What a wonderful place to have a holiday. We have just come back from Gran Canaria and have had the best stay. On arrival we were a lot later due to a delayed flight but the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were quick to explain things to us and checking us in, as they could see we were tired. As we missed dinner, they also made us up some food . The staff throughout the stay were very friendly. They helped us with a later checkout due to us having a night flight. If we were unable to check out later then they also offered to give us another room to have a shower and freshen up. The food was delicious. We did find that it was quite a bit of the same foods after a few days of being there but we couldn’t really fault it as it was always tasty and hot/warm. The rooms were really nice and very clean. Overall the whole hotel was spotless. The entertainment was also good. My partner took part in aqua aerobics a couple of times and really enjoyed this, the gentleman was fun and welcoming. There was also a guitarist and violinist around the pool which was different and enjoyable to listen to. The night time entertainment was always a live singer which we enjoyed listening to and can listen from your room. We did also use the gym a couple of times. It was busy in the morning and is only small bit there are a variety of equipment. We went before lunch and before dinner when it was quiet. Again, very clean. We’ve had a great stay and would not hesitate to come back if we come to Gran Canaria again, thank you very much!

PAY FOR ALL INCLUSIVE AT THE HOTEL €15pp per day !!!! Lovely hotel kept clean to the highest standard rooms are very modern and internet is accessible throughout the whole hotel and surrounding areas. Have to pay an extra for Bali beds (won a day on them for free from bingo ) entertainment isn’t the liveliest however the nightlife is a short taxi ride away. Hotel provide shuttle bus to beach areas however they aren’t at the best times. Food is good but repetitive over the course of the days you are there so you can get bored of it quite quickly a lot of pork options which is annoying for someone who doesn’t eat pork so be mindful of that. Two options for all inclusive eg top shelf liquor all inclusive plus. Rooms are modern spacious and very clean and bed is really comfy. Reception staff are very nice and accommodating. Not much to do at the hotel during the day there is one girl that comes around doing activities not much for children. NO floats allowed in the pool which is annoying as it’s nice to sit and relax in the floats more of an adults and small babies hotel then folders/middle/older children. Overall really enjoyed my stay and would return/ recommend

Just had a lovely ten day break and must say the hotel is spotlessly clean the entire staff work so hard all day long keeping the hotel clean special mention for the pool side toilets amazingly clean for there location and amount of use. We stayed in an adult only suite which was quite big and also cleaned spotlessly every day the adult only area is very quiet a bit too quiet for our liking but ideal for the mornings that encounter hangovers the small pool is ideal for a quick dip to awaken the senses. The reception staff are very helpful and full of great information if required and speak very good English so communication wasn’t an issue. The food was ok and we found something to eat at each meal time and had no complaints but have had better on other all inclusive breaks but saying that there was always plenty and was replenished quite quickly. The hotel is quite far by foot to the nearest bars and restaurants but taxis are quick and cheap Round €7 euros to either maspalomas or playa de ingles hard on the feet in the heat. If you’re looking for a very relaxed stay in a lovely clean hotel pick Kumara you won’t be disappointed. Thanks team kumara for enjoyable stay.

Just back from 7 days staying at this hotel celebrating our wedding anniversary and birthday We were disappointed that when upgrading to adults only junior suite all inclusive that we STILL had to pay extra for the use of the safe, not a returnable deposit as in previous hotels. Pool towels to be changed 1 euro… normally free or with refundable deposit. Most disappointing was that you had to pay to use the beautiful Bali beds!! Also, I enjoy a cup of tea after sunbathing… no Kettle provided in room… you can hire them though at a daily charge!! However if you do, once you have used the one bottle of water provided.. the hotel policy is to not provide any more during your stay! Never heard anything like it. You have a coffee machine with pods and two milk… but once used not relished. I don’t like coffee. We ended up walking to the supermarket and supplies… if I wanted to go self catering I would have booked it. Spoke to the jet2 rep during our stay and although sympathetic pointed out that it doesn’t show any kettle in room. I would have liked Jet2 to have paid for the use of kettle rather than give me £120 voucher of my next holiday… that I won’t be booking with them. The location is the biggest deal breaker… nothing to walk to in area… and the surrounding area isn’t very pleasant once you pass the golf courses… about 50 min to and hour to nearest bars and restaurants. Sadly this was my first and last time booking with Jet 2 as they seem to encourage hotels that have a two tier all inclusive and are happy for there customers to be made to feel inferior when told ‘no you can’t get a drink from that bar as you are only all inclusive’ When we paid extra for room upgrade and adults only… we were very unhappy with that comment. Sadly we will revert back to TUI for next holidays.
