Great hotel, lovely reception staff/welcome. Location of hotel is on a hill so not great for those with mobility difficulties. Not much around the hotel. Room was lovely and clean and was cleaned daily. The animation team were great, as were bar staff. Things the hotel can improve on: parasols! If you like the shade, you’ll struggle here unless you’re happy sitting away from the pools. Very limited beds with parasols. You can’t bring your own because of the wind, which could cause an accident. We like the sun so it didn’t bother us, but lots of people (especially those with young children) did struggle. Food could be improved also. Yes, it’s all inclusive, but does need varying. Some chicken was pink :( Our biggest grumble was the evening entertainment. It lasted about 45 mins each night and was the animation team, dancing and miming to songs. They are great dancers, but it does get boring! Little people seemed to enjoy the mini disco.

Overall we found the hotel and grounds to be extremely clean and well maintained. Our room 2216 was extremely clean and the shower was excellent. Our room was spacious and extremely comfortable. We were however a little disappointed to find out there was an extra charge to have a coffee machine in our room considering we had paid for an upgraded room. The food in the main restaurant was great and plenty of variety, there was always something for everyone to eat. However as expected on an all inclusive holiday this did become repetitive so we chose to eat out several nights. The pool does not open until 9am this has pros and cons. It certainly stops sunbeds getting reserved in the early hours of the morning but equally is a tad late when you have children to occupy and all they want to do is get in the pool. The only negatives I could say was the the pool areas do not offer much shaded areas and the snack bar was a little disappointing often the food was cold and just left in food warmers. The food could of been sat in there for long periods of time and was often left open by other guests. The staff we also incredibly helpful and always went above and beyond.

The hotel itself is probably the cleanest I have ever been to and the staff are on it in terms of keeping up to cleaning around the hotel .. it’s spotless. The pool bar is a bit of a walk from the actual pool Pool is quite cold but the kids didn’t mind Animation team are really professional and put on great dancing shows on a night .., if you’re into more interactive stuff and getting involved on a night time like you do on most holidays .. this is not the hotel for you … The Animation Team are fantastic and a special mention to Jessica & Lucas who my daughter really loved The cleaning staff are very friendly but I found one lady on reception Carla M to be very rude and cold and unhelpful .. in fact she was shocking and should not be in the job she’s in as assistant manager The hotel itself is lovely it just has a very unwelcoming atmosphere about it apart from the animation team who are great … they have it spot on … and they work very hard you can see that Food is your usual all inclusive buffet food .. great salad selection … they have a little kids section .. Also there is nothing around the hotel .. Spar is a 15 minute walk away … no shops .. you have to get a taxi to go anywhere If it wasn’t for the unwelcoming feeling I would come back as it’s a really nice hotel… Ps……If you have a late flight home .. be warned you only get 30 minutes in the shower room and they do not care how many people you have in your room …

Unfortunately a poor hotel & experience for the money paid. Unfortunately a poor hotel & experience for the money paid. I’ll start with the rooms - the room we initially were given was a joke, they should not be letting out rooms like this in a supposedly 4* hotel ☹️ I’ve attached a picture of the view - why anybody would think this is acceptable is beyond me! Complained within 20mins of getting our keys, told no other rooms available that night & someone from the reception team would contact us on our mobile number the next day between 1pm & 3pm latest. Didn’t unpack as didn’t want to have the hassle of repacking so tried to make the most of our first day (family holiday) but couldn’t relax as was anticipating the room move. By 3.15pm the next day there was no communication so I took (the long walk) to reception to be told our new room was ready but I would need to pay a €20 fee for the cleaning of the room we had stayed In The night before! Apparently this was their policy but had not been mentioned to us at all when I had complained the day before & I was not prepared to pay for the cleaning of a room that should not be ‘let out’ in the first place. I was asked if I still wanted to move? Of course I did as the original room was not acceptable - eventually after speaking with a manager it was agreed no cleaning fee would need to be made, it shouldn’t have taken the hassle & my time out of my holiday to get to this point though! Anyway, onto the new room - although a contemporary style, the grouting & general condition of the bathrooms needs looking at as there was mould present. Rooms also lack a dressing table and the lack of plug sockets is an issue. Beds were comfy. Staff were rude, unhelpful and disinterested. A shame, but a reflection on management I think. Although generally clean, there is a problem with cockroaches which were seen on numerous occasions - rooms, lift areas and restaurant area so a wide scale problem. Staff were notified but no measures taken. Entertainment is repetitive - pay for a live singer/act once or twice a week, we also felt some of the ‘dance’ routines were not particularly child friendly. Food was cheap, not hot at all & anything remotely nice/interesting was soon consumed & not replaced. The pool bar area was a nightmare - not enough staff at all on the bar so long queues always & never enough (if any) plastic cups in the self serve area. Sun beds are poor unless you can manage to get some of the newer ones (even those aren’t great tbh) & the lack of parasols is a joke for a ‘family’ hotel. We had paid to be In the ‘deluxe’ adult only block. The adult only pool area was nice but there were numerous children staying in our supposedly ‘adult only’ block - I don’t dislike children, but, if I have paid extra for adults only that is what expect, not children running up and down the corridors & crying all the time. The location was not an issue for us as we knew the area we were booking & happily got taxis to Playa del Ingles & Maspalomas. Overall, this hotel is 3* not 4*. I am lucky enough to be a regular traveller (4/5 times a year) and the question I always get asked is; would I recommend this hotel? Unfortunately, the answer is no. You can get far better for your money elsewhere & although ‘All Inclusive’ the staff were constantly trying to get extra money out of you in any which way they can.
