“Lovely staff, nice hotel”

First of all huge shoutout to Cate. Lovely lady who does the entertainment and sometimes the restaurant. She really needs mentioning! Hotel is nice. Very big. Cannot fault the rooms they are huge, cleaned every day, air con, more than everything you need. All staff are friendly and helpful. In a great location. My only gripe would be the que at bar in evening can be a bit annoying and better entertainment needed. If they have an act like a singer then the entertainment is only 1 hour per night. However lots of bars to go to 10 mins walk. We also hired a car from the hotwl which was only 40euro for 24 hours and worth it Would stay here again.

“Great holiday and lovely hotel”

So pleased we chose this hotel for our holiday. Not only was it great value but we really liked the location being a short walk from the main town and then the shopping centre in the opposite direction. It felt nice and chilled which was what we like. And our daughters felt safe walking around the hotel and the whole area without us. We were bed and breakfast so can't speak for other meals but breakfast was really great with lots of choice each day. There were always plenty of sunbeds around the pool. Yes the pool is pretty cold but after sunbathing for a while it was refreshing to get in and cool off. We used the spa and had a 15 min massage as part of a deal. The massage was great and we enjoyed using the spa facilities for the day. Would definitely visit again!

“Nice room but hotel improvements needed.”

Stayed here for 2 weeks end of June. Room: junior suite. Only faults I have is in the bath there's rust spots and TVs have no English channels other than that rooms are great. Beds are comfy, 2 pillows each. Free safe. Lovely little kitchen, good fridge. Stayed on 1st floor actually same levels... more

Stayed here for 2 weeks end of June. Room: junior suite. Only faults I have is in the bath there's rust spots and TVs have no English channels other than that rooms are great. Beds are comfy, 2 pillows each. Free safe. Lovely little kitchen, good fridge. Stayed on 1st floor actually same levels as pools which was great. Had a room right next to smaller pool. WiFi is shocking keeps kicking you off constantly. Pool areas nice but pools are cold, but they do warm up after 10 minutes if you keep moving around. Pool bar self service soft drinks, beer and coffee. Slushes served blue or red sometimes made too strong. The snack bar was not impressive, hotdogs, burgers and chips. Every time we tried they were cold, so had to reheat back in room (good job there's a microwave) obviously can't reheat chips though so went without. The food covers are the ones you take off so difficult when you only got one hand as the other is holding the plate. These need to be changed. The pool bar does have a small selection of sandwiches, cakes or pastries, peanuts or crisps to help yr self to. The ice-cream is little pots tasted very gritty the chocolate/vanilla was the only decent one, but these go quickly. Restaurant I was happy with food, lots of choices although desserts are same cream cakes as always. Sometimes they had prepared fruit. The breakfast smoothies are ok but why are they all made with banana? Pineapple and orange would be nice. Reception is large in the daytime there's no lights on making it dark also the corridors to the rooms are dark looks like they are trying to save money turning them off. Loads of tiles throughout the hotel are damaged. There's an old fountain structure, rusted and unused between rooms near gym. A lot of areas need refurbing. Entertainment, nothing some nights just a person with a laptop. 4 nights a week they have either a guitarist or a singer and guitarist (one night). This is outside in entrance. There's also only one bar in the evening and only pool bar in daytime. Location is ok 5 minutes to the left you come to restaurants and shops, not much there though compared to other areas of fuerventura. China shop over the road from hiperdino supermarket is alot cheaper. €5 euros cheaper for a towel. There is no shopping strip just different areas dotted around, hire scooters and explore. To the right exiting hotel there is Atlantico shopping centre, not much there either, we used the spar and browsed around afew clothes shops. On beach by ruins there are chipmunks. Also little rats. The pigeons will land on yr hand for peanuts. We used the Bird scooters to get there 5 minutes. Walking will take 15-20mins. Other scooters have bad reviews. Be aware Bird scooters will not go past the front of hotel to the harbour you will have to go road way. From the harbour onwards they are fine, we used them up to the piscina natural. Outside the front of Atlantico centre opposite there is a McDonald's use the subway to get there. Beach outside hotel is ok, but sand is gritty. When you enter the water it's not soft on yr feet. Issue is the water is cloudy so you can't see where yr stepping so be careful of rocks. There is also a sharp slope getting in. 2 beds and umbrella €10.50. Beach outside Atlantico is much better €12.00 sand is softer and water clear. But so windy doesn't make it pleasurable with sand blasting you. Overall nice break but improvements needed hence only 3 stars given.

“Could be better. Dated concrete box.”

Nice location but hotel very dated. Room nice and spacious but again very dated. Food was lovely and service at restaurant was great. The massive let down was entertainment or should I say lack of it. One of the worst I have experienced. Stuff in bar Brest but again not a great choice of drinks. The hotel was lacking greenness and even pool area wasn’t inviting and felt very cold and surrounded by concrete. Hotel has a good potential unfortunately not very inviting.
