“Clean, quiet and friendly, but be prepared to walk a bit.”
Very nice hotel, quiet and out of the way. We have just spent a relaxing week over christmas in one of the suites with a roof terrace, I would recommend paying extra for the terrace if you book. Very nice hotel, quiet and out of the way. We have just spent a relaxing week over christmas in one of the suites with a roof terrace, I would recommend paying extra for the terrace if you book. The rooms were a good size and clean, and housekeeping is 5 days out of seven. The pool area was fantastic with plenty of beds and seating areas around the complex. we were room only but paid for the bar meals, which were really well priced and good quality, we had the chateaubriand and it was the best fillet I have had for a long time and was only 32 euros for 2 people. one thing I would say is that if all the rooms had a bar menu in them with prices on then they would probably get more customers eating in instead of going out. If you do want to go out it is a 30-40min walk to any of the main bar areas. There is a decent little supermarket less than 10 minutes away. We did the walk into town early in the day and got a taxi back which were only 7-9 euros and plenty of taxi ranks about. We would definately go back and would rather stay in that area for the peace and quiet and pay for taxis, rather than staying in the centre areas. If you want a great english breakfast go to the Red cow, and if you want a good irish bar try Mulligans, they also do some decent pub grub and has a large outdoor seating area, although that was a bit further round and took us 50 minutes to walk it.

Fantastic relaxing week in Maspalomas and in particular Dunagolf. Lovely, clean and relaxing spot. Initially we thoughtit was a little remote from the town, but only €5 in a taxi. All recently modernised, the apartments and grounds and public areas are of a high standard. Best of all here are the staff who honestly couldnt be more friendly and helpful, in particular the lovely Pep, who was great, and nothing too much trouble. Tbe breakfasts were great. Lots to choose from the buffet, and if you want a fresh omlette made, not a problem. The restaurant was ok if you fancieda quiet night at the resort, and again the food decent. All in all a great week and well done to the staff at Dunagolf. We stayed in apt 56 with a roof solarium, but spent most time at the pool. We would definitely be back and highly recommend Dunagolf

Don’t be put off by previous reviews! A lovely complex of bungalows, friendly staff, clean & well furnished. We stayed for 10 days and had a suite with roof terrace over looking golf course ..,, the rooms are perfectly well equipped for a nice modern but no frills apartment. Not equipped to cater a full on dinner party but had a kettle, microwave, electric ring - cutlery, glasses, Plates for 3 , couple of pans. . Toiletries provided in the bathroom. Maid service more than adequate & most days . Towels changed as & when needed. Pools & the area around was well kept, clean & always sun beds available what ever time of day you went ( no towel hogging) Pool bar food / snacks good & can be take out to room. Main areas & grounds recently refurbished. Staff all were friendly & helpful. The let down of the complex is the restaurant area is rather dated looking & didn’t really entice you in to dine there ( we were room only ) so can’t comment on Buffet. No supermarket / mini market on site … Shame but a small one about 10 mins walk away for bread, milk, juice , fresh meats & cheese etc. It is remote from maspolomas - we would not have attempted to walk in in evenings as unlit roads and I would say 45 minutes not very pleasant walk - but it’s 7/8 euros in taxi each way - reception will call one and they arrive within a couple of mins . We enjoyed the stay - would recommend as long as aware of location. For a Quiet, friendly . Relaxing week ticked most of the boxes! .

“Not a 4 star”
We weere left slightly disappointed by our stay here and must say that the complex is never a 4-star, The pool area and so on are nice and pleasant and you can always get a sunbed. We weere left slightly disappointed by our stay here and must say that the complex is never a 4-star, The pool area and so on are nice and pleasant and you can always get a sunbed. The cleaers are always nice and even if you do not want a clean of your room they always ask if you want towels. The apartment is a huge letdown. The plug sockets came out as you pulled your plug out, The shower goes cold after using it for a while. Thw wifi did not work for us whatsoever. The Tv has one English Channel and that is Sky News. One of the biggest letdowns was the fridge - it was too small - leaving us to have to put up with little room and water falling out everytime we opened the fridge. The plugs in both sinks didn't stick. The water was only cold in the main room. The window in tha bathroom was not potitioned well either. We went for dinner once in this place and whilst it was nice - it was limited compared to other places and it opened a little later than expected at half 6. We also had a very rude male receptionist in the evening when he kicked off about us taking a plastic glass out - instead of being polite and asking us not to take it out - he shouted at us. If you are intending on visiting the yumbo, it is around 0.8 miles away HOWEVER it is only near that distance if you find the shortcut that has no lighting over a rocky area. There is no lighting here late at night. Taxi is 7e, but not something we wanted every night. This is a fair and reasonable place - but not something I would be falling over to book in the future.

The facility is nice, someone obviously spent a lot renovating. However, the staff need’s training or replacement. Our room had a broken shower, toilet, and drawer. The room keys were replaced THREE times. The reservation staff were borderline rude and of absolutely no assistance in booking tours or recommending anything. The hotel offers ZERO amenities as far as shampoo, water, or even instant coffee.
