tub.. we were there all the time, loved the special feel about it. One of the days, a small group of people came in the area without Unique bands and they were removed by staff, nicely. Great pool areas and the main snack/pool bar was brilliant, great choice of drinks and food, the staff were lovely. I unfortunately ended up in hospital for 2 days and managed to get back and enjoy the last few hours before getting picked up. When I told the staff about what happened, very sympathetic and helpful. We are already planning on returning to enjoy the hotel to the full as it was cut short, we made some amazing memories here and would love to come back for more. Highly recommend if you want a relaxing break as a couple and in a great location with plenty to do if you want to get out and about.

Arrived around noon. Reception was friendly and checkin was quick. Room supposed to be ready by 14.00 hr, but they would give me a call if it was ready sooner (which they did). We ordered the budget room so we knew that the room for example did not have a balcony, but otherwise looked pretty much the same as the standard room. Bedroom and bathroom were both very clean. In general happy with the room, except that there was no wifi signal in the room. Pool area is nice. Only one time, when we arrived at 11.30, there were no beds available so we moved to the pool on the 6th floor. Did not seem they were doing something about people reserving sunbeds with towels. Restaurant is my favourite part of the hotel. Lots of choice and good quality food. Also enough variation. The view from the restaurant is also outstanding. The all inclusive includes beer, wine, soda and around 8 different cocktails. For different cocktails you do have to pay extra. Cocktails were bit of a hot or miss. Sometimes they put too much ice in it. We do recommend this hotel: friendly staff, good food, good location.

NEGATIVES We booked the unique superior package which meant we would have a meet and greet but that never happened We got there late THE BUS DRIVER DOES NOT DROP YOU OFF AT THE HOTEL IT DROPS YOU OFF AT ANOTHER HOTEL We were told when we got off he said go down there and turn right 45 minutes later we found it as we got lost it was dark and late at this point I was tired and frightened and I’m pain I wasn’t my self the receptionist didn’t care she wasn’t interested in my ordeal she gave us a piece of paper went through the info very quickly and off we went We got in our room and went to bed I woke in the morning to find dirty stains on the sheets that I had slept in there was a huge Pilar in the middle of the room that blocked the tv I fell through the middle of the bed as there two singles however the solution was a double topper which we received and worked fine when I went on my balcony it was smaller than the one advertised and we were over looked by the entire hotel so not the privacy we were expecting and that was advertised I asked reception if I could move he was very stoic with me he got another member of staff to deal with it we went from the 13th floor to the 9th we excepted the room as it was the only availability I asked if it was deluxe as it looked like one he said it was a superior Half the staff were lovely the other half were arrogant in my personal opinion example the bar maid with big glasses new you were waiting to be served and yet she would stand and chat to the men and laugh and completely ignore you there were a mix of English German and Spanish the Spanish (lovely) the German (rude ) even if I was there before them at the bar waiting to be served they would get served before me I didn’t like that feeling at all on our last day we found out there was another bar that we new nothing about the information was limited when I spoke to other English guests they all said the same there were two many faults with the hotel all inclusive should be all inclusive but it wasn’t if you wanted a frappe you were charged if a drink wasn’t on there menu and you asked for it you were charged you had a unique area that other guests used at there own leisure so why did I pay for the privilege when they didn’t and still got away with using it the unique room were you ate was breakfast only not lunch or dinner very strange there was a sun bed but you were charged 30 euros to lie on it would I return absolutely not Positives The unique room was beautifull with amazing views the room had beautifull views of the sea as the beach was a stone throw away
