Went for a family holiday here for the first time and I can say the overall holiday was a joy. They supplied entertainment every night which was great which lasted a decent amount of time. The staff were very friendly and interacted well with the children. Although the food wasn’t 100% to our taste (more flavour needed) there was a wide variety to choose from…. seafood to normal meet dishes…I’d recommend the butter croissants for breakfast 😋 (yum). The beach was right on the doorstep which made it effortless to attend on a daily basis if you wish…lots of room to chill and a beach food area to eat….the toilets on the beach need to be maintained better though. I great family stay here and I’d recommend it to anyone. Thank you to Dani,Juan,Predro,jorge and Nataret and the reception staff

“A perfectly nice hotel”

Nothing to really fault this hotel, especially since it's about half the price of the other bigger all inclusives further out of town. Nothing to really fault this hotel, especially since it's about half the price of the other bigger all inclusives further out of town. We hired a car from Cicar which was brilliant, no excess liability and we had landed and were driving off from the airport with cases within 25 minutes! A lesiurely 1hr 15mins drive which is far better than 2 hours on a bus and we parked up in the market place car park next to the hotel! Beware market day on Thursday and make sure you remember to move your car over to the right of the car park or they'll tow your car away and fine you!! The signs are there but easy to miss. Back to the hotel, we had one of the Xtra suites with the seperate lounge/bedroom and tons of space. The lady at check in was perhaps the most miserable looking check in lady we'd met, and the new younger girl behind her looked quite apologetic. We kept smiling and thanking her and eventually she lightened up and all was good! We then had the well documented, how the hell do we get to our room mystery tour and you could see people round the pool thinking, oh here go the next lost lot but once you know, you know of course but it's strangely set out with lifts on different layers dotted around! Food was usual canteen like but we enjoyed all of it, none was tepid as mentioned previously and I imagine in busy school holidays, finding a table could be tricky! Location is great, 2 minute walk to the beach promenade and right next to the beginning of all the shops and a really good supermarket pretty much just outside to the left. Honestly nothing to fault this hotel, the bar queues were a little long in the evening and the entertainment was the usual crooning singers. It's not a fancy plushly carpeted hotel, it's pretty functional but it's a good hotel with good food, especially the bar food and afternoon tea cakes and bits and pieces. The staff are generally all very smiley but I would say that the odd early 20's couples that turned up looked a little out of place, it's generally families and certainly married slightly older couples and retired folk because it's pretty slow paced and relaxed which is what we wanted. No complaints, especially for the price we paid using the Melia Black Friday discount in early Dec and booked the flights separately too! As long as you go with the right level of expectation, then you won't be disappointed, the resort has loads of shops and the beach is great although completely nudist allowing in all areas it seems, so I spent most of my beach walks staring out to sea rather than watch elderly nudists bending over without a care in the world! For a relaxing low key break just do it!
