Another 2 week Christmas stay here with the amazing Gala Dinner on the 25th - a fantastic selection of beautifully presented, and superb quality food. Exceptional staff in every area of the hotel deserve huge credit - the hotel's greatest asset A particular mention for Andre, Dipesh and Carmina in the restaurants, also David and Aram ( porters - a mine of infortmation - nothing too much trouble. The fantastic bar team who give such a warm, personal service. Everwhere is immaculate; taken care of by the faultless housekeeping team who kindly serviced our room each day, at a time suitable to us. Always a sincere welcome from all the Spa staff, not forgetting the classes made so enjoyable and worthwhile by Inge and Paula. There are so many more positives I could write about our stay here - the many different, peaceful and lovely areas to relax, the location of the hotel, and of course - the sunshine boost. A small disappointment on this visit - The Bay Lounge was only open on the final day of our holiday, which previously we have enjoyed visiting for lunch. This was our 10th visit to the hotel, and in the past we have requested a particular room, which the team have done their best to allocate. With the Hyatt takeover there is no option to book direct. We were shocked to be charged, what we consider is an unjustifiable extra 200 euros, in order to select our room.

This resort is exceptional. The staff and facilities ensure your stay is perfect. Rooms are spotless and spacious and the on-site restaurants cater for all tastes. The neighbouring building adjacent to the beach is currently derelict which is unsightly if you venture onto the neighbouring beach for a swim but it does not detract from the Bahia experience. “Good overall”

4th time at this hotel. Lovely overall, spa reasonable, good pool areas and food at breakfast/lunch. We tended to head straight for the Bali beds on sugar reef everyday and swim off the pier, also went to eat out every night vs staying at the hotel. 4th time at this hotel. Lovely overall, spa reasonable, good pool areas and food at breakfast/lunch. We tended to head straight for the Bali beds on sugar reef everyday and swim off the pier, also went to eat out every night vs staying at the hotel. The guest relations team are exceptional and once an issue was raised they resolved it quickly. Very friendly restaurant team by the pool abc also the porter was very helpful. Down sides - slightly arrogant/unhelpful reception guys, also who ever runs the juice bar at breakfast seems to hate the public! strange behaviour considering they work in customer service/hospitality. Some rooms are in need of maintainance and the local area is unfortunately not ideal (disused hotel building sites for the past 15 + years). We may be back, undecided!
