We have been here a few times and always enjoyed our stay. Right on the beach where you can see chipmonks in the rocks. Sea so clear you can see little fish swimming around. All the staff from gardeners, cleaners, bar and reception, resturant staff all very cheerfull and helpfull. My husband and i always treat all staff as if friends and not servents as they are only people doing their jobs just like you and i but they do more hours and on less pay. We will always go back again. very clean hotel only thing i would say is that evening entertainment needs to be upgraded as we were disappointed.

We have stayed at the Furtventura Princess the week before Christmas as a couple and this is our honest review - picking up some of the things people have previously said. Firstly location, it is over an hour from the airport, however it was really quick getting bags and to the bus (TUI). The reception is impressive. We were allocated a room in the Escentia area which is an exclusive area, with its own pool (really nice and heated), restaurant and chill out bar. It’s quieter and nice. The room was nice (apparently a better standard than in the main hotel), very clean and the cleaning each day was good. We did get a few bugs after the first night in the room, but they were dead in the morning and cleaned up without asking. The bathrooms could do with a refurbishment - nothing wrong, just a little tired. Food was plentiful and lots of choice, but I can see what people are saying about it being a little repetitive - however the quality was excellent and having a chocolate fountain most nights was a added treat. It was great to have Pepsi Max, 7up and others on tap to get as much as you wanted and we found going to the Scirocco restaurant at lunch worked for us, with pizza, burgers, salads and hot dogs on offer. We had three places to choose from to eat for each meal. There are plenty of places to sit and lounge, so no worries about saving sun loungers - there are plenty. Sports bar in the evening was good, it would have been nice to have more selection in each TV though, rather than a couple of channels on all TVs - it would be great to get more British sport on. There is a games lounge with pool, air hockey and other games and they are between 1-2 euros to play those. The place is right on the beach which is lovely. A lounger is 5 euros each, because the hotel doesn't have a beach area. They do have birds around in the outside parts of the restaurants, but people feed them, so what do you expect - didn’t both us at all. It was also super useful to have some shops on site selling snacks, drinks, sun cream and gifts. They also had a pharmacy and doctors in site if you needed it. Only disappointment was the adults only area, which is in need of a serious upgrade. The bar area was fantastic (Sorento Bar), however, the small pool area wasn't nice and felt like an after thought and a bit seedy. There were tiles missing from the pool floor and it really needs a good makeover with planting, new loungers, upgraded pool etc. It has the potential to be as good as the other areas. Ideally the Esentia area should be adults only - it lends itself to this and would be really amazing. Anyway, overall we really enjoyed it, staff were pleasant and not OTT, it was sooooo clean and the staff work really hard to keep it like this all the time. Finally, we did get a sandstorm when we arrived, meaning the weather was a little rubbish, but after that had cleared it was nice.

“Good food/room/service but weak night entertainment so far”

Really nice experience after 2 nights . Food is really nice (great chefs), good variety, staff is friendly. We found that there is one warmed up swimming pool that warm enough to swim. Really nice experience after 2 nights . Food is really nice (great chefs), good variety, staff is friendly. We found that there is one warmed up swimming pool that warm enough to swim. Beach is nice but apparently the hotel doesn’t have their own sunbeds so you have to pay. Sauna and jacuzzi were great in chilly evenings. Kids disco was really nice and fun but surprisingly there was no entertainment in the evening except lounge music at the reception bar. We were a little disappointed as expected some show and disco on Friday night.
