Lovely hotel amazing staff beautiful food enjoyed my stay here and certainly would come back 11 days at the hotel is not long enough definitely would stay longer all staff are polite and very friendly reps are amazing I would definitely recommend

I stayed here at the end of June for a week with my partner and overall was a good experience. The scenery is beautiful and looks like the advertised pictures. There are a lot of sunbeds around the resort, but the ones on top of the artificial sand/stones are more uncomfortable as the floor is extremely hot! We tried the spa which is usually €10 per person but in our case as one of the facilities was broken we paid €8 each. The pool in the spa is small and shallow but still nice and relaxing. Would be nice if there was more music especially in the adults only area as there is not much of an atmosphere there. Also needs more sun beds in the adults area. Our room was well-sized and had a balcony with a nice view. All of the staff were professional and eager, particularly the entertainment team. My partner enjoyed the activities throughout our stay, like volleyball, rifle shooting, water polo etc… There is a vast array of food, and it is all well presented but as I am more of a fussy eater found it a bit repetitive, but that is not the fault of the hotel. My partner found the food ideal as he is less fussy! Cocktails and wine are not great to our personal opinion as they come through a machine but the other drinks are decent. Slushy machine is often too liquidy and not very thick at all, more like the consistency of any other drink. All shots are very large measurements, must be about 70ml so is ideal for those who drink. I would recommend this hotel.

We arrived at 11pm approx to the hotel and got checked in quite quickly. Unfortunately the all inclusive had finished by 11 and we were kind of hungry / thirsty. We did get told however down in the restaurant we could find some food which we were surprised about after having read other reviews. The selection was salad options / bread / sandwiches which we really didn’t mind given the time of night. We had 1 bottle of water in the room (big one). Rooms: We stayed on the Tabaiba side on the 3rd floor. Room was renovated and lovely. Air con isn’t amazing as other reviews have said but we weren’t boiling hot so this didn’t affect us too much. Beds were comfy however could’ve done with more pillows as they’re quite thin in my opinion and only get one. This didn’t affect our sleep too much. Nothing more to say about the room is was perfect for us and was cleaned every day by the cleaners. Facilities: This could be a long one but worth a read if you’d like an insight to the hotel before booking or arriving. There are 2 sides, tabaiba side is catered towards adults only with the adults only pool, gym, spa, entertainment etc. The Maspalomas side was catered towards familys, with the kids slides, snack bars and theatre for entertainment. We tried abit of both and overall we just felt the entertainment lacked. As a couple in our mid 20s, we found it strange that once 11pm hit, everything was shut down and you were basically pushed out or felt the need to leave as it was so quiet! I understand people have children, but if you’re like us and like to drink / dance and have a laugh, this place might not be for you. We found people around us always going to bed early which we aren’t used to when going away. This was especially more difficult if you eat a bit later as by the time you eat and get out to entertainment you may only have an hour or 2 before they push you out. As soon as 11pm hits its shut down, lights out and quieten down! Even the balcony lights go off so you can’t take a drink back to your balcony for a nice drink after. The swimming pools and the hotel grounds truly are beautiful like others have said, it’s so aesthetically pleasing. It’s huge and very well looked after. You cannot fault the cleaners, they work really hard and it shows. They’re also very polite and always say hello when passing by! You’ll never have to rush for a sun lounger there’s so many here but as our stay extended it did get busier. All inclusive isn’t totally all inclusive. If this bothers you, you can upgrade but we honestly don’t think it’s worth it. Unless you require bottled water, waffles or premium alcohol, I think you’ll be just fine on the standard. You can refill water bottles at any of the bars / drink stations. We didn’t mind the local spirits and never felt the need to get waffles. Food was hit and miss in our opinion. The main restaurant appears to have lots of food but actually everything is doubled up on each side of the counter, so when you walk around it’s the same options. English breakfast options good but beware the food can be cold. We had hoped for more variety especially with meat. We ate well in the snack bars lots of fresh salad options or burgers/ hot dogs but if you’re after more than this standard, you won’t get it. Give the Asian and Italian a go if you want to switch up the food abit, we were disappointed it was still a buffet service and not a la carte which you normally get from all inclusive special restaurants. We booked via TUI and did a few excursions which were our saving grace. The pools and animation activities become repetitive along with food options. Getting out and about really helped us and made it more exciting. If you like music in the day time, don’t expect too much when laying around by the pool as they don’t play any unless the animation team are doing something. We took a speaker and played some music next to us which changed the atmosphere and even people around us were pleased to hear some music! Why would it be so hard to have some background music or have something more catered towards adults who are here to have a good time? All in all I think this place is great for families with children and for the price it has a lot to offer to them. We however as a couple, probably wouldn’t return on the basis of what I’ve said in this review. We still had a nice time, as you just make the most of it! But this hotel was just lacking for us in a few areas and we needed more. I think we were very underwhelmed and bored 90% of the time. You can’t please everyone and we are aware of this. Wouldn’t recommend for couples, or people who like to have fun in general. This hotel is lacking and needs some changes to make it better in our opinion. Next time we would book somewhere else with more entertainment for adults, and I would definitely pay more for something nicer.
