“Couldn't have asked for more”

I have just returned from the most incredibly relaxing 10 days at the Princess Taurito Hotel. This was my fourth visit and it felt so good to return after missing out on my visit last year due to the closure. Renovations Firstly the renovations have been executed to the highest standards, the changes are very inviting and make for a welcomed improvement in all areas. You walk into the most relaxing calm space as soon as you walk through the doors. The reception area is now in the middle of the floorspace and there is ample of seating available with a comfy calm atmosphere. Room Experience Esencia Junior Suite - This room didn’t disappoint - located on the second floor pool side which offered the most amazing views of the pool area and sea views. The suite itself was wonderfully spacious with the most spectacular interior. The Restaurants & Bars The Food Market (main downstairs restaurant) again has improved due to the renovations, there is ample of seating of which you are offered a choice of inside or outside as you are guided to your seat by the incredible staff. There is so much choice of food from salads, live chefs cooking stations (meat and fish), pasta, pizza, desserts, cheese and so much more. From my point of view you would never go hungry… Having the Esencia package meant that I could eat breakfast and dinner in The One restaurant - there was no need to book for breakfast but your place for dinner needed to be booked 24 hours in advance via the app or with a staff member. I have to admit I felt very fortunate to have this option of dinning. The menu in The One also offered plenty of choice- starters and dessert where self service with the main being order and bought to your table be the staff. Outside Area The garden area is just a beautifully kept as it has been on previous visits (kudos to the gardeners who maintain all of the gardens and plants throughout this hotel), sadly there is no longer any seating in this area apart from the few benches along the path. I used to love sitting in this area reading a book and listening to the waves. Don’t worry though as there is plenty of seating and sun loungers poolside and on the pool level. I particularly liked the comfortable sofas and chairs as I’m not one for lying on a sun lounger. I also loved the style of seating down by the gym entrance. Staff What can I say, every single one of them works so hard to make sure you have the most wonderful holiday. From the reception staff to all the restaurant and bar staff. To the cleaners and housekeeping teams. To the maintenance, lifeguards and entertainment team and all those other staff that us guests probably never even see during our stay. Special shout out from me to Julia, Victor and Yousef who’s names I managed to remember - there were a few more that I didn’t manage to get their names but they always made an effort to say hello and ask how I was when I saw them so thank you. Final Thoughts I cannot recommend this hotel enough, I have never had a bad time when I have been here and I am hoping to return again next year. I’m certainly going to miss my Irish Coffee descafinado at 11 o’clock that’s for sure! But seriously I have totally relaxed and been looked after and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you. 💙

Well time to go home but what a fantastic holiday we have had. Arrived & had emailed before arrival to ask to upgrade to Esencia. Yurena & Kristian were so helpful nothing too much trouble. On checking in we were upgraded but to a junior suite & we weren’t disappointed it was lovely & spacious. Jack & Jill sinks lovely walk in shower plenty of hanging space & drawer space. We received a complimentary bottle of cava from the hotel & a second from Kristian on reception what a lovely touch & great start to our holiday. The wristband being the access to your room is fantastic & should be brought in at all hotels. All the staff work hard and are very pleasant and make it an enjoyable holiday. Restaurants - as Esencia we could have breakfast & dinner in The One you have to book for dinner 24 hrs in advance however. Dining in there was very pleasant very peaceful & relaxed plenty of space at both sittings. We found the evening menu limited if you don’t like seafood/fish but what we had was lovely. Starters are buffet style & limited if you don’t like fish/seafood. Desserts were lovely fresh fruit & pastries galore. Some foods were lukewarm but a microwave if felt it wasn’t hot enough for you. Amado Julia, Alejandria, Diego & Natalia in The One were fantastic making our dining experience even better so thank you. Food market- we had lunch in here never had an issue always found something to eat. Pool - as Esencia you have an exclusive area with padded sun beds which was ideal for us. The staff regularly came round checking only Esencia guests who had paid for the upgrade were using them which we thought was good. There is a no towels on sunbeds before 10am policy unless you are staying on them. If you leave towels on beds they are removed again a policy that is implemented. Plenty of sunbeds throughout the whole area so not an issue anyway. Animation team- have to say they work hard we have to mention Alvaro he was a gem as were all but he stood out to us. Esencia upgrade - is it worth it.. yes in our opinion it was definitely worth it. Would we return … most definitely & look forward to returning in Dec. Thank you for a fantastic holiday all of you. We've just returned from a fabulous week at The Taurito Princess. We've stayed a few times and loved the recent refurbishment. We upgraded to an Escencia room which was definitely worth the money. All of the restaurants were good but it was lovely being able to eat at The One with table service and such a lovely setting. The staff were so friendly and helpful as always. The hotel was clean and had everything we needed. I treated myself to a sports massage and it was the best I've ever had! A perfect week to relax and recharge. Thank you so much!

Spectacular. Ignore anything negative. Immaculate room, charming staff and food excellent. We love it, regular visitors to GC but this kicks the nuts off of anything else. Soooooo happy we took the chance. 100% We did do the upgrade but to be fair you have the choice but still fabulous either way. … more

“Won’t be returning”

We have just arrived home after 7 days. This has been about our 6 th time at this hotel. The hotel has been refurbished since last year, although the hotel looks really nice the rooms are nice but I found the lack or should I say no drawer space at all only shelving which I don’t like. The shower was amazing. And the main thing they have no piano bar anymore which was the best thing great atmosphere, but now it’s just a room with TVs no atmosphere at all. The entertainment is now outside and not very good this year. It gets quite chilly at night so not a good idea. And the other thing was being segregated from sun beds near the heated swimming pool unless you upgraded to gold band. And the best thing was hardly anyone on them the whole time we were there. The dining room looks nicer than before but we found most of the food was only warm. Unfortunately we won’t be returning again
