“Confortable stay in a modern place”

It was very nice to stay at a confortable and well renovated tastefull place, which can be tricky tricky to find in Maspalomas !

Good location for the hotel, walked to the main beach and to faro lighthouse without much issue. The check in process was simple and friendly staff. The rooms had complimentary water, fridges and comfy beds only thing that was lacking was a little table for the balcony. The night time entertainment wasnt too loud with the balcony shut for putting baby to sleep. The breakfast was excellent with a large selection and he coffee machines were good. Lunch was nice they had similar things to the evening menu we only ate in once as we were half board but the hotel lets you switch the evening meal to lunch if you wanted to go out for dinner which is good because the last barcelo hotel we stayed in didn't have this option. Dinner was good a lot of the same foods but that's the same everywhere unless you go somewhere with a few themed restaurants. They did have a couple of themed nights one being a mexican style with tortillas burritos etc which was good and then one an Italian style with bruchetta which was really tasty too. Found the meat to be really tasty and tender in the stews and always chips chicken and pasta pizzas. The desserts were especially good here. Nice pastries and cakes along with lots of fresh fruit. The only let down was the drinks service at mealtimes. With being half board you get forgotten about once they take your first drinks order. And you aren't allowed anything other than beer wine or pop which is a bit boring on holiday. The breeze bar area is good however they don't offer food to non all inclusive guests. The pool areas were nicely looked after and the kids area well equipped. The lifeguards at the kids area really friendly however there was one on the main pool who didnt seem as friendly when I went to collect the towels - might have been having an off day.. Staff in general were so lovely and helpful with everything.

The majority of the hotel is delightful. Modern, airy, great facilities, two great heated pools for families… restaurant is excellent with ample food choices all cooked fresh and to a high standard. The majority of the hotel is delightful. Modern, airy, great facilities, two great heated pools for families… restaurant is excellent with ample food choices all cooked fresh and to a high standard. Staff are very helpful and polite. Entertainment is great for kids… rooms are modern and spacious. The only area for improvement is the transit areas between accommodation, hallways etc. very dated and unkept. One thing I would say - the area is a little undesirable. It’s more Maspalomas than Ingles. You’re at the top of town so everything is a bus or taxi ride away. Maspalomas is not a pleasant place to be (other than the dunes!), but if you head to Ingles instead that’s much more enjoyable. ~1 mile away. Recommend a taxi.
