Superb position directly onto the beach. Friendly, warm welcoming staff. It was our 3 stay and each time for 3 weeks. 2 restos open for each meal plus 2 spécialité restos and 2 snack bars for other hours. Nightly entertainment a mix of professionnel artiste and the rui entertainment team. Daily activities stretching, aqua gym, d'arts..... 2 pools one calme and the other with activities. Lifeguards on duty and free beach towers exchanged every day on demand 2 bars both poolside with plenty of setting and sun loungers Very clean and tidy with nice ground plenty of staff cleaning and keeping the site correct. Hope we will be going back again later this year

Firstly, let me start by saying some of the poor reviews on here are exaggerated & not very realistic! Please remember what you paid for your holiday & review accordingly! This is a 3* hotel, not 4 or 5 stars! Yes, the hotel is old & decor a bit dated, but all this is not hidden! The hotel is clean & functional, but yes, it is showing its age & has issues that go with this, so expected blemishes, older decor, etc. The hotel was due to undergo a refurbishment in 2024, but this has been postponed whilst the hotel company fights a court battle against demolishment (more info available online if you are interested) Therefore, until the court battle is over, money is not going to be spent on full refurbishment. The good bits: staff are fantastic on the whole, hotel is situated right on a huge golden sandy beach right on the doorstep of a national park (sand dunes, the main court issue!), main hotel pool is heated, facilities for a 3* hotel we thought were very good, Bad bits: lifts, 3 of these in main building, 1 was never in service during our 10 night stay, the other 2 are constantly breaking down on a daily basis, so if you have mobility issues do not get a room in the main building, get one of the garden apartments on ground floor. No WiFi in rooms & air con was not working, but it was December, so it's not really needed. We did use the overhead ceiling fan frequently, though! Rooms are small, dated & a bit tired but functional, we found the beds very comfortable & maid service is very good. You get a room safe & fridge but not kettle, etc. Have liquid soap/shower gel in rooms, no other toiletries. Check in was easy process & Jon on reception was friendly, very helpful, & explained everything really well. Carlos & Enrique in the salon bar were great, we really liked this bar & spent most of our nights there as we don't really do the kids club discos & shows in the bigger bar, preferring the quieter ambience of the other bar. They both make a great 'Bloody Mary' too if you like that sort of thing. Drinks quality is pretty standard Spanish All Inc fare, local spirits, not the best, therefore some of the cocktails are a bit off! Beer is Amstel on draft & mostly help yourself, also have Cruzcampo Radler on tap too, soft drinks, wines & coffee etc all self service.  Food, always a bone if contention! We are not too fussy & always found more than enough to eat, biggest drawback is the temperature of the food, not always the hottest, but there is a microwave in the main buffet restaurant as well as the snack bar.  Food is repetetive as in most All inc hotels. Ate out at canarian restaurant one night, didn't bother again, not that impressed TBH. Chinese a la carte was closed until January so not able to rate that!. Top tip if you want sunshine on your balcony book a room with pool view if staying in main hotel building. Corralejo is a long walk or short bus ride away about 7km. Bus stop is a short walk from reception. Taxi cost under 10 Euro. Transfer to hotel from airport is 30 - 45mins by coach.

Firstly yes the hotel is old tired and dated ..but it's clean and the staff are all lovely The location is 5 star beautiful beach that goes on for miles and crystal clear blue sea The food is typical all inclusive but you will always find something to eat. We didn't really bother with the entertainment we preferred to sit out on the terrace at night something you can't do at home in November!! We also preferred the annex pool to the main hotel one again just our preference as it's quieter and we go on holiday to just chill ...quite happy reading a book. We loved the beach so spent few days on there (you pay for sun loungers and parasol) The bus to corralejo is a short walk from the hotel and goes every half hour for 1 euro 20 i think it was Great place for shops and lovely sea front restaurants for meals. From there you can also get the ferry to lanzarote for the day we booked online prices vary depending on who you book with The lifts can be very hit and miss went up n down some days without letting us out we were on 7th floor !! And door were constantly shutting on folk had to be very swift getting in and out !! Despite some issues in our room lights not working TV not good etc corridor carpets thread bare we just accepted this hotel for what it is old !! We had a great holiday lovely weather beds were clean and comfy (maids did amazing cleaning jobs of the rooms they work really hard ) We were rather worried by negative reviews and all the mentions of d&v yes so many folk can't do a simple thing like use sanitiser available at entrance of restaurants and saw lots of folk leaving toilets not washing hands !! We took some hand gel and used that just be mindful of some people's lack of personal hygiene!! Think this may well be our new go to for winter sun no stress holiday 😀 normally do cape verde but shorter flight 😀 came home booked to go again in may Very good 3 star hotel 5 star location 5 star staff 👌
