The hotel is a very impressive size and the lobby is like a cathedral. There are a vast number of rooms and we were in a very nice room but with the view of a half finished car park. I’m sure there were better pool or garden views but that’s what we had. So the good bits The staff are excellent very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are spacious with a large bathroom with shower and bath. Fully equipped. Dressing room with again all you need. Room service is very good and quick surprisingly as we were a long walk from the lobby. The restaurants are very good with plenty of choice and a good variety. The Al A carte restaurants were fabulous quality but not such a large selection of meals to choose from. The hotel gave us a room to shower and change with a dinner voucher as we were travelling on a late flight which was a bonus! We were only there for 4 nights and although it’s not the kind of holiday we normally go on we did enjoy it. The bad bits The hotel is very large and we walked and walked. It was an effort to get to the right place on time. It’s not near shops or any bars or restaurants so to get out and about you would either walk for 20 minutes or get a cab . The shops available were very much bucket and spade shops or high end jewellery shops. You can go to the other 2 sister hotels which are nearish but again a long walk. We did have a problem with glasses and cups etc. If you have a coffee in one of the many places around the plaza ( square in the centre of the hotel) you can’t take your glass or cup with you so if you had dinner in one restaurant and ordered a coffee you couldn’t have it outside in the square that went gif drinks too. We did notice some of the staff making guests bring back glasses or cups. Obviously a logistical problem if you have different styles of glasses or cups in different areas. The ‘shows ‘ at night were very amateurish especially a magic show which would have been booed off at a kids party! We saw a group torture and mangle some old favourites with made up lyrics as they went along. There was one 3 piece that were very talented musicians but the singing wasn’t great. The ‘singer’ was an excellent guitarist but should have got a singer. The fridge in the room was so small that it would only hold 6 small bottles and obviously not your own! No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. No shop or place to buy a bag of crisps or nuts etc just over priced room service. In 4 days we spent €139 on coffees extra bits and a few drinks. Which wasn’t bad I suppose but a lot of € 3 bottles of water that we would have had in the fridge in the room if it were a normal size. The main problem for us was the fact that it advertised a spa. We don’t go on the beach so we would have gone in the spa but it was €43 for 3 hours ! So we felt cheated by this and didn’t go at all. For the 2 of us it would have cost € 350 plus for our stay ! I’ve never stayed at an hotel where they advertise the spa as a feature and then want to charge for it. Treatments yes but a sauna or steamroom no.

Second visit to Villa Del Conde after visiting last year. Something we have never done before but enjoyed it so much we came back. It was just as good to be honest. We had a room in the same block as last year (In The Quiet Area) which was Great. Its a warm and friendly Resort where the the Staff are just the Best. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Everyone is so polite and always with a smile or a friendly face. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. We put in a request for an iron and tea/coffee making facilities on arrival as a request front the Front Desk. this was actioned straight away. The small things on holiday make the difference and this is what makes writing a review so easy. Please visit you will not be disappointed We can not recommend the Resort more highly. We hope in the future to visit again

“FANTASTIC HOTEL!”

This visit was the second time we stayed at Villa del Conde. As the first time we visited, this second time was also very good. Very nice hotel. Friendly, helpfull personel. Very good breakfast and superb rooms. Swimmingpools are perfect and more than enough sunbeds to chose the spot you like ... more

This visit was the second time we stayed at Villa del Conde. As the first time we visited, this second time was also very good. Very nice hotel. Friendly, helpfull personel. Very good breakfast and superb rooms. Swimmingpools are perfect and more than enough sunbeds to chose the spot you like most. Nice liveshows in the evening (musicconcerts, circus acts, etc.).

“Spa”

Nice, basic spa. Clean and tidy but my gripe was that you have to wear a hair net in the spa. In 30 degrees this is not really a pleasant experience. The salt water pool was nice and relaxing but it really dries out. Enjoyed it but i wouldn’t return
