We arrived early and was warmly greeted by Chiara. We were upgraded to All inclusive plus which is top shelf drinks, cocktails and fresh orange juice at breakfast. There was a plate of cheeses and dried fruit and a bottle of water in our room when we arrived. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of hangers and extra pillows which is a plus point. It was noisy though as it looked on to the busy main road. If this bothers you then request a room with a view as I think they will be overlooking the sea. Also some of the other guests were very noisy, slamming doors and children running up and down the corridor. The evening entertainment was good especially the magic show. I don't normally like them but these two guys were very entertaining. I think the children's disco is far too loud and the background music before and after the acts needs sorting out, same songs every night on a loop! Betty in the main bar was great and she had a smile for everyone and kept up with all the drinks orders, often on her own. She is a superstar and I hope the management appreciate her. Also Carlos and Javiera are worthy of a mention. Ardelaaziz (hope that is correct) in the restaurant and also in the main bar. He is great and works really hard. I used to work in the hotel industry as a manager and I know how difficult it can be. Now for the not so good...I think the food was disappointing and was not enough choice of hot food, unless you wanted pasta or pizza. We only went to the pool bar once as we did not particularly like it there. There was a lot of smokers on the terrace and by the pool at this hotel. Smoke was drifting into the main bar on an evening and you certainly could not sit outside without choking. We did not use the spa but the prices seemed good for a hotel, 55 euros for 55 mins massage as an example. All things considered for the price we paid it was good for a 3 nights stay.

When we arrived at the hotel, we paid for on-site parking, which was only €8 well worth it. When we arrived at the hotel, we paid for on-site parking, which was only €8 well worth it. When checking in we were warmly welcomed at reception and were informed that we had been selected for a free upgrade to all-inclusive Plus . Which was a lovely surprise. In our room was also a welcome gift too😊 The pool area was really relaxing and had plenty of Sunbeds to choose from . The all inclusive dining area had plenty of dishes choose from all presented well . Over all a ideal hotel for a short stay or longer

“Very nice and super located hotel”

A very nice, super located hotel just next to the beach. Delicious food - a selection of sea food and different steaks every day. I also tried the SPA and highly recommend massages. The stuff in a hotel is very friendly and helpfull. I can recommend Ifa Altamarena as a holiday destination :)
