Brilliant 5 night stay between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Great location a short walk to the back or large strip of bars shops and restaurants. Lovey views from the beach to harbour and lots lobos and also could see Lanzarote. We had a pool access room which we felt was worth the money and was definitely upgraded furniture. Lovely hot tub on the balcony to catch the evening sun.staff brilliant and the a la carte lunch menu was brilliant. Evening and breakfast were great AI selection. Wine and drinks all good and great all inc cocktails. Entertainment at night good little in day that we saw. Would recommend

Stayed here a number of times, but this was our best stay ever! We were lucky enough to be chosen for VIP experience which included a free drink at the bar, a free spa experience and a free Balinese bed experience, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Having stayed here many times we knew what to expect - rooms are well furnished and nicely decorated, very comfortable beds and lovely showers. There are several room types available - see the website to find one that suits you. We stayed in a standard double room. Food - was great, nice breakfast with a good choice of hot and cold items, special diets (GF, Lactose free, Veggie, Vegan etc) are catered for - if you have any special requirements speak to the staff and they will sort everything out for you! Dinner was great too, a good choice of meat, fish, veggie dishes, salads, fruit, deserts etc. We ate very well here and enjoyed every meal. We had two gala dinners here Xmas and New Year. They were spectacular, great joyful atmosphere, harpist / cellist playing beautiful music. The food was delicious, especially the seafood and sushi (thanks Johnny). Activities - a range of fitness and wellbeing activies including aqua gym, Pilates, circuit training, stretching and balance. If you are not a gym bunny there are some other excellent activities including the unbeatable cocktail experience, run by a professional mixologist (Kris) - great fun and our favourite activity I sincerely hope they keep this activity, and perhaps have it more than once per week. There is a painting class - which I thoroughly enjoyed as well, and a ceramics class which I didn't try but my friends did and said it was great. Spa - we used this for the first time - really enjoyed it, a 90 min session to use the different indoor pools, jacuzzi, shower labyrinth, steam room and sauna, great way to unwind. There are massage and beauty treatments available here too. Hair salon is on the lower floor - my friend had a cut and style, looked fabulous and would recommend. Balinese beds were comfortable and quiet - a bit shady at this time of year, but we still enjoyed the experience with a bottle of cava and a platter of fruit - very indulgent. Entertainment in the evening was great - good mix of different shows and styles of music, a chance to get on the dance floor for a boogie too. A nice bar area with really great cocktails, expertly made by Jorge - reasonably priced. The location makes it easy to walk from the hotel to the town in just a couple of minutes for bars, shops etc, the nearest beach is just over the road or you can take a local bus to the dunes if you don't feel up to walking there. This hotel has always been good but what makes it truly great is the kindness and service of the staff - a special mention for both Hilario and Elba in the restaurant - you made our stay very special. Cannot wait to go back in December - if not before.

This hotel is part of a chain which we have previously used on the island. We went with high hopes, partly due to the cost of the hotel but felt really disappointed mainly by the food, shabby room, terrible entertainment and almost non existent customer service. It generally appeals to clients of a certain age and style, but that is not reflected in the package you get. The ambience, food quality and behaviour of diners (using their hands not tongs to pick up salad items, cheeses etc) encouraged us to eat out despite paying over the top for half board. The house wine by the glass is terrible. The location is good which enabled us to easily access the beach, beach clubs and other restaurants in resort. Our positives are that the hotel does have some good facilities eg the hydrotherapy circuit but everything comes with a cost. The pool area is pretty good too. It is quiet at night with no noise from other guests but you do get to experience the entertainment even on the 3rd floor. The nicest staff were the cleaning team.
