“Basic apartments, friendly staff, a shame about the building/rerouting of road at the front of the hotel”

Rooms basic, staff friendly. Road rerouted to front of the hotel whilst we were here which took away what should have been a tranquil seaview. Easy access to marina, strip, and music square. Plenty of restaurants and shops. On site shop reasonable, and hyperdino 5 minutes away.

We did wonder what we’d get after reading the reviews but we were very happy with what we got. The apartments are very clean and the beds are comfy, lovely big bathroom and they provide some toiletries. The staff were lovely too especially Carlos and the staff in the bar, the cocktails were delicious and not expensive. The on-site supermarket was great, fresh bread and croissants every morning and the prices were very reasonable, there’s a hipa dino just up the road if you want more choice. Only issue was the sun beds, people waiting for them to be unlocked at 9:00 then leaving towels and disappearing for hours, there was a party of 8 that every morning lined up beds by the pool then didn’t actually use them until around midday, there were always extra beds round by the children’s play area if you didn’t want to be by the pool. It was about a 10-15 minute walk up to the main strip, but there were some lovely small bars and restaurants on the way that were much nicer and not as expensive as some of the bigger ones in the music square and and Main Street. Don’t be put off by the bad reviews we had a lovely chilled holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

I was a little worried after booking this hotel as it seemed to have very mixed reviews, however we got a super cheap deal so I wasn't expecting luxury. However the hotel is really nice, I found all public areas to be clean, the staff were very friendly. I'd read a lot of reviews about the apartments being very dated but I didn't think they were. They were very spacious, the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable and we had a great walk in shower.we were provided with washing up products and a brush and mop and bucket. The cleaners I believe come once a week however we were only there for 5 days and were advised if we wanted cleaners to come it would cost 25 euro and clean towels were 3 euro. We didn't bother and just cleaned behind ourselves. The shop on site is very good, they have fresh baked goods, fresh cooked pizzas, microwave meals, and lots more and the prices were very good. The pool bar does amazing cheesy chips with bacon! The only negatives to this place is you have to be by the pool by about 8.45 if you want to get a sunbed. The hotel unlock them at 9am and there is always loads of people stood round waiting to grab a bed. Second thing was we arrived just after 12pm and our apartment wasn't ready. The lady on reception advised it would be ready by 3pm so we went to the pool bar for some lunch and took a quick wonder round outside but by 3pm we were told it still wasn't ready and when I asked how long it's likely to be I was told they really don't know. We were totally exhausted as had been travelling since 2am. We finally got Into our apartment just after 5pm. I've never experienced anything like this before, whenever I book a package deal my apartment/room is always ready on arrival regardless of the time. However It was just the 1st day and it didn't ruin our holiday even if we were a big agitated by the time we got our key lol
