“More like a 5 star than a 3star. Was amazing holiday”

Went away for a wk for my partners bday in June. Couldn’t ask for a better hotel,the rooms were clean and tidy,beds made everyday by the maids. As I said my partner bday; when we came back to room was a bottle of champagne and glasses with a card for him. Special touch. Plenty of fresh food to choice from. Being cooked on a grill for you to see and staff in and out with more fresh dishes. I can’t eat dairy and they were so helpful and caring telling me what a I could eat.The spa was amazing loved the cave and floating in the salt water; also in the other part of the spa relaxing plenty in there to enjoy : The staff were all lovely friendly ; helpful and would help you in any way. Any problem in you room they would be straight up. Entertainment in the evening was ok; we tend to go out see sites and places around for a drink. It says 3 stars but I would rate it more like a 5star. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Would go back again. Xx

“A good all round hotel at a reasonable price”

This happened to by our second stay with a Bull hotel - although the last one was in 2019 so some time ago. Thoroughly pleasant stay. no major grumbles despite having to walk through town after we lost the Euro Finals! Nothing to really take away or detract from a good week in the sun. Hotel - deceptively small, but clean and typical decor for a hotel of this size. it’s well laid out and compact. Only grumble is road noise when by the pool as the hotel backs onto a main roads outside but blocked out easily with the sound of a busy pool and the double glazing in the room. The hotel was mainly German and Dutch when we were there plus Spanish - this is reflected in the food and also the to channels you can get in your room (if that matters to you). Everyone very nice and friendly. Location - Playa Del Ingles is the busiest part of the island we’ve been too, although it feels a bit left behind and is more run down. The town doesn’t feel like it’s gotten back to its feet after the pandemic as we noticed more stores closed and two shopping centres completely empty. The see front is busy and lively and there’s plenty of restaurants although you quickly realise the menus all feel the same. Room - decent sized with balcony, clean and clutter free. Never a huge fan of twin rooms and would prefer a double bed so you be Ig’s didn’t fall down the crack each night. Staff - friendly, attentive and happy to help. The entertainment team had a thankless task of trying to engage the guests but they weren’t in your face and were generally fun. Pool - a bit small I think for the number of guests that the hotel could host but you’re so close to the sea it’s not always needed. Pool uses salt water which is generally better on the skin and eyes. Don’t be put off though as it’s mild salt water and isn’t too bad. Also means there’s a distinct lack of chlorine smell. We didn’t have an issue finding sun beds a positive is you have to occupy them or the staff will remove towels. Which did mean camping on a bed from 8am for the Mrs whilst I finished in the gym. Food - generally caters towards the Dutch and German guests, plenty of fish and meat dishes. My partner is a vegan and the biggest complaint this week was that there isn’t much in the way of vegan food on offer both at the hotel and in town in particular when it comes to protein sources. If there were more seeds that would have kept here happier but she didn’t go hungry. Each night the food was a little different with some theme dishes. Generally the food was all fresh - a little bland but they had a nice selection of spices to add to your own flavouring although the chef did seem to flavour everything with garlic. Deserts were very creamy and weren’t too sweet. Gym - pretty basic but there were some multi functional life fitness machines that offered some flexibility. Dumbbells could have been a little heavier but check out ocean gym on the sea front if you want a more hardcore workout. Gym was always quiet when I was there 7-9am. Spa - we both had treatments which were reasonably well priced, my deep tissue/sports massage was pretty soft but it was relaxing. The spa itself was quiet whenever I went in, the floatation room was always empty but there was so much salt in it the slightest cut was made instantly sore from the water. The main spa pool was great, pretty big lots of jets and could be switched on immediately after they turned off. Pretty sure there were some women using that to their advantages lol The spa itself is pretty basic, only one hot room and a relaxation room. But it’s a good retreat if you want a bit of peace and quiet and to get out of the sun. Entertainment - the entertainment team with fun the hotel entertainment was pretty middle of the road and didn’t really wow us but the football helped on a couple of nights. Plenty of bars with musicians and karaoke etc on the see front and clubs. Everything else - For those wanting to hide check out the hotel library. The games room was pretty big and not too busy when we were there. Couple of pool tables upstairs outside and also downstairs so that’s quite handy.

“Bull Escorial, great for couples and small families.”

Family of four in family room for one week all inclusive. Had a fantastic time and sad to come home. Staff, cleanliness, food, room and facilities all excellent by any measure. Spa and gym facilities all included and decent!! Table tennis, snooker, pool, bowling, fully enclosed sports court, kids play area available at anytime. Sun worshippers will love the 8th floor roof top terrace with sun loungers and hot tub! Hotel is ideally situated for beach, shops, bars and bus terminus for onward travel around the island. One thing I would say is that in my opinion the hotel is more suitable for smaller families and couples rather than large groups with lots of younger children. Balls, inflatables are not permitted in the main pool. The kiddies pool is tucked away on the grass area away from the restaurant/bar. Entertainment was a little hit and miss of an evening, they did have professional acts on four of the seven nights but was all done and dusted by 22:00. All in all an excellent hotel for the price range. Especially suitable for couples looking to chill and enjoy some downtime and pampering.

Firstly the Hotel is spotlessly clean in all areas. The food was very good with plenty of options and regularly filled up. All the staff that we came in contact with were extremely helpful and very pleasant. Unfortunately this is were it stops. We were not told by TUI about building work on the next hotel, with cranes and cherry pickers working daily from 8am till 4pm. If you want to have fun on your holiday this is NOT the hotel for you. The rules and regulations in the pool area are well over the top, you will not have any fun in the pool, unless you are Spanish because the rules didn't seem to apply to them. No balls in the pool, no diving, no inflatables and definitely no fun, only OLGA was any real fun. The hotel had a very lot of Germans in some were ok but most seem to look at you like you have 2 heads and stare at you continually wherever you are. The cocktails are all pre-made and not very good. If you want a good holiday do not go anywhere near this hotel.
