“Very nice, food average”

Very nicely renovated. Lovey rooms and beautiful view. Food average both in food market and the one. Very crowded in food market some nights. Nice that the wrist band is key, and sunbeds for ecensia. Recommend for families with small kids, older kids might want more stores/nigtlife etc.

We have just returned from 7 nights here. It was our first stay and I have to say we were very impressed. The hotel is very modern and clean. The location is great- with the easy access to the beach and also the shops that are nice to have a browse around. The buffet is very good- plenty of choice and tasty. The a la carte was also very nice. A good selection on the drinks menu. It’s a very accessible hotel, with nothing be too far apart. We were on the third floor and had a beautiful sea view. Liked how your wrist band was also the room key- as we are notorious for losing our room cards! We were a large group of family (18 of us) aged between 10 months and 72! All in all worth a visit and we’d definitely consider returning!

Wonderful winter break. We travelled as a family of 3 generations for a week before Christmas. Prior to going we had read a number of reviews that appeared to be a cause for concern. We found these negative reviews misleading in regard to what we actually experienced. Whilst there we were told that it had been closed for refurbishment and only reopened 3rd December. The whole place felt very new, clean and organised. It was not full for our fist 4 days but filled up the weekend before christmas. We were pleased to have experienced it before it filled up. All staff were great. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable. One of major concerns was that there were some reports that the pools were cold. It is true that in December outside pools can be cold but the heated pool was definately heated. Simply swim in the cold pool and then into the heated. Food was good. Our only criticism was the fuss around booking the complimentary meal in the restaurant, The One. The inhouse booking stations prooved less than reliable, much better to speak to a human. We also thought that although there was table service the food was no better than the ordinary food market where we ate all our other meals. The beach, dark volcanic, is right outside the hotel. We would visit again but perhaps at the start of December.

We stayed at this hotel a few weeks after reopening following refurbishment. After reading reviews from a week earlier we were worried about staying here however loved our stay. The hotel has been decorated to a nice standard. Half an hour to check in which seemed standard to us when there was half a bus of people got off there and we were at the end of the queue. We stayed on the standard all inclusive basis and did not upgrade. Food was standard for all inclusive, we could always find something to eat and enjoyed what was provided most nights. The hotel serves branded alcohol. Staff friendly and happy to help, they were lovely to our little boy. We stayed with our 3 year old who enjoyed the kids splash area. Quiet location with lovely views. I booked myself a facial and massage on the last day which was lovely, thank you to Karina at the spa for my treatments. The rooms were changed daily and fresh towels provided, the cleaning staff in the hotel seemed to be working around the clock and did a great job in our opinion. I think some of the reviews on here are being very nit picky as the only concerns we had was the fridge not working in our room which wasn’t the end of the world for us so we didn’t report this and one lift being out of order when we arrived however this was quickly fixed. Our holiday was good value for the money we paid and we would definitely consider staying here again.
