Fi and rst visit to Fuerteventura, on a Easyjet Holiday. Arrived at the airport around 7pm, as there was no other Easyjet flight due by 8pm the transfer coach left the airport. It started to get dark quickly and most of the journey was in pitch black darkness, very few villages or indeed streetlights . Arrived at the hotel around 8.30 and check in was quick and as the Restaurante did not close till 10pm time for dinner. Nice room as you would expect from a Barcelo group Hotel. Next day explored the nearby town, be aware that the walk from the Hotel down to the seafront and road into town is very steep, around a 45o slope in places. The Spa was closed whilst i visited, it would have been good to have been told this in advance however there are plenty of sun beds around the pool, but they are rammed close to each other and there are no shade umbrellas, if you need shade then you will need to find a bed under the shaded wooden areas. Service at the pool bar was good , I never was in a queue for more than 5 minutes. The Restaurante is busy most of the time but again I never had a problem getting a table in the area I chose, drinks are help yourself again better than waiting for staff to serve you. One thing I did notice that different colour wrist bands were given on arrival depending on whether you had booked Half Board or All Inclusive. I noted on a number of times staff did not appear to check these at bars or indeed at the Restaurante. The Miradore bar was not busy at night and nice for a quiet drink overlooking the gardens and pool entertainment outside. The staff were friendly and spoke in passing. Overall a nice week, good weather and what you can expect froma Barcelo Hotel.

Just returned from a lovely break. The upper pool is heated, the slides and splash park are great, the animation team work hard , the food is your standard buffet. Just returned from a lovely break. The upper pool is heated, the slides and splash park are great, the animation team work hard , the food is your standard buffet. However it’s limited if you are vegan or even vegetarian. Even when it says it’s vegetarian double check. Onion soup labeled vegetarian but had meat in it. If you are half board you can upgrade to All inclusive on arrival for €12 adults €6 kids. Quite a steep slope to the beach. You can usually get a sun lounger , however, people do put their towels on them early and don’t necessarily sit on them until the afternoon. Rooms are standard. Need a little updating but clean. We had a wonderful break.

I’ve stayed at posh hotels and bad hotels.i knew, given the price I paid, that this hotel was not going to be the most luxurious in the world but also was slightly nervous given the rubbish reviews on here and the fb group. I needn’t had been. It was fine. Clean. Spacious. Food was good. Staff were polite and attentive. Sometimes, as with all inclusive resorts the food could be a bit samey, but there was plenty of choice and tasted good. Some dishes could do with being a bit hotter. Def nothing under cooked and no cockroaches, as read in some reviews. Poole lovely. Few broke roles but no health risk. Top one is heated so if coming in winter prob the pool of choice. Activities if you wish to join in. Usually family stuff. No cirque du soliel but it will do! There’s a few shops and a sports bar 5-10 min walk. Or if you walk a bit further (20 mins) a nicer town. Beach at Morro Jable is lovely. Only small complaint is I don’t think we should pay to have fresh beach towels.
