First of all reading this review please take the majority of the negative reviews “with a pinch of salt” 4 days in to a 10 day stay i have to say this hotel gets so many things right! The food. As to be expected for a large operation, and I have stayed in in many all inclusive hotels on the island previously and it’s on par with Princess hotels and others alike, you have to remember they are catering for 5 or so different nationalities where their palates and cuisines can be quite different we are quite satisfied with the imagination, fresh fish and grilled meats in the display kitchen that are on offer, the roast pork last night was divine 👍🏻 The pool area and grounds Very good, the staff work hard to keep the area clean and tidy which shows. The only criticism is the water park pool probably needs some attention but would need draining for that. Our 4 year old plays in the kids pool which is ok temperature wise and the same depth all the way round our sun loungers next to the pool get the sun all day ☀️ The staff, very good, happy. Accommodating and smiley, the staff on the bar are always cheery even when busy. The all inclusive. I’m so glad I paid for AI plus which means I get a very good selection of premium drinks included such as JD Belvedere Vodka Remy Martin hand made cocktails and mineral water to name but a few, I would have struggled slightly on the standard AI package as I’m fairly fussy personally. Definitely worth the upgrade !! Kids club Jose, Laura and the whole team are so engaging and have given Oscar our son a great experience so far, he loves it and can’t wait to go everyday. The room Clean, fairly basic but hey let’s face it we’re on holiday and we won’t spend much time in there, really lucky to have a ground floor room with access to balcony and grassy area to play on, house keeping are again lovely and very polite. Animation team Now I have seen some varied animation teams over the years, some very poor and some quite good …. We watched an hour long rendition of Mary Poppins step in time which just so happens to be our sons favourite movie right now, bravo to the whole team the choreography and the performance was absolutely top notch it’s clear to see this animation team live eat and breathe their job. The best Animation team I have seen on holiday amazing work. Would I come back?? For sure Thank you Abora 👍🏻.
