Very nice hotel with an excellent atmosphere! Friendly staff that was very helpful, we got both an extra chair to the balcony as we were a family and they provided us with a pillowtop when we asked, as we found the bed to be a bit on the hard side. Very nice hotel with an excellent atmosphere! Friendly staff that was very helpful, we got both an extra chair to the balcony as we were a family and they provided us with a pillowtop when we asked, as we found the bed to be a bit on the hard side. Good selection of food and drinks with different themes in the buffee restaurant every night. Always something good to eat that suited the whole family. Bar had a nice variety of drinks included in the "all inclusive" concept. Both the Cava and the white wine was of good quality. Childrens pool was VERY COLD, which was a bummer as the kids refused to use it and therefore couldn't go in the waterslides. The other pool area was heated and had a nice temperature. All common areas were very nice and clean. However the corridors and part of the rooms could use a facelift, but it was nothing that took away from the overall nice atmosphere and experience of the stay!

The first thing you must remember is that this is a family hotel and there will be children and at holiday times lots of children as there was for Christmas. There is an adults only section of the hotel in terms of rooms but we decided to upgrade to a swim up room which was very nice and quiet, facing the gardens but the water was very cold so only nice to look at and we couldn’t use the sun loungers as the terrace didn’t get any sun, the charge was €80 per day. Also, we ran out of coffee pods and were told you only get four free and the rest you have to pay for, in a room that’s costs hundreds, ridiculous and the first I’ve ever known. The hotel in parts looks a little shabby and needs some attention but our room was fine apart from having no kettle, just a coffee machine that didn’t really boil the water, well not hot enough for a cup of tea. The pool area is fine and some days you can find a quiet area away from the main pool, but be warned the music can be loud at times, ridiculously loud and very noisy due to the number of children screaming in the pool, really bad some days. The restaurant we thought was just ok, no cooking stations but did serve something for everyone and one night there was very nice steak being cut for you and on Christmas Eve very nice turkey being carved, my suggestion here as the place is very big is to have an adults only section, why not, as some of the children were ridiculously noisy and not one member of staff advised the parents to calm it down, which was unfair for other diners. The pool bar was very good in terms of service and staff however some staff didn’t serve what we call the Spanish measure and to say the liquor is local and cheap it’s a bit on the stingy side, but we thought all the staff were very nice and chatty throughout the hotel. There is another bar in the foyer but this didn’t open until 6.00pm so you have one bar serving the whole hotel and no waiter service around the pool. One thing to mention is the wine is on tap and the white is dreadful, to say local wine is cheap again a bit stingy. One thing thing that must be pointed out is the Christmas Day buffet, you had to book your table and time but let me tell you, it was excellent and who ever prepared that food needs a pat on the back and more, a big thank you from us. Another thing to point out is that the adult entertainment shows are not that good, in ten days we saw two good ones Grease and ABBA the rest were not great, but only our opinion, Wonka was terrible. Other hotels we’ve stayed at in this resort bring in acts but this hotel doesn’t as it has an entertainment team. We would say this hotel is a three star plus not four star at all but we would recommend it, we just wouldn’t come again in holiday season far too many families with children, if you don’t mind that the hotel for you but not us

“Forget it”

Been here at xmas 2023. Which was good. Returned at xmas 2024 and we were really disappointed. Food choice/quality not a patch on last year. Entertainment is non existent. Xmas eve Entertainment was a solo singer untill 10.00 pm. Will definitely not come back or recommend as it is now overpriced … more
