Terrific holiday at the LIVVO Koala gardens Maspalomas late Feb/March 2024. Stayed for eleven most enjoyable nights as a couple and could not fault. The hotel reception upon arrival was pristine and very welcoming, reception staff very nice and helpful. [ In fact we were initially allocated an apartment above the kids play area which had the potential to be quite noisy and with no children with us we kindly requested, if possible, for a move to a quieter location within the complex and with no trouble whatsoever the staff obliged by moving us to a zone that was more suited and was very much appreciated. ] The apartments were very spacious, comfortable, good wardrobe space, bright and with a nice balcony also immaculately clean with high hygiene standards. Large toilet area with both shower, bath and with hairdryer. Mattress very comfortable, Fridge, kettle, coffee & tea supplied. Housekeeping attended daily if required and with a daily change of towels. In fact, a big shout out to Carmen our allocated cleaner whom was always cheery and most helpful with her information and advice on sprays for the mossies etc. haha! The choice of food and drinks within the restaurant which we found to be delicious whether be breakfast, lunch or dinner had a very good variety on offer, something for everyone, we could not fault. Out with catering times there was snacks, sandwiches & sweets at the bar readily available for the kids (as well as the adults haha!) also tea, coffee fizzy drinks, slush puppy machines self-serve that were enjoyed and well used by most especially the kids and of course the chef cooking up the burgers at the stall at various times of the day within the pool area which was very nice and appreciated. There was also a second restaurant within the complex Joey's which served nice food and nice to attend for a change of scenery. There was a choice of several pools within the complex for all to attend all very clean and attended to daily as well as a well equipped gym, electric scooter & bike hire was also available. The entertainment staff all work very hard and try their best throughout the day and night they put a good show on and are to be congratulated the kids love it. The two shows I seen for adults whilst there were terrific. As a couple whom like to walk, the area was ideal for us you have Holiday World which is very short walk from the hotel which is terrific for the kids as well as adults also Aqualand which is slightly further afield out with the complex there is short bus and taxi rides readily available from the hotel area at very reasonable cost taking you to Aqualand, Playa de Ingles, Faro de Maspalomas as well as further afield etc. and not forgetting the free bus that leaves and returns from the hotel daily in saying that they are still easy walks to shops, beautiful beaches and off course the Maspalomas Dunes within the area. Also, on certain days there is various markets next to the complex at the football parks which were enjoyable. Unfortunately, we cannot comment on the Aqualand water park which looks wonderful as we slipped up and forgot about it until the last days. Angry about that haha! A Big shout out to all staff in the Koala Gardens whom were very accommodating. All staff in this hotel whether being reception, catering, entertainment, housekeeping, maintenance etc. all very pleasant and helpful and couldn't do enough for you on a daily basis. The Livvo Koala Gardens Aparthotel is a lovely Hotel. All in all, a most relaxing enjoyable holiday we could not fault this hotel or their staff and we will definitely be back.
