I travelled here with my sister (we are in our late twenties/early thirties). We had such a lovely experience overall and would 100% return. The food choice was great (we only ate in the main restaurant). and was very good quality for a buffet, with lots of options at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel grounds were stunning and very clean. We enjoyed the drinks and the service was good too. The atmosphere in the hotel was great, with there being entertainment aimed at both adults and kids. We also never struggled to get a sun lounger. The hotel is a bit out of the way but taxis and buses are cheap. During the trip, we went to the beach which was beautiful, to see the Sand Dunes, visited Blue Marlin Beach Club, went to some nice restaurants and bars and went to Puerto Rico which I would recommend as this area had good restaurants and shopping. This was my first time in Gran Canaria and I loved it as a place too. We found the hotel to be in a decent location if you don’t mind a bit of travel to places. We also used the hotel spa and enjoyed our treatments. I would say some negatives were the room was a bit dated (we stayed in the Maspalomas end of the hotel and according to other guests the rooms are nicer in the Tabitha end), bed was quite uncomfortable and I think you should get free entry to the Italian and Asian restaurant even if you are on a shorter trip; as we were only there for 4 nights/5 days, we did not get access to this. Overall, a great holiday and we are looking to return next year with more of our family.

We have just returned from this lovely hotel, it was our first holiday with our little one who is just under a year old. Being the first time with our baby going abroad, we had read a few negative reviews about facilities for baby EG kettle etc. but we had no issues with obtaining hot water from the bars at any time of day. Adequate travel cot was provided and we had all we needed for her. We had a lovely time and have already said we would certainly return to the hotel, the pools weren’t warm enough for her to go in but we did expect this travelling in December so we would perhaps go in the warmer season next time. The food was as expected for an all inclusive buffet, my parter is more on the fussier side and did end up eating chips and a variety of meat each night so it depends what you like. We went to the Asian and it was such lovely food, fresh sushi and broke it up from eating at the buffet. The room was big enough for the 3 of us, the fridge in our room wasn’t working (we didn’t need it so didn’t report it) and we did find it frustrating that is was 2 beds pushed together as our little one ended up with us most nights and almost always nearly slipped down the gap as they drifted apart extremely easily. The staff were all super friendly and always chatted to us, reception was always very helpful. Definitely venture to the supermarket 5 mins outside the hotel, as we were stung massively with the market in the hotel paying nearly 4 euro for a bottle of water (first night and needed it for baby milk)!. Overall we would definitely return, and suggest it to friends and family too. Thankyou!

We visited this hotel in December. Weather was mixed between cloudy/rainy, quite windy. 2 days out of 7 were clear sky’s. Rooms are basic quite small but clean. Cleaners didn’t clean daily however. No kettles or drinks in the rooms which was disappointing. Bottled water was not left by cleaners. Food was very nice. Breakfast the same daily as to be expected however evening meal was varied. We found something for everyone with a party of 10 ranging from 7 years to 83. Drinks are very good. Branded alcohol available. Bar staff are friendly. Pool staff were very rude. Kids were not allowed any for of floats or pool balls. Constantly blowing their whistles at them. They loved the kids pool which had great slides. Changing pool towels can be inconvenient. Staff were also rude. I wouldn’t say there is a lot to do. Entertainment is very poor. No music or much going on at all. Porte de Morgan is worth a visit on Fridays as the have lots of markets on. No beach near the hotel. Maspalomas is about 30 minute walk however apart from some shops and cafes not much there. A very pretty town. We made the most of the week however will not be returning and would recommend visiting another hotel.

Just had two weeks here and unfortunately, we will never go back. This is a real shame because it has a lot going for it. Sadly the cons outweigh the pros. But let’s start with the positives. The bed was probably the most comfortable I’ve had in any hotel and the rooms were a good size with pleasant décor. Two usb ports and plug sockets on either side of the bed were fantastic. The WiFi was very good throughout the hotel and in the grounds. It doesn’t allow you to download anything like films but if you’ve got enough data most of GC has 5g. The staff on the whole were all lovely. The food in the buffet restaurant was very good with a lot of choice and imagination used. The grounds are stunning and everywhere is clean and tidy. Smoking isn’t allowed on the sunbeds or bar areas – there are designated areas for it. I asked for extra hangers and these were put in my room by the time I got back later in the day. Also asked for extra pillows and again these were provided. Unfortunately they were for a superking bed so too wide and not a lot of use! You’d have thought the cleaners would have realised that! The pillows by the way are way too soft. Our safe wouldn’t open one day – after a call to reception someone came within 10 minutes. Now for the cons! This is predominantly a family hotel with no regard to people wanting a peaceful relaxing time. I have never seen so many babies and young children at any hotel I’ve stayed in. There is an adult only pool which is far too small. If you weren’t there by 9am you’d struggle to get a sunbed – and many of the sunbeds were broken and really uncomfortable. There is nowhere in the evening to escape from the constant screaming children or kids running around. I’m sure an adult only bar/area could easily be sorted. The children at meal times in the buffet restaurant are a nightmare. They’re in the way and the noise is something else! We ate once at the Asian restaurant and then cancelled the next reservation we had. My husband was up in the night with a bad stomach. Also the choice was really poor. On a plus side it was quieter than the buffet. If you want the themed restaurants book them the day you arrive! You get a visit to each one on a weeks stay and 2 visits to each for a 2 week stay. The Italian didn’t offer a particularly good choice either. Both of these are buffet style. By the end of two weeks you crave a restaurant with a menu and waiter service! A bottle of water is only provided on your arrival. Then you can refill your bottle at the bar areas. It’s a slow process as it’s at the same place as the soft drinks. The hotel could do with separate places for this around the hotel and grounds. The All Inclusive offering is a bit lacking. No afternoon tea/cakes etc which we’ve had at previous AI hotels. The bar finishes at 11pmfor AI – then you have to pay. No crisps, olives or the like with drinks – unheard of in Spain. Outside at the pools there is only one toilet block with 6 cubicles and a separate disabled one and this is a mixed gender facility. Ridiculous! It’s a long walk if you’re in certain parts of the pool area. We didn’t swim in those pools as I can imagine most people wouldn’t bother with the treck if you know what I mean!! There was a private staff event that took half of the adult only pool area one day so we were squashed in like sardines with most then not having an umbrella. There were other areas this could have been done in. Our flight wasn’t until 7pm so we decided to book to keep our room even at the extortionate price of €65! But the hotel informed us we couldn’t as the hotel was full – oddly I could still book a holiday with TUI for the day we were leaving – go figure! Again a total disregard at looking after us. We only wanted the room til 4pm and I’m quite sure there would be later arrivals and the room could be cleaned once we had left. They do give you a room for half an hour to shower in foc but book it early on the day of your departure or you won’t get that either! Lastly there wasn’t anywhere to leave and swap books – really don’t know why – pretty much every hotel we’ve ever been to do this. Just another example of doing the least possible for their guests. So with regret we won’t be returning to this hotel! Adult only for us in future or one that has a suitable and decent adult only pool and areas. This hotel is all about people with children so if that’s you then you’ll love it I’m sure but if like us you appreciate some quiet time I’d definitely avoid here.
