We returned for our 7th visit to this lovely hotel. The main reason for returning is the quality of the staff, food and accommodation. Steve on reception checked us in and won us over immediately with his humour and warm smile. As we hoped, the food remains top notch if not better. Smoked salmon often available for breakfast. Evening dinner still full of variety and taste. Lovely to see Daniela and she always greets us very warmly. Also great to see she has been promoted as she always works very hard to please guests. Diego still on top form with the Paella & Sangria demonstration. It was also nice to meet Luis, the guest relations manager. We should never forget all the chefs & cleaning staff who make our stays very special. Looking forward to seeing you all again in April.

“Great”

Had a relaxing stay, the accommodation excellent. We chose half board, lots of choice food wise and very good. To me though it is the staff that make this place what is, from the reception to restaurant they can’t do enough for you. Highly recommended

Quality food, great variety both breakfast and evening meal. . Entertainment good we could relax in the open air enjoying the different acts in the evening . Lovely pool great access for disabled to get in..,slope or stairs . No problem finding space to sun bath around the pool. All the staff very helpful . Lots of holiday apartments and hotels around . Walk to sea front would take half hour but Maspalomas definitely worth a visit . We would definitely return again.

We can only reiterate what previous reviewers have stated, the rooms are good, we stayed in 118 having asked for a quieter room away from smoking area. You did get a bit of foot traffic as it was the nearest room to reception, it also faced east the majority of the day it was in total shade, a bit too chilly to sit out in December if you weren't in the sunshine. All good in the room, comfy bed and pillows, nice shower and enough storage space. Don't think our bedding was changed during the week. Food very good, buffet plenty of choice. Breakfast was really nice with different stuff on hot section each day. Loads of pancakes, churros, muffins doughnuts to choose. Chopped fruit was lovely as well. The usual array of cold meats, cheeses and lots of things I'd never seen on a breakfast buffet as well. Entertainment was excellent, 5 nights out of 7 (we just ate out on the night without entertainment) The male/female duo hyped to be latin flavour were a bit of a damp squib as they just did dreary cover versions, all others were great especially Dukes Band who were there on our last visit 5 years ago. Now the reason we didn't give 5 is (in opposition to the other reviews) was the customer service, twice we had reason to visit reception with a couple of niggles, both times we were assured our complaint would be followed up and that someone would come and see us, but we were never approached by any customer service manager and had we not actually spoken to Louis while in the restaurant I don't think anyone would have followed up on our complaints. Sometimes when establishments get such good reviews for their customer service there is an element of complacency that creeps in, I'm sure this will not happen in future. We did think drinks were a little expensive as well. Would we stay here again? Yes it was our second visit and we hope to return in 2025.
