Myself and my husband visited the palace for a quick 2 night get away ( we live on the island) and I have to say I was not disappointed 😊 CHECK IN was smooth with the receptionist giving us a detailed outlook of the hotel and facilities, we were asked to choose our meal time slot - the times were not a problem and the idea was just to reduce queues at the buffet. We were then escorted to our room with a nice man who had our luggage. ROOM was clean tidy modern and very well maintained. We had a shared pool ground floor room which was really lovely however the sun does go approx 1500 so we would then move to the main pool area for a few more hours of sunshine. Rooms have robes and slippers with a free safe and minibar (restocked and always free of charge) The key to your room was the all inclusive wrist band ☺️ brilliant idea. There is no bottles of water in the room they provide a jug for you to fill up at the many water stations ours was located a few doors up. This is a brilliant idea to reduce plastic, for 6€ you can buy a nice Iberostar water bottle. LATE CHECK OUT was 35€ for an additional 3 hours, well worth the money. FOOD was plentiful and what a choice - I am a fussy eater and was more than happy with the variety. Freshly cooked meat or fish loads of salads and loads of lovely fresh fruit. We never had to wait for food to be cooked at the live stations so in my opinion the time slot did work ( we did go in 20/30 mins early without an issue) POOLS are very clean and plenty of beds to choose from. The water is sea water and cold but ok once in. Towels are provided and can be changed during specific times of the day. One pool bar had snacks and ice creams, the other was a drinks truck. Mid morning there was aqua aerobics but that was it. We had a lady come around the pool with ice creams and vodka drinks (vodka optional) this is a nice touch. LOBBY BAR was so relaxing with plenty of seating. One team of waiters takes your drinks order and then others bring your drinks over they always bring you some snacks … nuts chocolates or crisps, another attempt to not use plastic was the edible straws 😝 they were a sherbet flavour … stir your drink and eat the straw BRILL. The rooms have blankets on the end of the beds we saw these being used to sit outside in the evening as it was quite chilly. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

There is such a beautiful view at this hotel. The staff as always were friendly helpful and exceptionally professional. There is such a beautiful view at this hotel. The staff as always were friendly helpful and exceptionally professional. Ali on reception helped us to celebrate my husband’s birthday and managing our request for an upgrade to star prestige. It was lovely - but honestly the whole hotel is so great the upgrade isn’t essential. If your a lengths swimmer you may find the pools challenging but they were always clean and not packed. The food was AMAZING again. Oysters, steak, crab, salads just wonderful. The Japanese restaurant was an event itself superb. The mattresses on the beds are super comfy. Our rooms were huge and the workshops and activities worthwhile. Hi Marlon ! Xizelea was our waitress she remembered our favourite tables, our lunch and evening drinks order. She was so smiley and wonderful. Evening bar staff Santana and Albarran need mentioning because they were always super attentive no matter how busy things were (even on euros match nights). I would love to say we will definitely go back - but with so many Iberostar to visit it may be a while. I have included photos so you can see just how lovely it is. Spa facilities and gym are five star at this resort we used both.
