“THE best hotel”
We stayed herefor a week and couldn't fault a thing. Location is fantastic, on Las Canteras beach yet in the city so lots of shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep. The hotel is spotless. The cleaners are really friendly and the lifeguard on the rooftop pool is always wiping down steps etc. … more
We stayed herefor a week and couldn't fault a thing. Location is fantastic, on Las Canteras beach yet in the city so lots of shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep. The hotel is spotless. The cleaners are really friendly and the lifeguard on the rooftop pool is always wiping down steps etc. The staff- incredible! From the cleaners, to the concierge, reception, restaurant and bar they are all wonderful. Always a smile and very efficient. Special mention to Albi, Carmelo, Jessica, Suri, Jorge and Victor. Also the lovely lady whose name began with a Y but I've forgotten it. They were so welcoming and friendly, especially Albi who provided some puzzles for our son and bantered about the football with him. They are all fantastic and an absolute asset to the hotel. Please pass on our thanks to them. The food in the restaurant was fantasic. Fresh, varied and always restocked. Everything off the grill was fresh and delicious, especially the prawns. The orange juice was lovely which is a change for hotels we've stayed in previously. Another lovely touch is having the coffee machines running at dinner so you could have a coffee afterwards. Our room was on the third floor overlooking the street and had sun all day until about 6.00pm. The sea view roons looked nice but not much sun on the balcony so if you like a sunny outside space ask for a street view room. We had a big room and balcony and with 3 of us we didn't feel cramped at all. Fridge and kettle in the room as well as wine glasses and cups. Not much else needed! The sunbeds on the beach are exclusively for the hotel and the attendant is lovely. So friendly and attentive. Towels are provided by the hotel so no need to take any. We didn't have a problem getting a lounger. All in all the hotel is wonderful. We would highly recommend and will be returning.

“A Jewel on the Beach”
We have been looking forward to staying at the grand dame of Las Palmas hotels. Built in the 60’s she is an oldie but goodie. Solid 4 star with a location that can’t be beat. Right on the Paseo of Las Canteras beach it has lots of action around it but serenity within. We sprung for the best room… more
We have been looking forward to staying at the grand dame of Las Palmas hotels. Built in the 60’s she is an oldie but goodie. Solid 4 star with a location that can’t be beat. Right on the Paseo of Las Canteras beach it has lots of action around it but serenity within. We sprung for the best room available a seaside suite. Huge terrace, 2 lounge chairs and 2 easy chairs overlooking the ocean, sound of waves crashing day and night had us sleeping well. Decor is dated but lovely, bed is updated so no complaints. Huge bathroom, tons of closet and storage space. Had some service issues but the manager Alfred was very helpful. Breakfast buffet is busy. Spa, pool and beach chairs all included and well monitored so no problem getting a spot. Highly recommend this old gem.

The good Reception - Spotless, The receptionists were very helpful. Public area - Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Room - We had a Sea View Room . Love the rainfall shower with four horizonal jets . Our room was immaculately clean, well presented. Everything you expect was there - kettle. tea, coffee, safe, fridge, water, TV, slippers and robes. Also the biggest bidet I've ever seen LoL. Room Cleaning Staff - This team of staff are amazing. I can only imagine what they might have to face each day. They are always bright and smiling with a welcome and a conversation. Food - We dined half board in the Roma Restaurant which is a buffet. The food is well presented and of a very high standard. The chefs will always converse with the customers. The table staff are so customer focused and engaging. The restaurant coffee machine was on to have a hot drink after diner. Such a simple thing but so nice to see. Front and rear - The front , main entrance, was immaculate and featured car parking. The rear egresses straight onto the promenade. The Bad The room had to be vacated by 11am. Cases were lodged into a holding room, no problem. The issue came when we needed to change our clothes for our return journey home. We were offered the toilet in reception or the spa to get changed. The loo is a loo , need I say more. The spa is on the 9th floor and the lifts only go up to floor 8. My partner has restricted mobility so there was much negotiation required to secure a room for her to change in. February 2026 is already booked and we cannot wait to return ! :) Well done Bull Reina Isabel team.

“Fantastic stay”
Short 3 day trip with 17yr old son. Amazing find! Fantastic setting right on beach…. Rooftop pool overlooking sea beautiful… fab gym and spa outstanding!! the fact that all included is a bonus.., the only thing we paid for was a massage but at €55 for full body lasting 45 mins I consider good value… more

Rooftop pool overlooking sea beautiful… fab gym and spa outstanding!! the fact that all included is a bonus.., the only thing we paid for was a massage but at €55 for full body lasting 45 mins I consider good value… breakfast was great … huge selection… yes busy but seated people very quickly.. maybe in high season could be challenging… room 374… huge room .. yes overlooking street and buildings but I wasn’t here to sit on a balcony so whilst a sea view be nice prefer to spend the extra cost elsewhere… all staff so pleasant… loads of restaurants a few mins walk… previous visits to resorts in the south but never again!! it doesn’t have all the beach stuff families with kids might want but an added bonus was sun lounges and umbrellas on beach complimentary… I highly recommend if looking for a relaxing break in pleasant surroundings!
