Stayed here a couple of year's ago, and enjoyed this visit even more,check-in was a breeze, very friendly and informative, the room was outstanding, massive comfortable bed, large bathroom, and the cleaning during the holiday was very good. Food was really good, the chefs work very hard, and nothing actually ran out, restaurant staff also worked really hard,so there was always a table available. Vanessa was an absolute star. We also went to the Route66 on-site,and had a great night. Pool area's were very good, and there was always a sunbed available. The beach is right on the doorstep, and a fantastic walk. Entertainment was good, and quite varied. Wi-fi was very ropey, no great signal anywhere, but least of our worries.

Had a week away where we rested and did nothing but lounge by the pool, reading and recharging our batteries. Picked Fuerteventura as the canaries get the winter sun. Hotel location- at least an hour away from the airport, not too much nearby locally, if you are staying in resort OK location, if you like to see a bit more you either have to hire a car or book elsewhere. Area is hilly and hotel is disabled friendly ish...I would say not a suitable location for someone who can't walk far. Nearby a few souvenir shops and 2 x spar shops for food if self catering. If you are looking for restaurants outside of the resort, there are a few but not much choice. Rooms- we had a double room side sea view. Comfy beds plenty of wardrobe space. Large balcony, we overlooked the restaurant, which is a bit noisy when it's open, but the double glazing is amazing and with the door closed you hear nothing outside. No tea making facilities but luckily we took our own kettle and mugs. TV either in Spanish or German 1 x English speaking ( world news) WiFi patchy...tvs are Netflix enabled however can't connect to WiFi. Towels changed regularly and bed linen on request. Shower gel, hand wash, shampoo, conditioner body lotion and hairdryer all provided. Great shower, no bath. You can stay in this hotel on a privilege basis which gets you extras, but all those in privilege scheme seem to want to use the same as rest so seems a bit pointless if you ask me, to pay over 200 pounds more. Not worth the extra. Pool- number of pools to choose from, one by pool bar is heated in the winter months very pleasant. The others were far too cold 🥶 They had a lot of ground maintenance being done during our stay however it wasnt that disruptive. Pool bar open 1030 to 1800 and does a buffet lunch (1300 to 1600) to save going to the main restaurant. We were all inclusive , when you buy a drink they record it and you have to swipe your wrist band. Seems odd when u are all inclusive, unless they are tracking what they sell for stock purposes? But adds to the queues. Pool bar does get busy, and often not enough staff on hand. Breakfast served in restaurant, all you need is available. Lunch- Pool bar or restaurant 1300- 1500 Dinner- 1830-2130 large dining room however not much choice for a big hotel you would expect lots on offer except very samey and they put a lot of one thing out to make it look like there is lots of choice...they seemed to do themed nights of a fashion however 3 nights out 7 only theme was pizza! They have an America style restaurant which 1 visit is included in a 7 night stay however only open Thurs to Sunday and was fully booked for our stay. Restaurant gets busy from 1900 onwards so either go early or sneak in the side door and u don't have to queue. Small selection of desserts same on both tables, and ice cream. Sea access is by very steep steps, clear water nice beach but strong current, Ok if you are a confident swimmer. Would I recommend yes, would I go back probably not. Decent standard of hotel.

We had 9 nights at the Tindaya hotel travelling with Jet2. We booked a room with side sea view but on arrival were allocated a room on pool level (level1) which led directly on to a lawned area. The reception process was good but would have benefited from informing us about additional charge for room safe and pointing us to the welcome drink on arrival. When we arrived at our room (126) the electronic key did not work. A room attendant tried to help us but we had to return to reception to have our key programmed. The room was clean and so to was the bathroom. The beds were large and comfortable for us. We were disappointed that whilst we had a kettle in our room and two cups there was no milk tea bags or sugar. This apparently is an extra charge which again was disappointing. We bought our own tea coffee and milk locally. I think if you ask you can pay for tea and coffee in your room or it is included if you have a "privilege" room booking. The major complaint we had was that we had not been informed by Jet2 or the hotel that there was tiling work going on around one of the main pools. The noise of the impact hammers removing old tiles was constant for the whole time of our stay. We decided not to complain as it was obvious that the tiling would not be stopped and even moving rooms would not have been any better as the noise was at the poolside. The food was ok but some food was tasteless. 9 days was enough to get bored with the food. Breakfast was generally good and evening meal was ok. There was no facility to have a coffee with the evening meal other than leave the restaurant and go to Mikes? The hotel would be good for children as the splash park was very good. There is a padel tennis court available which we used once but you have to book this before breakfast to ensure ypou get a booking. On a couple of days the tennis was booked out to the entertainments team but they did not use it which seems a waste. There is also a number of boules courts and a 9 hole crazy golf course. The hotel advertising shows an indoor pool but this is only available if you pay for the experience of using the spa. The gym equipment is a bit dated but ok. The hotel does have access to a small sandy beach accessed through an underground walkway from the hotel to some wooden steps leading down to the beach. The hotel is well situated for the Costa Calma beach and the Sotavento beach which is great. For watersports guests there are good facilities for windsports on cosat calma beach (Ion Club) and alos Sotavento beach (Rene Egli centre). My preference would be the Rene Egli centre for price, kit and friendly welcome. Alexandro (incorrect spelling I am sure) at the Rene Egli centre was very helpful. Negatives Information on arrival Noise from building work Lack of tea and coffee in room (unless paid for) Charge for room safe. Mainly a beach holiday destination as not a great deal to do locally. Positives Good location close to good beaches and Costa Calma town. Clean hotel and guest rooms Comfortable beds and room was quiet at night Friendly helpful staff Good pool facilities (other than building work going on) Good splash park for children. In a nutshell I would go again.

A week here was enough for us, the hotel was spotlessly clean, nice staff and a welcome heated outdoor poll. We had a room on the 4th floor overlooking the main hotel square which was ok. It was clean and roomy but had an old bath/shower, off centre toilet and the hardest beds you could ever imagine, absolutely awful. Some people had rooms on the ground floor that were basically in the basement, they looked awful. The drinks were ok, nice beer and a good selection of premium brand shorts. The pool bar is OK but looks cheap and is the only one open during the day, the main bar opens at 6:00pm but has no charisma at all. The hotel is quite a way out but a spar shop is 10 minutes away and you can walk back along the beach for a stroll. The worst part however is the restaurant, the food in the main restaurant is OK, 3 star level, but unless you go really early or late it will be packed and very noisy. Most nights we had to clear the previous guests plates away ourselves and lay the, very old, table up with napkins and cutlery. We tried the Route 66 restaurant one night but the food was swimming in oil and cold. The restaurant was never a tranquil place for a meal at any sitting and reminded me of a works canteen, get in early and back out as quick as you can. We will not be returning.

Just returned from a week of all inclusive at the H10 Tindaya for a relaxing stay to celebrate my wife's retirement. All in all we had a good time but these are our objective thoughts now we are home. It's a lovely hotel, spacious, well laid out, clean and a great position in attractive grounds just a 10 minute walk to the main area of Costa Calma either along the beach or on the path through the thin parkland strip that runs the length of the resort. Amazing beach with direct access from the hotel and superb walks in either direction, especially to Sotavento beach which is a must see and took about 25 minutes. The food was mainly acceptable although a little tedious and limited choice compared to other similar hotels we have stayed at in the Canaries. I was surprised there was no tea/coffee available for lunch or dinner in the main restaurant. Route 66 was a welcome change but again a limited menu but a welcome table service although somewhat rushed. The hotel bar only opens when the beach bar closes and the queues were regularly very long. The staff were pleasant and hard working although clearly there were not enough of them for the number of guests as tables took an age to clear. Entertainment was ok but limited. The room was lovely, clean and spacious and a nice view over the pool, only spoiled by the constant loud noise from the work replacing the tiles round the pool which went on all day. We understand maintenance has to be done but all day? Like many I agree paying for the safe shouldn't be necessary and it's the first time we've experienced this. Also to provide a kettle and cups but no tea/coffee or even water was a disappointment. One thing that should be looked at value of the Privileged area. There seemed to be very few guests using it and incorporating into the main hotel would be a huge plus in that it would create a lovely 2nd hotel bar in the underused reception area, a much needed additional restaurant and an extra pool for all guests to spread out. We feel this would make the hotel a much more attractive proposition. We didn't use the spa as the cost seemed high for the facilities and we didn't see anyone else use it in the times we walked past playing mini golf (which we enjoyed). Padel tennis was fun and there were a number of other activities available. There was no Tui rep on the bus or in the hotel when we arrived and we never saw one the whole time we were there but assume they must have been there at some stage. Generally a nice break in a lovely area of the island but some changes would definitely improve the hotel's offering in our opinion.
