Amazing holiday in Costa Calma! 🏝️ Can’t recommend this apartment complex enough, such good value for money & a true hidden gem! Thank you so much for a lovely stay and for gifting us a bottle of lovely Prosecco for my sisters birthday 😍 Only things to note about the surrounding area are that there aren’t too many restaurants in Costa Calma so it would definitely be worth hiring a car for your trip! Beaches are unreal and weather was beautiful.

“Good apartment”

We have stayed in Costa Calma several times before but this was our first self catering experience. Welcomed with glasses booked a deluxe pool view (number 48) which was excellent. The rooms are cleaned every day bar Wednesday and Sunday. Do take your own shower gel and shampoo as apart from initial supplies these are not replaced. Also we had a dishwasher but was left only one tablet - so suggest you check out what is in your apartment beforehand as you could pack a few spares. Adequate amounts of cutlery but may struggle as only 4 tea spoons etc. if you have anymore than 2 in the apartment (ours had a sofa bed if needed). We were missing a kettle but one was provided by reception upon request. Spar supermarket is a minutes walk away. Parking is usually on street nearby. All in all good accommodation but check your location within the complex as views and space may vary. On-site restaurant is ok but there is some choice locally.

“Perfect.”

We stayed in apartment 65 and it was amazing. The terrace and balcony was huge with beautiful views across to the beach which was 5 mins away. We stayed in apartment 65 and it was amazing. The terrace and balcony was huge with beautiful views across to the beach which was 5 mins away. The location is good with shops restaurants and supermarkets close by. Apartment is spotless with everything you need. Nice swimming pool but cold. Also there is a pool bar and restaurant attached. Would definitely go back.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the complex itself was well kept. However, we had booked the deluxe sea-view apartment which I expected to have a decent terrace or balcony. We were at the back of the complex, our bedroom overlooked the hotel car-park, so the sea-view was very much in the distance from the terrace only. The terrace was at the top of the stairs to the door of the apartment, it would be classed as a landing at home, as it was as wide as the stairs up to the apartment, then a tiny section next to the top of the stairs, it was ridiculously small. Although sun-beds were provided you would have to put the table and chairs (also provided) in the apartment to use them, so the sunbeds sat up against the wall unused all week. Due to the location we didn't really get any sun at the apartment, so we literally sat on the "terrace" when we came back on a night for a quick night-cap. Fortunately, the location is very close to the beach so within 10 minutes we were on Costa Calma Beach. This is our 2nd visit to Fuerteventura this year, and we were in Costa Calma a few years ago so we knew we wanted to be near the beach and just have a relaxing week on the beach, which is what we got. Whilst Costa Calma is quiet, there are 2 nightclubs and a couple of bars with live music (Surf Bar and Pirates) and they were very loud and could be heard inside our room until the early hours. I wanted a cheap and cheerful week which is what we got, but I would look at other self-catering closer to the sea-front next time, as this didn't quite make the mark.
