Stayed for two weeks from the 16th April. This is about our 4th visit to the Sandy Golf bungalows, and it gets better every time. Fantastic quiet complex, lovely clean comfortable bungalows. All of the staff our polite, friendly, smiling and hard working. The cleaners were amazing and nothing was a problem, the gardeners maintained the gardens to a high standard, the pool area and pool bar were also very clean with friendly staff. a very warm welcome on arrival at reception and we was soon checked in with all the information we needed. Reception was very helpful during our stay. we cant thank you all enough for the hard work you all put in to make our holiday that bit more special and we will be returning next year. Just back from a week at Sandy Golf Bungalows and it is perfect for a relaxing break. A big thank you to the reception team for accommodating our request for a sunny terrace, bungalow 59 got the sun from 11am to 7.30pm. The bungalows are well equipped with kettle, coffee machine, fridge with freezer compartment, good sized toaster and 2 cooking rings. The hotel was full so couldn’t get a late checkout but we were provided with fresh towels and the courtesy rooms are well equipped. The pool area is lovely, always plenty of sunbeds and the pool a nice temperature. The pool bar offers reasonable priced sandwiches and drinks but a happy hour may encourage more people to use. Rooms serviced regularly and all staff are friendly and accommodating On site shop in Green golf is convenient but I thought it was expensive. Not many restaurants close by and those that are close around 10pm but a €6 taxi takes you to Playa del ingles or Maspalomas Thank you for a lovely stay and I hope to return

“Again very pleasant stay”

Been too the sandy twice so far this year and are booked to go back in September the gardens are lovely all credit to the gardener the reception staff are always helpful thanks to Samuel and Mabel and the cleaner rachel was excellent looking forward to seeing them all soon

We arrived at 11 pm After a long flight from Glasgow we had to check in across the road at green golf where we stayed last year. We already knew this and had brought water for a coffee and a sandwich. A welcome bottle of water would be nice( hotel take note) it would have made things even more welcoming. Check in was quick and smooth, and our request for a bungalow that was away from reception and got sun all day was accommodated (thanks for this it was appreciated). When we arrived the bungalow hadn't been cleaned properly but as it was 11pm we waited till morning . Our complaint was dealt with swiftly with cleaners and management showing real professionalism. We were given a free bottle of wine( we don't drink alcohol but the kind gesture was really appreciated. So first impressions weren't as good as we experienced last year at green golf as their bungalows consisted of 2 floors. What made this hotel so special was the peace and quiet and the wonderfully patio we spent a lot of time on eating our lunch and sunbathing. It has a table and chairs, a sun canopy and sunbeds. The amount of birds and even hedgehogs which visited us most nights were amazing. We grew to love the sandy golf , the cleaning staff ( Sandra) were top class who always chatted to us every day and was a hard working lady, as was all the hotel staff who always made a point of talking to us ( this goes a long way to making you feel valued). We knew our way around maspolomas and the surrounding areas as we had visited last year. We spent time in mogan at the market which was lovely , also olaya del ingles and melarones and made a point of going inside the lighthouse to educate ourselves on the history. We went bed and breakfast same as last year but if we are going again we would go self catering , nothing wrong with breakfast but we found that we could have eat breakfast or lunch on our porch and that would have been less time consuming than going across the road for breakfast . In fact we missed it 3 mornings out of 12 as we just wanted to chill and take our own time. We got a late check out ( thank god) as our pick up time was 7pm , the hotel wasn't busy when we were there. Sandy golf is a special place which is really relaxing and so full of trees and flowers you really get the feeling you're in a really nice forest. We will be back and found it so so relaxing .
