On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

First time in Fuerteventura first time fully inclusive. I was a little bit anxious before going about what to expect, but that soon disappeared on arrival. Check-in was very easy. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and above all polite. The room was a little difficult to find, but we managed. We had an apartment so we could spread ourselves out, and we weren't disappointed very clean and spacious. The restaurant does get busy, but if you go after 8, it's a bit quieter. Every meal is freshly prepared and an excellent choice. You would have to be a very fussy eater not to find something delicious . There is so much to pick from. Be prepared to gain some holiday pounds. All the bars are inviting and well stocked, although the African bar is very popular, so seating is sometimes scarce. Straight next to the African bar is the beach which is stunning and the best colour sea I've ever seen. Great week away. I can't wait to go back.

Given some of the reviews we were a little anxious, and can safely say it exceeded our expectation. As a 4 star, it is great value. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Our room was great and housekeeping super quick with additional requests. We asked for extra pillows and hangers and they were brought immediately. Whilst the pool are can be a little cramped, there's a nice roof terrace over the pool bar. There was no mad rush of early towels down too. Food was great. Very varied each day and something for everyone. Food items replenished quickly and clean and fresh too. All staff were delightful and eager to please. For a good value fly and flop in the sunshine this was ideal. We would definitely go back.

We are currently on our last day of our week away and it's been fantastic. We will be returning for sure. I have written a lengthy review so hopefully i capture everything. The only part I cant comment on is the children's entertainment but from what I could see theres was lots going on and kids seemed to be happy. From the moment we arrived we knew those negative reviews were nothing for us to worry about. We arrived and received a warm welcome, everything was explained to us clearly, reception staff were great and non stop. Our room is 95 and to be honest its perfect as you are just off to the side of the pool but not to close if you want a quiet evening on your balcony or early sleep, you just a few minutes from the restaurant too. I paid for the sea view, there are other blocks apartment closer to the beach/sea but ours suits us. Rooms are a good size same as the balcony. They are lovely and clean, house keeping has come every day they are amazing, thank you. House keeping are continuously cleaning around the hotel too as well as maintenance staff on hand. The restaurant is great there is something for everyone, lots of choices. The Chef and the rest of the kitchen staff... food was spot on. The restaurant staff are so efficient they dont stop! And always smiling. You can help a bit by taking your finished plates to the bin stations but if you dont they just come and scoop it up and reset the table. Tonight we are booked in the Asian food restaurant so we are looking forward to that. Out and about Almost everything below is within 10 mins walking/strolling. No need for taxi, everything is accessible. The beach is fantastic, you can stop off at the hotels African Bar before stepping on to the sand or just stay there the bar staff just make you smile.... There is a beach bar down on the beach separate to the hotel which serves food as well as drinks, we ate there a couple of times. Walks/evening You can walk down to the African bar and turn right on to what looks like a lane with apartments facing out on to, walk to the top turn left and walk straight across, you will find yourself in an area with some shops restaurants, Spar and also a pharmacy. If you fancy a meal out go to Mama Mia they serve the most amazing steak. You can return the same way or walk back the same way but exist out on to the road by the fountain and walk the main road. Either way is just as good. If you walk out of the hotels main entrance turn left and walk up the road a few minutes you will see a sign pounting towards the right saying shopping centre follow that your upon a shopping centre and a few restaurants. African Market We went Sunday I cant remember the other day.. Head straight out of the hotel, cross the roads into the wooded area, walk through that (lots of actual paths within) cross another road and then through another small tree area and the market is down on your right next to the Police station. Theres a pharmacy shop and medical centre just to the right as you exist the main entrance too, we didn't fully explore down this way to give any further tip. Tips The resort Costa Calma isnt your typical pub after pub nightlife area, it's more of a chilled place and vibe but still plenty to do. If you need more pillows just ask. Book any spa treatments in advance as they fill up quickly. If theres something a miss or you want just ask. Enjoy your relaxing holiday.

If you are looking for value and some winter sun then Mónica beach is spot on.
